The world can be pretty dumb. They don't fear God and they live life ruled by their emotions and primal desires. Their philosophy about life comes out sometimes in their song lyrics and you can see for yourself how twisted and foolish the world's thinking is compared to the Bible's wisdom.

Here are some of the "Dumbest worldly lyrics" I've heard while the radio plays at work- if you know of any post yours below so I can have a laugh when I hear it on the radio.

"If you feel it, let it happen"
- Britney Spears

Is that right Britney?

So if I feel like cheating on my wife, I should just let it happen?

If I feel tempted to steal from work, I should just let it happen?

What if someone feels like punching someone else, should they just let it happen?

The Christian view: A wise woman called Joyce Meyer once said something like "If you are going to live your life based on your emotions you might as well just stamp "VOID" on your life right now.

I'm on the right track: I was born this way
- Lady Gaga

Oh, so whatever we are born with is the "Right track"?

Well, now that we know that alcoholism might actually be genetic, I guess that means that all alcoholics are on the right track baby, they were born that way!

So when your alcoholic dad goes into a rage and overturns the bookshelf and beats into your mother, don't yell at him! Just turn on the song and celebrate with him! He's just walking down the track he was born on!

Lady Gaga, in this song is trying to say that because she was born with the desire to have sex with people of the same gender, that therefore she is on the right track if she engages in that behavior.

Well Lady Gaga, predators are also born with twisted, sinful desires- I bet they LOVE your song and the way it reinforces that their sick, twisted practices aren't so bad- after-all, they were born that way! They didn't CHOOSE to be sickos, just like you didn't choose to be gay! So according to you they are born that way so therefore they are on the right track. Twisted.

The Christian view: We are all born on the WRONG track- sin. We ALL desire sin from a young age. Should we just ENGAGE IN SIN because we were born with that desire? NO! We should fight our evil nature, resist sin and do good- whether we feel like it or not- whether we are "born this way" or not!

I rape and pillage your village, women and children
Jay-Z

This one's not even funny stupid. It's just sick, and sad that THIS is the kind of garbage getting streamed into the ears of today's youth.

So apparently Jay-z rapes women and children, according to his own words?

It's not such a big surprise that he would say this- this is the guy who called himself "hov", short for "Jehovah". Yeah, he blasphemously takes God's name for himself. He's a fan of a famous satanists and even wears clothes with a slogan "do what thou wilt", from the church of satan on it- but don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself.

If it makes you happy, it can't be that bad
- Sheryl Crow

Well... not even sure what to say about this one. Gassing Jews seemed to make Hitler pretty happy, I guess that means it can't be that bad?

I'll add more as I hear them/think of them. Feel free to add your own below

I have one: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA- OOOOOOOOOO_AAAAAAAAAA-BBBBBB-CCCC-DDD. They are practicing the alphabet, sorta.

Glad to see someone else finally gets the whole Mainstream lyrics trend that needs to die soon. Who misses this, really?

Ok here is one the I want to be deleted from Itunes immediately!

"I’m a guy
A guy who seems calm but plays when he plays
A guy who goes completely crazy when the right time comes
A guy who has bulging ideas rather than muscles
That kind of guy "

Yeah its Gangnam Style. "Plays when he Plays?" What kind of Guy, I don't get it? Ok if I took a lucky guess its about banging every girl in sight, but your a nice guy? Lord please come soon!

You know what I think is even more ridiculous? Contemporary Christian music artists who sing about God but admittedly scan the crowd during concerts for girls that would be fun to take home or come out of the closet. Did you know that Marlyn Manson originally started out as a seminary student at Bob Jones University? Though his music and appearance border on grotesque, he does encourage some conservative agendas.

I know about this and he is anti-christian because he hates Christians and their stupidity. Hypocrisy leads people away.

I think the people who leave because of hypocrisy are the ones being silly.

Leaving the faith because some Christians do stupid things is as silly as not supporting your favorite baseball team because you saw some of their fans doing something dumb.

It's like if you were a big fan of the Yankees, but then you saw some fans doing something stupid and you decided "Now I hate the Yankees! Now I think they're not a good baseball team!"

The fans have no relevance as to the quality of the actual team. In the same way, it doesn't matter how stupid or hypocritical Christians are, it has no effect on how good Jesus was or how true it is that God exists. In fact, Christians being hypocritical just confirms what the Bible teaches they will be like: That ALL have sinned and fallen short (Romans 3:23) that no-one does good, not one (Romans 3:10) and that "what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do" - Romans 7:15.

(assuming you have a job or have ever had one) -- if you see that your coworkers are doing something the wrong way, do you up and quit? then you were never a good employee.
a good employee does his own work the right way, and if the people doing work beside him are doing wrong, he tries to correct them. if he doesn't have authority to make them work they way they ought to work, he goes to his supervisor or someone else with the right authority and brings this to their attention.
a worker doesn't always know the plans of the engineer; sometimes your fellow workers do things that don't make sense to you, but they are right in the eyes of the one who runs the business.

we have one bossman, a Jewish Carpenter. we have supervisors under Him, pastors, deacons, elders, teachers -- if you walk away from the work of God at the first sign that someone else in your perception isn't doing their job well, maybe it is the case that your employer will think hiring you in the first place wasn't a good idea.

Fine China by Chris Brown.

Baby, does he do it for you?
When he’s finished, does he step back and adore you?
I just gotta know 'cause your time is money and I won’t let him waste it
Oh no no

Baby, just go with it
'Cause when you're with me I can’t explain it
It’s just different
We can take it slow or act like you're my girl, let’s skip the basics, whoa, no.

During the whole song, he's tempting this girl who's already dating or married to someone else to have sex with him. And girls my age listen to this song like it's so attractive! HELLO?! Really?

maybe the worst part of this is that you can expect it to be on the next issue of "Kidz Bop" so that not just girls your age, but 10 years younger will be singing it too!

I'm surprised no one has said anything about Miley's song "We can't stop".. That is a terrible influence on people..
"It’s our party we can do what we wantIt’s our party we can say what we want
It’s our party we can love who we want
We can kiss who we want
We can see who we want (2x)

Red cups and sweaty bodies everywhere
Hands in the air like we don’t care
Cause we came to have so much fun now
Bet somebody here might get some now"
Hmm..lots of sex going on.. Pretty much saying do what you want and don't worry the future or consequences, just do what you want.

"And everyone in line in the bathroom
Trying to get a line in the bathroom"
Now it has escalated to doing drugs, this song is such an awesome influence on young kids.

And Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines is another worldly song..
"OK now he was close, tried to domesticate you
But you're an animal, baby, it's in your nature
Just let me liberate you
Hey, hey, hey
You don't need no papers
Hey, hey, hey
That man is not your maker"
so marriage means nothing to this man..

"Talk about getting blasted
I hate these blurred lines
..
..
But you're a good girl
The way you grab me
Must wanna get nasty

Go ahead, get at me"
More about sex...

and this is why modern pop/r&b/rap is the worst music in the world. ITs vapid, and shallow, and the lyrics lack any sort of writing talent. But then consumers are dumb enough to enjoy it. Christian music isn't much better, just write generic lyrics about God being awesome and set it to some catchy guitar chords and your the next david crowder/hillsong/casting crowns.

Guess this is why I stick with what I listen to.

Wow, i never really listened to those but what about this one. It's straight from Lucifer's lair I tell you -

7am, waking up in the morning
Gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs
Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal
Seein’ everything, the time is goin’
Tickin’ on and on, everybody’s rushin’
Gotta get down to the bus stop
Gotta catch my bus, I see my friends (My friends)

Kickin’ in the front seat
Sittin’ in the back seat
Gotta make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Tonight I want all of you tonight
Give me everything tonight
For all we know we might not get tomorrow
Let's do it tonight
-Neyo/Pitbull

What he's trying to say: Basically he's saying that "You should have sex with me tonight because for all you know you're going to die tomorrow."

First of all, if you are going to die tomorrow, the last thing you want to do is fall into sexual sin the night before you face God on judgement day.

But imagine if we applied this chain of thought to other areas of our lives. "Might as well spend all my savings tonight... cos for all I know, I might not get tomorrow!"

In fact if you are in school or work, you might as well quit and go spend all your money on instant gratification right now because, for all you know, you might not get tomorrow.

This is just another example of how worldly people try to create "plausible deniability" to engage in sin. In other words, they come up with silly justifications in order to engage in sins they desire such as sex outside of marriage.

I feel sorry for anyone who gave in to their carnal desires and fell for a silly excuse like "we might not get tomorrow, so do it with me tongiht". Noone really believes that that is a good reason to have sex, they just use it to justify engaging in the sin they are already lusting for.

They're choosing sexual sin over God Himself and sadly, it doesn't live up to the fantasies in their head, in reality they end up having to pick up the broken pieces of deep emotional issues, possible pregnancies and possible STDs- all with someone who will never love them, care for them or commit to them in marriage.

"Same Love"
(with Ryan Lewis)
(feat. Mary Lambert)

When I was in the third grade I thought that I was gay,
'Cause I could draw, my uncle was, and I kept my room straight.
I told my mom, tears rushing down my face
She's like "Ben you've loved girls since before pre-k, trippin' "
Yeah, I guess she had a point, didn't she?
Bunch of stereotypes all in my head.
I remember doing the math like, "Yeah, I'm good at little league"
A preconceived idea of what it all meant
For those that liked the same sex
Had the characteristics
The right wing conservatives think it's a decision
And you can be cured with some treatment and religion
Man-made rewiring of a predisposition
Playing God, aw nah here we go
America the brave still fears what we don't know
And God loves all his children, is somehow forgotten
But we paraphrase a book written thirty-five-hundred years ago
I don't know

And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
My love
My love
My love
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm

If I was gay, I would think hip-hop hates me
Have you read the YouTube comments lately?
"Man, that's gay" gets dropped on the daily
We become so numb to what we're saying
A culture founded from oppression
Yet we don't have acceptance for 'em
Call each other faggots behind the keys of a message board
A word rooted in hate, yet our genre still ignores it
Gay is synonymous with the lesser
It's the same hate that's caused wars from religion
Gender to skin color, the complexion of your pigment
The same fight that led people to walk outs and sit ins
It's human rights for everybody, there is no difference!
Live on and be yourself
When I was at church they taught me something else
If you preach hate at the service those words aren't anointed
That holy water that you soak in has been poisoned
When everyone else is more comfortable remaining voiceless
Rather than fighting for humans that have had their rights stolen
I might not be the same, but that's not important
No freedom till we're equal, damn right I support it

(I don't know)

And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
My love
My love
My love
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm

We press play, don't press pause
Progress, march on
With the veil over our eyes
We turn our back on the cause
Till the day that my uncles can be united by law
When kids are walking 'round the hallway plagued by pain in their heart
A world so hateful some would rather die than be who they are
And a certificate on paper isn't gonna solve it all
But it's a damn good place to start
No law is gonna change us
We have to change us
Whatever God you believe in
We come from the same one
Strip away the fear
Underneath it's all the same love
About time that we raised up... sex

And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
My love
My love
My love
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm
She keeps me warm

Lustra - Scotty Doesn't Know

"Cause Scotty doesn't know,
Scotty doesn't know,
Scotty doesn't know,
Scotty doesn't know.
So don't tell Scotty.
Scotty doesn't knoooooow....
DON'T TELL SCOTTY!

I can't believe he's so trusting,
While I'm right behind you thrusting.

Fionna's got him on the phone,
and she's trying not to moan.
It's a three way call,
and he knows nothing.

.......

The parking lot, why not?
It's so cool when you're on top.
His front lawn, in the snow.
Laughing so hard, cuz...

Scotty doesn't know,
Scotty doesn't know.

I did her on his birthday."

SOMEONE TELL SCOTTY!!!
This song makes me angry. Women do this to guys who truly love them and they think its funny to hurt them like that. And if Scotty is a jerk, instead of living in a lie, why wouldn't you just leave him?! This is why I stopped listening to this junk. Plus, it is super annoying! Worthless songs tend to repeat the same phrase over and over again with horrible voices that make you want to Tear your hair out! When Y'shua comes back I am going to enjoy watching Him tear down that empire. Our world calls it lord, but He will show them. You can not spit in GOD's face and get away with it!

This whole song<<<<<<<<
There is actually some truth in this song. Christians really do have to watch what the say to or about those who are wallowing in their sin. We are supposed to be showing them who GOD is in the way that we can, but if we are not moving with the Love of GOD, but with our own judgement then we are actually pushing them away. We are here to guide and discern not to judge and put those who have been pushed around enough by this world down.

That whole song basically says that homosexuality is okay and natural, that preaching that homosexuality is wrong is "hateful" and that we should approve gay marriage. It also talks about how God loves everyone... which is true! But he is also a stern & just God. Christianity is not all rainbows and butterflies.. we don't get to keep sinning as always after asking for repentance.. we're supposed to strive to change and be more Christ like. (But everyone only wants to talk about the loving God because then everything they do will be okay because "God is love") It also seems to imply at the end that every/any religion is okay.

I'm sorry... but none of those ideas line up with the doctrine I've been taught.
