inherited you claim. how does that claim jive with those who change from hetero to homosexual. i have heard testimonies of those who were recruited.
Homosexuality isn't as innocent as it seems. Fact is that the 'gay movement' is trying to destroy the moral fabric of society as we know it, it tries to undermine christian values and institutions. Homosexuality, more than any other sin 'bringeth forth sin' (James 1:15): the liberal agenda of the 'gay movement' is all about trying to legalize other sins like abortion, pedophilia, drug usage etc.

prejudice and discrimination. Are these good or bad?
There are many definitions and uses for the words prejudice and discrimination. The most commonly used application of the word prejudice I see is when an adverse opinion is levied apart from the facts (e.g. misinformation) which can result in unwarranted discrimination.
However, when one has the facts and discriminates in the sense they act in good judgment based on the facts than that is good.
James 1:15
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
No mention of homosexuality in there. I think you are pretending it says something else.
And unless you can actually prove that somehow being gay leads to abortion, pedophilia,
and drug usage I'm not going to take those claims seriously.
So denying minorities the same rights you enjoy whilevilifying them are good things to you?
Homosexuality isn't the only sin that's mentioned in the Bible but keeps on
getting brought up by Christians for some reason. I think that the reason is
because some straight people think it's gross. That's it, that's what the
argument boils down to. Some straight people think it's gross.
Now tell me would your position be reversed if the Bible made no
mention whatsoever of homosexuality? Or even said it was perfectly
acceptable? I'm assuming probably not because you people still think
it's gross.
Sorry, but just because someone thinks it's detestable or unappealing
doesn't mean you can deny homosexuals the same rights that you claim
for yourself.
We forgive you for your conjecture, false assertions, ignorance, and projecting a false view of our position.
Care to answer the question honestly? And why exactly do you hold the position
against equal rights?
Would your position be reversed if the Bible made no mention whatsoever
of homosexuality? Or even said it was perfectly acceptable?
Bigotry wrapped in religion is still bigotry.
It's normal to lead with a question rather than to make false assertions and misrepresent the positions of others, then apologize for it, then do a straight 180 and end with a false insinuation. You're all over the map.
Myself, I've already answered the question honestly but you never used the search button to see if I did just like you never bothered to ask the question to begin with before making such ridiculous posts.
In my educated opinion, you still have a lot of growing up to do for someone who claims to be 33 years of age. Right away you are in desperate need of a good logic 101 course to help you think reasonably, a good communications course to help you communicate reasonably, and a good philosophy 101 course to help you better see the options available instead of simply defaulting to your own bias.
I have to leave to assist family but we may talk about your many shortcomings in these areas later and how they are leading you into error.
Thank you precious brother RedTent, for all of us take heed to the words of Jesus:We live in a marvelous time, God has let us understand so much about ourselves. Through brain imagining we can understand how our brain works. Christians have know that we change when Jesus comes into our hearts, now neuroscience is proving it and showing us why and how. There is an actual change in our brain when there is a change in our focus and thoughts.
In the secular world, Martin Luther King changed the focus and thoughts of a nation. People like Ellen DeGeneres and some of our movie actors have changed much of our nation by leading us in their lifestyle. With brain imaging techniques we could even take pictures of this. Tests have been done with people concentrating on a certain action for two hours a day for a week. With brain imaging, they could see the changes in the brain that took place. It was the same changes that happened when the actual action was performed the same way.
When you change your focus to God's way and let Him take over your thoughts, throwing out the thoughts that are against His way, it is more than our behavior and happiness that happens, our physical brain is changed in a way we could have a picture of it.
Great, can't wait until you or anyone else actually address
the questions instead of dodging them. Ad hominim attacks
are typical of someone who doesn't have a good answer.
