If Catholics at Nicea invented Sunday worship out of thin air, why did the protestants not go back to the jewish Sabbath?
Because the Protestants carried the Catholic tradition into their own. Same invalid point. Because something was or is practiced by anyone doesn't make it right.

"Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy"
"If you love me keep my commandmenys"
"Many say they know me but their actions are aganist me"
"On judgement day the book of laws was opened and people were judged according to what is in it"

MY QUESTION IS WHY ARE PEOPLE REJECTING THE LORDS WILL. WE CARRY OUR BAGS AND SAY WE ARE GOING TO CHURCH ON SUNDAY. SATURDAY HAS NOW BECOME A DAY OF PARTING AND SOCIAL EVENS. WHY? Someone please answer.
I'm curious as to why you posted this in the first place. Are you making a statement that everyone who does not worship on Saturday is rejecting God's will, and through their defiance they're going to go to hell? If so, there just went about 99% of the US Christian population.

Let's not forget that 1% that is usually worshiping on Saturday on the Roman calendar, not the Jewish one that is breaking all the rest of the Sabbath laws. In the same estimation, they are defiant and are going to hell also.

That is a gross mischaracterization of grace that borderlines on blasphemy.
You'd better read Christ's words. The Pharisees said Christ was demon possessed and their father was the devil. Do you think I care what you accuse me of when you clearly care nothing about what Christ actually taught? Maybe I should consider your accusation a compliment given the positions you support.

I'm not sure what you mean by the Jewish calendar. The seventh day falls on Saturday for them as well as for us. Yes, they missed the big one, recognizing Christ, which loses the whole ship, I'll admit. As for everyone going to hell if they worship on Sunday on not on Saturday. I personally absolutely do not think so. God judges the heart. I know many wonderful Christians that keep Sunday as their sabbath. However, I very much wonder if this is going to become a big issue at some point in time, especially since God Himself said the sabbath law kept by His people ON THE SEVENTH DAY OF EACH WEEK signified that their God is the creator. Again, that seems very significant to me. I just think it's good for all Christians to address this while they still have that option, because it may well become extremely important at some point in time. Wouldn't you really wonder if everyone was forced to keep sabbath on Sunday at some point in time?

Uh, Paul said that he needed the Law to understand what sin is...

Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

So I guess if it was good enough for Paul...
Jonah 4:11And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?”

When you were a child, would you had known what is sin is without the word? And now you know what is unlawful behaviors towards the treatment of others, even including God. And if you do away from sinful acts, you are showing love and respect towards God and your neighbors. Like for an instance, if you covet your neighbors wife, you are disrespecting God because you are desiring to be with someone or thing as something of value, rather to be with God; and you are unveiling your neighbors wife and that is disrespectful towards your neighbor.

You did not read my post where I showed you a few statements by early church leaders that clearly said the church worships on Sunday?

All Constantine did was to gather and codify the Christians. Sunday worship was already a fact, long before Nicea.
All were simply secular sources, the church fathers also declared that the Catholic church was the sole authority for changing the day.

Again, it is all according to whom you choose to follow.

They did not invent it and that is not what I said. What I said is that it was made rule by the council of Nicea. Why did the protestants just accept the enforcement of Sunday? Why did they accept the enforcement of Ishtar and xmas?

You tell me. I keep the Sabbath and the Feasts of the Lord, not the days of the Catholic dhurch.

Just as a point, this is the first post I have seen about sending anyone to hell.

If you want to believe in the big bad ugly mean catholic church which forced all good Christians to worship on Sunday and other works of catholic bashing fiction, go ahead.

I posted statements by earlier church leaders that the church was already worshipping on Sunday hundreds of years before Constantine.

Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

I noticed that the reviling has come from one poster only.

10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.
Funny thing about Jewish law. You must accept all of it or you are guilty of it all.

Your ignorance is showing, there is no such thing as a "Jewish" Sabbath...

Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exo 31:12 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Exo 31:13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you.

Lev 19:3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I am the LORD your God.

Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Lev 23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Lev 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
Lev 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.

And yes, I keep the annual Holydays as well as the weekly Sabbath.

Hmmm, you seem to have a problem with the Jews. Oh, wait...

Heb 7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

Stephen, for me? Keeping sabbath on the 7th day of the week is (for me) about doing what God desires most from me-- because and only because I love Him and wish to give Him my best. This has nothing to do with punishment. Now, I realize that sounds like I'm saying that those that don't keep the 7th day sabbath don't love God and don't wish to give Him their best, but I'm just plain not saying that. However, I'm sure you'd agree that our walk with God is personal. We must reason out for ourselves what seems the best choice when it comes to giving God our best. And again, for me? Keeping sabbath on the 7th day of the week makes the most sense to me right now. I do it because I believe (based on scripture) that God sanctified it as the day to keep by His people (which now includes everyone that comes to Him) because it represents that He is our God, the creator who made everything in 6 days and rested upon the 7th. I just see it as that sign which I view as distinctly important. It sets us apart from everyone else, as in, all other belief systems or the lack thereof.

Jewish mitzvot(laws) come from the Jewish scriptures. The Concept of Sabbath comes from the jewish scriptures. Jewish dietary law comes from Jewish scriptures.

You can pretend the Sabbath is not jewish if you want to but they are not greek, egyptian, polish or martian either.
