Morning Shiloah!!!!

They are having the same argument in Sudan. I would imagine it's going on everywhere on the planet. The world is becoming enlightened with Gods Sabbath message! So,, don't be depressed... This message will rise to a loud cry! And soon,, the latter rain will be poured out...

This latter rain will strengthen Gods people for the tests that are to come. Just as Jesus was strengthened at the Transfiguration to go thru His crucifixtion.
do you care also about the Christians killed and persecuted in Sudan? or you wouldn't care about those who have faith in Christ and persecuted because of that faith in CHRIST, but not have faith in Sabbath as you do?

I know what is to come. When all have heard the truth of Gods Sabbath, it will be time that Sunday, the 1st day of the week is enforced.

Folks are having the same arguments about Gods Sabbath & state of the dead as we are having here.

You can get on Gods bus to heaven,, or the sunday cruise to hell. It's your choice.... The Sabbath message isn't going away. It will become louder and louder.... As it becomes louder and louder,,,, men who work for Satan will establish sunday as a law, and enforce it's observance.

WOW. I tell you, you might be the one who is going to hell. Because Christ promised blessings to those people who are persecuted (literally) for His name's sake. While you who claim to be Christian, it might be you that Jesus will send to hell because of this:
Matthew 25
41 “Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
42 For I hungered, and ye gave Me no meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink;
43 I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in; naked, and ye clothed Me not; sick and in prison, and ye visited Me not.’
44 Then shall they also answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when saw we Thee hungering or athirst or a stranger, or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister unto Thee?’
45 Then shall He answer them, saying, ‘Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me.’

The commandment of resting on the Sabbath of God is from our six days' of labor. Sabbath means rest, but by itself it is not the Sabbath of the commandment unless it is applied to the week and what the six days are and the Seventh. If all your cuts and pastes are telling me that all my life I was resting when I was working, you are quite out of what I believe the context is of the seventh day.
Yahweh bless you for your efforts and attempts. The Sabbath is made for man was stated to allow man to do good on the Sabbath of the Lord, even if it required work of some sort. The easy yoke mentioned by our Lord is His teaching, His burden is light, not the heavy burdens given by the hypocrites. In learning from Him we have rest from those burdens. Read the Word, but keep the quotes in context, otherwise they are being changed from what they were saying, and this, in plain words, is error.

In Hebrew sabbath means to rest. God has made us a promise of rest but it is up to us to claim it. The sabbath is not a certain day of the week because Jesus Christ has become our sabbath. We can have the true sabbath that God promised us everyday if we like or we can set aside a certain day. God tells us there are certain things we must do before we can enter His rest. So lets go to His word and read how we can get true rest for our souls.

Hebrews 4:1-13

1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into His rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

God gave us a promise of rest, it is up to us to claim it.

2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

The gospel or good news is preached to believers and unbelievers alike. It does not do the unbelievers any good because they don't have faith. If we want to enter His rest, we need to have faith.

3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as He said, As I have sworn in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

The believers are able to enter into His rest if we claim the promise that was made. The works of that rest, salvation in Jesus Christ, were finished from the creation of the earth.

4 For He spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all His works.

We count our days different than God does so this is not talking about one of our days of the week. A day with God is a thousand years.

2 Peter 3:
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into My rest.

God wants us to enter in to His rest but we must claim the promise to do so. We can do that by having faith and reading His word.

6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

Some people must enter the rest that God offers, they don't have a choice. The people that must enter in are chosen by God. They are God's elect. Everyone else has a choice to enter the rest but many don't because they don't have faith. Another word that can be used for unbelief is disobedience. If we are not following the word of God, we are being disobedient and will not enter into His rest.

7 Again, He limiteth a certain day, saying in David, Today, after so long a time; as it is said, Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.

This is quoting form Psalms 95:7-8 It goes on to say how Israel tempted God in the wilderness. God was grieved with that generation because of their disobedience. That generation did not enter into God's rest, they died in the wilderness. The point is to open up our hearts to God and His word and do not be disobedient.

8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would He not afterward have spoken of another day.

Jesus in this verse properly transliterated is Joshua. Joshua was the one that brought the children of Israel into the promised land. Joshua was a type of our true rest, Jesus Christ.

9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

The word rest , in this verse is from the Greek word sabbaton which means sabbath. This is the only time it is used in the chapter. Our true sabbath is Jesus Christ. Only Christ is able to save our soul and give us true rest. We can have that rest today if we have faith, read His word and are not disobedient to the Lord. We learn that Christ is also our passover in I Corinthians 5:7

I Corinthians 5:7
V7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:/color]

10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

How do we enter His rest? Labour. The word labour in Greek is spoudazo (spoo-dad'-zo) and means to use speed, i.e. to make effort, be prompt or earnest. We need to make an effort to increase our faith in Jesus Christ. We can do that by studying the word of God. We must also make an effort to obey God and not be disobedient. If we want true rest, this is the way to get it.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The word quick is zao (dzah'-o) and means to live. The word of God is alive and will help us to divide our flesh thoughts from our spiritual thoughts. It will teach us how to live and act as God would want us to. The word discerner is kritikos (krit-ee-kos') and means decisive ("critical"), i.e. discriminative. God's word is to be our judge, we are not to judge God's word. God's word will judge our intermost thoughts and intents.

13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.

God sees and knows everything we do. Their is nothing that anyone can do that is hidden from our Father.

Lets read what Jesus Christ has to say about the sabbath and rest.

Mark 2:
27 And He said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Jesus Christ tells us that He is Lord of the sabbath. He is the possessor of it and has control over it. Christ has become our sabbath. He is the promise of rest that God has made to us. We can only get true rest for our body and soul from Jesus Christ. We can work at getting this rest today by having faith and reading the word of God.

Matthew 11:
28 Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.

Christ tells us to go to Him for our rest. The word yoke is zugos (dzoo-gos') and means (to join, especially by a "yoke"); a coupling. We are to join together with Christ and learn from Him. That is done by having faith and reading God's word. We do these things along with being obedient, we will get our rest. You can count on it, it is a promise from God.

A few more things I'd like to cover.

Colossians 2:

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Don't just believe what people tell you about God's word, always go to God's word and let that be the judge. Don't fall for the latest new religion that somebody comes up with. Christianity is not a religion but a reality. Jesus Christ was real and to be a Christian we need to follow Him and not the traditions of men. As we get closer to the return of Jesus Christ, more people are going to be claiming to have the latest new 'thing' about God's word. Don't believe them and always check out what they say in God's word for yourself. This goes for my studies as well as anything else somebody might tell you about the word of God. It's your eternal life that's on the line and you owe it to yourself to make sure what people tell you lines up with what God said.

9 For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in Him, Which is the head of all principality and power:

We are complete in Christ Who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Our Father is in control of all things.

11 In Whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

This is talking about a circumcision of our mind. We need to change the way we think and act in the flesh. We need to act more like God would want us to and we do that by following the example of Jesus Christ. We should not harden our hearts to Christ and His teachings. We need to open our hearts to Christ and make a effort to follow Him.

12 Buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God, Who hath raised Him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

We are spiritually made alive with our faith that God raised Christ from the dead.

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross;

All the blood ordinances and sacrifices were done away with when Christ was nailed to the cross.

15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Jesus Christ triumphed over Satan in His daily life and in being raised from the dead. He defeated death which is Satan.

16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

The sabbath days were just a shadow of our true rest, Jesus Christ. Only Christ can save our soul and give us rest.

Jesus Christ has become our sabbath and we can have that rest everyday of the week if we want, it's up to us. We need to have faith, an open our mind and work to get His rest. Read God's word and claim the promise of rest that He made to us. If you would like to set aside a day of the week to do this, there is nothing wrong with that. But remember that mankind gave the days of the week names, not God.

Also, with God a day is a thousand years so saying a certain day is the sabbath just don't work. Our sabbath is Jesus Christ. We should enter our sabbath everyday.

So you are decreeing the Sudan's Christians who don't believe in your belief to hell?
WOW. I tell you, you might be the one who is going to hell. Because Christ promised blessings to those people who are persecuted (literally) for His name's sake. While you who claim to be Christian, it might be you that Jesus will send to hell because of this:
Matthew 25

42 For I hungered, and ye gave Me no meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave Me no drink;

Sunday observance will be enforced. It is the Mark of the Beast. Just because you refuse to believe that,, doesn't make it false.

What I have said, will come to pass. The question for you is simple: When you see that sunday observance is about to be made a law,,, what will you do? Especially since you have been warned?

If you side-step my question,, then I would have to say, that more than likely,, you will choose Satan and his spurious false sabbath, over Gods 7th Day Sabbath Commandment.

Stop your silly denomination preaching of division and claiming God in it.
The body of Christ is one.
You denied the blessings of Christ to those persecuted and even killed because of their faith in CHRIST, but you, a so called Christian in the USA don't even care with their suffering, yet even more you decreed them to HELL.
Simply WOW. I applaud your righteousness.

In Hebrew sabbath means to rest. God has made us a promise of rest but it is up to us to claim it. The sabbath is not a certain day of the week because Jesus Christ has become our sabbath. Christ is not the Sabbath any more than He is "thou shalt not kill". Christ is the Creator of the Sabbath...

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

As far as Heb 4:9...

Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

The word there for rest is Sabbaton, and yes it is the only time that word is used in the chapter, maybe that ought to be a tip off. The author (most likely Paul) is telling us that it has a different meaning that katapausis or katapauo used in the other verses. The word Sabbaton means a keeping of the Sabbath, it does NOT mean Christ is the Sabbath. Here is the Diaglott...

Heb 4:9 Therefore remains a keeping of a sabbath for the people of the God.

You can call it a space shuttle if you want, but the seventh day is still the Sabbath of God.

Yes or no?

Been through Rom 14 several times, Rom 14 is NOT about the Sabbath, it is about vegetarianism and fast days.

Been through Rom 14 several times, Rom 14 is NOT about the Sabbath, it is about vegetarianism and fast days.
really? including this part?
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord. Whether we live therefore or die, we are the Lord’s.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and arose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

A question then, do you think a Christian in Sudan who reject your denomination's theory but believe in Christ and then persecuted for his/her belief in Christ, going to hell according to you?
Yes or no?
That is a good question.

We are judged on the Light we recieve. Those who have died, while keeping Sunday,, will be in heaven.. God knows our hearts.

Many people have religiously kept Sunday, thinking they are keeping the Commandment of God. They believe in their hearts that they have honored God by keeping and observing the 1st day of the week. God knows this,, and there Worship is honorable before Him. God knows verywell that Satan has decieved the world concerning His Sabbath Commandment.

Martin Luther did not have Light concerning Gods Sabbath. If he did,, Luther would have made a huge deal over it. But he didn't.

We do now. We are to follow Jesus, whereever He may lead. The end is nearly upon us.

To your question:

God knows the heart. If you do not have a clue that the 7th Day is the Day you should be keeping,, then you have an excuse.

But,, after God warns everybody ( as you have now heard),, then you will be without an excuse once the Mark of the Beast is enforced.

I say this: By the time Sunday observance becomes a law. God will see to it, that everybody hears about His Sabbath!

It would be impossible for ANYBODY NOT TO KNOW!!! God shall see that EVERYBODY has been sufficiently warned of the Mark of the Beast.

Take you for example: You are sitting here listening to me warn you that one day Sunday observance will be enforced. If the time comes, and sunday is indeed enforced,,, and you remember our Conversation along with many others you have had, and you still ignore Gods Servants (me and others),, what excuse will you offer up Jesus?

He will tell you: Didn't I warn you thru my servants? Was My Sabbath not a topic for several years before the false sunday sabbath was enforced? What excuse will you offer up Jesus for ignoring His Law and those whom He placed in front of you, to warn you?

Those of us in God's family must stand firm. We cannot allow anyone to change our sacred scripture in any way. We cannot let anyone say Christ IS the Sabbath, for scripture does not say this.

We cannot let anyone say that scripture says that we are not to rest on the Sabbath for scripture does not say this.

We cannot say that scripture says that we are to rest seven days a week, for scripture says we are to work six days a week.

Just as scripture allows for divorce because of man's wickedness, scripture allows man to designate another day than the day God blessed as Sabbath. God did this when the gospel was sent to the pagans who were so used to Sunday worship.

Man can reason with scripture, using man logic, to make it say things other than it says. Scripture is not to be read with the logic college text books are read by. Scripture is specific. God is God, His word isn't to be tampered with that way.

lol this is how a denomination becomes a stumbling block to the Body of Christ.
follow this or else you go to hell.
did your denomination leader read 2 Colossians 16 and 17?
and Romans 14:5?

Baloney,, God never said to set His commands aside and take up other commands. Complete nonsense and lies!

I don't believe in luck, thanks for trying.
Please let your leader to read the book of acts chapter 15 as well.
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
29 that ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication. If ye keep yourselves from these things, ye shall do well. Fare ye well!”
