ELLEN g wHITE WAS A FALSE PROPHET AND HER FOLLOWERS ARE FOOLS
AND IF YOU WERE HONEST YOU WOULD ADMIT TO BEING A STOOGE FOR THE HERETICAL SDAS
The world will agree with you. There will be no shortage of people who will side with you.

the bible warns that there will be many false teachers in the last days...so in a way this heretical sabbath keeping movement -is- a fulfillment of prophecy...
Why say it is heretical when even the disciples of Jesus kept the Sabbath? What's heretical is teaching man to sin and break God's law as if it is totally okay. "Sin is the transgression of the law"- 1 john 3:4.
Let me ask you a question:
Was isaiah a false teacher? Did you know that isaiah talked about heaven, and in heaven we would be keeping the Sabbath? "And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. -Isaiah 66:23" please i begg you. Do a study on the Ten commandments. Jesus said not a word of the law would fail, and it is easier for heaven and earth to fail than the Law. How could Jesus us following Jesus be a fulfillment of the prophecy that false teachers would arise? How's that my fault if you ignore Jesus' statement that His mission and purpose to earth was not to destroy the Law? Matthew 5:17-19.

Coocaw. I have made it plain. That you have no authority from the Holy Bible to break God's Law. In heaven you will be keeping the Sabbath. When you go there it will be a shock to you. But man, the Bible says tha wages of sin is death - romans 6:23. You won't even be in heaven if you continue in the path of disobedience.

jesus' disciples omitted sabbath keeping from their advice to gentile christians...
paul called the sabbath a shadow...
jesus never commanded anyone to keep the sabbath even as he reiterated the rest of the commandments...
the bible even says flat out that jesus broke the sabbath...

sabbath keeping for christians is not a biblical doctrine...and historically every church that teaches it has either adopted serious heresy or entirely lapsed into judaism...it is a 'red flag' for a spirit of confusion...

by this logic christians would still have to follow every bit of the law...so when is the last time you offered an animal sacrifice?
No. We talk about ten commandments. In no way am i mentioning the sacrifices. It was Jesus who said in Revelation 22:14 "blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right into the tree of life."

oh and about isaiah 66:23...

'from one new moon to another' is like saying 'month after month'
'from one sabbath to another' is like saying 'week after week'

isaiah's mention of new moons and sabbaths are just timekeeping conventions...he isn't saying they will be observed in heaven...

in fact he cannot be referring to heavenly sabbath keeping because the time period 'from one sabbath to another' would also include the days in between and not just the sabbaths...what isaiah is really talking about is continual worship...

How does this theory of yours does not make you see that Jesus' purpose on earth was not to destroy the law in matthew 5:17-19. Basic Bible fact: God does not make mistakes, nor does His word contradict itself. Paul who you assume is saying the sabbath is a shadow, is the same one that said in Hebrews chapter 4 that Christians should enter into that rest. And those that enter this rest, cease from work as God did at the foundation of the world. Hebrews 4. Take it as it is. Not saying that Jesus is Sabbath. Its talking about the seventh day. The sabbaths who were a shadow were not the seventh day Sabbaths. In the book of leviticus jews were given other sabbaths that were feast days on a set time and date. As for Sabbath which God did from the beginning of the world, that's going to rest for eternity. As isaiah prophesied, in heaven we will be keeping the Sabbath.

the passage you quoted at me said 'the law'...not 'ten commandments'...

'bait and switch' is a known dishonest debating tactic...

either account for the passage you quoted -as written- or admit that you don't know what it means...

Ellen White wrote many things about the Mark of the Beast. I have posted this before, but folks need to understand that she wrote this passage over 100 years ago:

"The worshipers of God will be especially distinguished by their regard for the fouth commandment, since this is the sign of God's creative power and the witness to His claim upon man's reverence and homage."

"The wicked will be distinguished by their efforts to tear down the Creator's memorial and to exalt the institution of Rome."

"In the issue of the conflict, all Christiandom will be divided into two great classes, those who kep the Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, and those who worship the beast and his image and recieve his mark."

"Although church and state will unite their power to compell all, 'both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,' to recieve the mark of the beast, yet the people of God will not recieve it."

All can see,, anytime the subject of the Commandments or Sabbath/sunday debates arise on CC,, the Christians are immedietly divided!

Sister Ellen White spoke of this dividing event over 100 years ago!

We are here daily, talking about these things.... I assure you all,,, the Sabbath debate will not be isolated to Christianchat.

This debate will make the world stage.

How is it not the pope when he fulfills all prophecies? If you don't take the mark, you will be prevented from buying and selling. We are headed to a cashless society.

because it is not the pope. it is the head of the roman empire. who rules the world. this is not the pope.

The pope is the harlot, which the beast will destroy before he commits the abomination. because the pope ( at least having some knowledge of the word of God ) would then KNOW who he was. and he has enough power in the world to stop him.

No money = no work = what your claiming is false. that is ALL we need to know.

paul calls the following things shadows...
a festival
a new moon
sabbath days

since paul already mentioned the festivals or feast days...the sabbath days he is referring to cannot be those same feast days...

that would be like saying 'americans celebrate independence day and thanksgiving and the fourth of july'

it is very obvious that paul -is- including the saturday sabbath in his list of shadows...in fact paul even puts them in a logical order...yearly festivals...monthly new moons...weekly sabbath days...

But one of the days is the Sabbath. Isaiah knows what day is the Sabbath. And he knows its not the first!
so saturday will still exist...all that tells us is that the week won't be shortened to less than seven days...it says nothing about whether or not the sabbath will actually be observed...

Sabbath day.

No work, period. a day of rest.

Those of you who claim the church has made Sunday the new sabbath do not even understand what it is. People work on sunday. The pastor WORKS to teach and get ready. The teachers LABOR to teach sunday school and deal with kids. People LABOR to get up, and go to their church service. and other things.

WE TAKE SATURDAY AS A DAY OF REST. You people who claim we changed it to sunday are breaking it yourself. YOUR LABORING ON SATURDAY.

The sabbath was NEVER meant to be a day of worship. it was meant to be a day of rest.

so stop being hypocrites. you who claim we break the law when it is you who are breaking it. Like the jews broke it.

You will probably not get a response. they do not believe the law was fulfilled in Christ. they think we must still fulfill it or we can not be saved (not knowing or understanding we not only can;t fulfill it, we never will be able to fulfill it) . they are modern day pharisees.

titus 3:10-11..."But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and strife and disputes about the Law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. Reject a factious man after a first and second warning, knowing that such a man is perverted and is sinning, being self-condemned."

sabbath keeping for christians is not a biblical doctrine...and historically every church that teaches it has either adopted serious heresy or entirely lapsed into judaism...it is a 'red flag' for a spirit of confusion...
And yet we read...

Heb 4:9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

for rest here is Sabbatismos and means a keeping of the Sabbath.

The Diaglott has it...

Heb 4:9 Therefore remains a keeping of a sabbath for the people of the God.

Let's see what Paul did in Antioch (a Gentile city)....

Act 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.
Act 13:43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
Act 13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Now why didn't Paul tell these Gentiles that Sunday was now the day? Why did he continue to teach weekly on the Sabbath to these Gentiles?

How about in Philippi (Another Genitle city)...

Act 16:12 And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.
Act 16:13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

Again, why didn't Paul instruct these folks about Sunday instead of preaching to them on the Sabbath?

What was Paul's manner?

Act 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

Why wasn't his manner to reason with them on Sunday. If Sunday was the day, why didn't Paul set the example? Why did he continue on the Sabbath?

Act 18:1 After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;

Act 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

Here he is again in a Gentile city (Corinth) persuading Jews and Gentiles. Why didn't he EVER set anybody straight about the Sabbath being done away?

BECAUSE IT WAS NEVER DONE AWAY.

Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

People will not only keep the Sabbath, they will keep the Feast Days...

Zec 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
Zec 14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Zec 14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
