I'm stii learning how to navigate this site. In response let me clear up the confusion. A Christian is one that follows Christ and his teachings and doesn't hold back on the truth. A lot of Christian leaders are not being honest. A man on this site was inquiring about being a gay Christian SORRY no such thing homosexuality is an abomination in Gods word the Bible
A christian is a sinner just like any other the only diffrence is are sins are coverd by are lord an savior an yes we are to strive to be christ like but no one is perfect to say there is no such things as a gay christian is to say there is no such thing as a lying christian or a stealing christian or a christian who sometimes have bad thoughts.... being gay is a sin like any other an if you cant be gay an be a christian that would mean you cant sin an be a christian which would mean there are no real christians..

Here we go!! The Christian community should back me up but unfortunately where they church at may be a watered down version of the Gospel to make it pallatable to the unsaved. I'm not into "pleasing man but rather god" by being truthful. The word gay was never meant to be used for perversion the proper term issa sodomy. The difference between those like that and one who sins thr truly saved person will REPENT og their sin while those that are living in sin will look for ways to justify their they are not saved and out of the will of god. Yes being gay is an abomination in the eyes of The Lord, but so is lying, stealing, addiction etc. I am by no way saying it is okay to be gay, but it is not the unforgivable sin so they can still go to heaven. Whether homosexuality is a choice or a disease the devil has given people or whatever. No one knows 100% that homosexuality is a choice or is not. But I do know one thing it is a sin, in which all sins are weighed the same to God cause they are all still sins, but if they believe in Jesus they can be forgiven.

Your right about one thing we should try to be without spot or wrinkle but we will never be able to do that as long as we keep focusing on things like homosexuals like there so much worse than anything else... you an i or no better than a gay person an as long as that person belives in christ an that he came to die for are sins an has a relationship with him he or she is a christian an it dosent matternwhat sin we have in are life christ said he is the way to heaven not not commiting sin.

What part about my answer don't you get? The sodomite is living in unrepentant sin. Why is common sense so uncommon. And we hav to tell the truth about it because the enemy is taking peopl by storm oh and abortion is murder. Wr are supposed to correct these peopl wth th truth in love. God says 'judge you not lest you be judged also' and when you bring a fellow man into correction do so with love and understanding lest you should slip also and need his understanding.
For this cause did God give us the NT of Jesus Christ because of mankinds hard heartedness towards his fellow man.
God is a God of the living and not of the dead.
Years ago I also thought I knew the meaning of the Bible through my fleshly eyes but God is loving and forgiving if we diligently seek Him. I too condemned and then at one point God led me through the NT and I now see God in a totally different light and I look upon my fellowman in kinship no matter who they are or what their choices are. It is the way in which we let our light of God shine through us so others may see and want of it also.
Let your love light shine from the highest mountain.

Yes indeed. I wonder how many times through the eons God has been asked the same question and if He is tired of us imbeciles who always need guidance but then even Jesus drew away from the crowds to rest and refresh himself.
