Hi im 23 and just recently had a psychotic attack or was it? We went out in a group and had a few drinks when my brothers girlfriend disappeared. I remember feeling extremely upset and angry and then I woke up on my bed and had 4 people praying over me and demanding that whatever was in me leave my body. I do not believe I was possessed but I don't completely remembered what happened. I had 3 strong men holding me down with 2 ladies praying for me. I have not had an easy life and wondering if schizophrenia is a possibility?? Please help me, im very confused and irritated with myself. Are there ways to tell what is wrong? If I can mention I am a Christian. I pray most days and have a good relationship with everyone around me. A family friends son is currently battleing a bad demon and is or was part of a satanic cult. He has since been exorcised and is fighting it everyday, however I only met him once when he was a baby.

Well, without knowing what happened in-between, it's hard to say. People should not be doing exorcisms without your permission and cooperation. The only way to tell anything is to talk to those people. There is just as much likelihood that what they did as wrong and self-serving, as that it was right. From the rest of your post, it sounds you are associating with people who do a lot of exorcisms, and there is great potential in such groups to being doing it wrong.

I don't think I could tell you what to ask either, so as to help you figure it out. If they will tell you what happened (and I mean everything), you can let me know, either in the threads or by private e-mail, and I will try to do so.

You are not alone with your struggle. We are here to help you like one of your family in God's kingdom. Every time you have struggle...just declare the Blood of Jesus and demons will go away. In your case...a psychiatrist is also a must. God will use people by any means just to deliver you out from that bondage. this is the least that i can do for you....

I am going to see a pastor on Wednesday who has requested to see me. I tried to find out what happened, but some feel its best I see the pastor first. An exorcism was apparently not performed as I was not on holy ground. I was very aggressive and very vocal with bad language, also everyone was removed from the room when I was being prayed for. The lady who was here says I have opened bad portals and that follow up is nessesary. But I just don't believe I have a demon and would prefer to think I have something mentally wrong hence the question. I have only ever known one person to have been possessed which is the guy I mentioned, I feel very strongly to try help him although I do not personally know him, only his parents. I have been sleeping since this ordeal and I have been very confused. Maybe I should see the pastor and psychiatrist before making any assumptions? Once they have made the diagnoses maybe I could email you? I battle to talk about this with people around me. Thank you for your reply.

1. Are you a believer. Do you understand the Bible, believe the Bible, and recognize Jesus Christ died for you and that you are God's child as a result of Christ's sacrifice? If so you are redeemed and are under no danger of the Devil and demons. They can tempt you but cannot possess you.
2. Schitzophrenia is a complex neurological malady in which a person can have limited comprehension (especially at the educational level), often hear voices, become aggressive or depressed, can elope, can have very real hallucinations, can become pathological liar, and often deals with insomnia. Though I'm not a doctor I do have two friends who are diagnosed with schitzophrenia and these are their most common "symptoms".

When you say he's battling a bad demon, what actions of his are you basing this on. The world's rendition of being possessed is hardly biblical. Just because a child has behavioral issues and occasional seizures doesn't mean he's battling a demon... just lacking the Holy Spirit. There are very distinct signs of demon possession that go way behind depression and misbehaving.

The more you say, the more warning bells go off in my head. It is early to judge, as you are suggesting. In fact, until I get the whole story, you sound more sane to me than these folks who started the deliverance do. If you are making lists of who to see, the pastor, a psychiatrist, and another pastor in another church unrelated to "the" pastor, all come to mind.

You understand, the information I think is useful is observational truth, not explanations of what caused it. For example, "you became red in the face, punched a wall and fell over unconscious" is worthwhile; "you got possessed by an underdemon of Lilith" is pure garbage, although the terminology they use is a fact that is valuable to understanding their point of view.

Please read again the comment two paragraphs above. You sound quite sane to me, and I have warning bells about these folks. Also, if you can give me website for the church in question, I can check a lot from here.

Yes, I have never been more sure of anything, I am a believer, I understand the bible, and I know that I am Gods child, I sometimes feel that I am not worthy of his love or not worthy of his acceptance, but I have told myself over and over that that is not the case. I battle with past issues, but I was finding myself with Gods help that I was doing ok.

2. I had been diagnosed with Schizophrenia when I was 20 years old, I had a drug addiction and was sent to rehab, the first thing they said, without any testing was that I had Schizophrenia and I thought, what a load of rubbish. And I never took the medication. I often get into states of rage, but nothing like what happened on Saturday. I completely lost control of myself.

He has over 50 different demons within him according to the pastor one of which seems to be in a form of 3 animals combined (frog, wolf and another one, I would prefer not to look it up now) , he was on his way to being a satanic priest, my knowledge of this comes purely from word of mouth, I have never seen him in his 'devil' states. He apparently levitates across the room, tried to kill his father and other people who tried to help him, moves around like a snake on the floor and talks in a funny language in a different voice, also self mutation is seen, there are other things, but those were the worst. The parents are friends of my parents, and I have known them forever, just never the son as he lives in a different place, but was recently brought to my home town to the pastor that wants to see me.

I have also heard that if I accept Christ and believe that nothing can posses me or harm me of that sort, maybe I finally have just completely lost it?

Demonic possession and deliverance are for real, but in some countries especially, like Haiti maybe, and some parts of America as well, they are also a ritual. No demon needs to be involved, but for the sake of social confromity, people go through the motions, allowing themselves to act, if not be, possessed, so others may give thanks to God for the mock deliverance they re-enact. I have read a good deal about this, and the more you say, the more I think you are living in Haiti instead of South Africa, which I believe to be a modern civilzed country on par with most of the countries of the EU.

The little bit you posted just now sounds like a drug flashback enhanced by a hormonal cycle. If these folks keep calling demons, they are likely to get some. Neither you nor I want the demons they bring to themselves to be brought through your body. Pending more information to be sure, go see a doctor who specializes in hormone imbalance, and a counselor who can help with anger managment, and stay away from the adventure seekers calling themselves exorcists.

The guy is probably a devil worshipper for real, but a real sorcerer would not waste his energy showing off like this, unless he were raised in such a culture as well. "Friends of parents" suggests you were raised in a church that subscribes to the culture I am describing.

:) None of us are deserving... so isn't it wonderful that God's justification of us has nothing to do with anything we are capable of in the flesh? He saves, strengthens, cleanses, comforts, heals, forgives, and equips. He is provident and sovereign and has already given you everything you need to live a life for Him.

Because of sin entering into the world with Adam and Eve we as humans must live with certain sufferings and maladies, but no sin of ours, or our parents, or our grandparents, etc. are the cause of physical things like schitzophrenia.

There is no levitation, though they can self-mutilate (which could be caused by more than just demonic possession), put others in danger, babel, show a blatant disregard for laws of physics and self-preservation by showing unheard-of strength and harming themselves. It is something that only a non-believer can fall to and only God can cure. I'm sorry you have to see anyone going through such things regardless of what is causing it. It does not HAVE to be a demon, though his dappling with Satanism certainly exposes him.

I do know however that this pastor is one of the best in South Africa according to my sources. I do know however that this pastor is one of the best in South Africa according to my sources. He has had many dealings with this sort of thing, I have met him once and will be seeing him on Wednesday.

Why do they need to do anything? There is nothing you have to be ashamed of. If something happened it was due to mental illness... not something that you need see a pastor about for anything besides prayer (which can be done without your being present and plenty of which you will get here). If you should visit with a pastor (of no satanic affiliation) be sure to take with you someone you trust who is a strong believer. Someone mature in the Lord, who is a righteous woman/man. I know you must be frightened, concerned, and even regretful (though you couldn't help any of it), but just remember that the Lord will use this situation for His glory. Just cleave to Him and the fellowship of other believers and compare EVERYTHING you hear to what you know about God and the Bible.

HI Amber, it is nice to meet you too, I do read my bible, but I am not aware of every verse and I have not read the bible throughout. Thank you for your versus, and I am hopeful today more than yesterday. Thank you for your prayers, they are greatly needed and appreciated.
