@Need2Know: if she honestly repented of her sins and dedicated her life to Christ, then yes.

Nope. Sentences should be carried out. If too many exceptions are made, legal authority will be made void. Exceptions start somewhere.

That and we have to consider the wave of prisoners who would falsely repent to get out of prison and do more things.

If she were to accept Christ and claim her actions were evil, we would have reason to rejoice. Prison systems need repentant Christians within their walls every bit as much as society needs them on the outside. Perhaps more so.

No. The punishment for a crime like this is death. The death penalty should have been carried out once found guilty. Which she was. Even though some one is sentenced to death, does not mean they should not repent and pray before the sentence is carried out. But we don't see justice for victims here. We she a serial murderer of children let free.

So the act is irrelevent really then. If an atheist done it you wouldn't be happy for her to be released. But If a Christian repented then you'd be fine?
