You are a confused person. you and josh are both decieved.

You two people,,, are the first two people that I ever ran across, that believes Gods 4th Commandment means from the time the sun comes to the time the sun goes down,, one must be steady working for the the first 6 days of the week..... Time to lean, time to clean eh...

What more can a person say to someone like you? You are a lost pup. You and josh are as decieved as anybody i have ever seen in my life. You both have to be completely out of your minds and posessed to believe that God intended that man is work constantly from the time the sun comes up to it's going down six days a week, all of his life....

Tell me,,, why aren't you two scholars down at the hospital making people get out of those hospital beds and get to work?

Why aren't you explaining to a man that is paralyzed that because he can't work during the day,, he is sinning.

How about the person the works 3rd shift? Isn't he sinning,, when he goes home and sleeps during the daylight hours?

Need I express the ignorance of your theology anymore?

LOL.

Because We aren't under Law. We are under Grace. You desire to be under Law, do you know what it says?

Apparently not.

I'll show you again.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

If you are going to be under Law that is the bar that is set for you.

There is another way, a better way. I can tell you all about it when you are ready.

This is very strange. Christ says "If you love Me keep My commandments" and you accuse anyone who does that (by the grace of God) of being a legalist or of being self-righteous.

Once again, strange and bogus reasoning.

Its not so strange. You are just confused between His Commandments and the 10 Commandments given through Moses.

John 14:15-18
[SUP]15 [/SUP]If ye love me, keep my commandments. [SUP]16 [/SUP]And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

The Lord Jesus has a few other commandments as well.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

about to pull my hair out... wait a second are you reading the same thing here or something different, to end this all i can say is lets see what happens in the end.. you just can't see the truth, first of all you can't keep the commandments perfectly but somehow because you keep the sabbath the rest doesn't matter? 2ndly if this is the true commandment we must follow to sghow our love for god then the rest are irrelevant is that what you are telling me? so that means we just keep those commandments and completely forget about the rest, lol your pride has totally blinded you from the truth it's sad... but hey what can i say it's the last days these things must happen 3 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2 Timothy 3:1-5

You do realized in your post #187 romans 13:8-10 these scripture are quoting pointing towards the ten commandments yes ? Now what i don't understand, if someone decides to keep the sabbath sacred to God there should not be a problem here yes? perhaps Romans 14:5 can help, not everyone here is SDA , We all belive Jesus Christ is Lord and we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.

Love is the fullfillment of the Law, Instead of calling others prideful ,why not treat your brother and sister in Christ with his love respecting one another. If you have knowledge in the scripture gladly share it ,but be aware of how you intend to share you views ; good advice always with gentleness God bless .

I LOVE YOU BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU GOING DOWN THE WRONG ROAD. and you misinterpreted what this is saying here let me show you, 8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
[h=3]Romans 13:8-10 FOR THIS LOVE YOU HAVE FOR YOUR neighbor ( BECAUSE YOU LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR) hope it made sense to you.[/h]

Exodus 31:18 KJV
(18) And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
Revelation 11:19 KJV
(19) And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Revelation 15:5 KJV
(5) And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

The tables of testimony are the 10 commandments. Why are the 10 commandments mentioned in the Book of Revelation? They are mentioned as being in heaven, the tabernacle on earth was a copy the original is in heaven. That means the sabbath of the Lord is in there in the book of Revelation. The sabbath of the Lord is written in heaven and seen by John in vision.

Revelation 14:12 KJV

(12) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

So reading the context what are the commandments of God in this text?

To put all of God in one paragraph is really!! something. The night I could finally understand His voice was not really something I did, I had been looking for him. God did it. Then God didn't tell me He was Christ, God said He was a spirit and created me and I belonged to Him.

I found out about grace and Christ's forgiveness, and God's principles for our world afterward, my spirit is still striving towards understanding.

I found that the theme of the entire bible, all 66 chapters, is God's desire for us to live with Him eternally. Ever since Adam we know of sin, are born with this knowledge, so sin stands in the way of our eternal life, and it is only through Christ that can be taken care of, so Christ is in all of the bible. But God and His desire for us is what the bible is about.

You would love to see Jesus and His Father have a falling out over Commands. Aint gonna happen son.. I'm not gonna call you grandpa,, cause your nearly young enough to be my son.

Listening to you,, one could walk away with the belief that Jesus is commanding people to disobey His father,, drop the 10 Commandments, take up another doctrine........How sad.

Homward,, it is thru the Grace of Jesus that we are able to keep His Commandments. God gives us the desire as well as the strength to obey Him and resist temptation. Would you agree with that?

We can't say we love God in the spirit,, and believe it's okay to be a hit-man for the Gambino Crime family while we reside in the flesh...do you agree with that?

So,, we are to control our thoughts and our flesh. Bring it under Control! Subdue both... I tell you,, if the thoughts are subdued,, the body will also come into subjection to the mind. You will still have battles,, but isn't temptation what we are to overcome?

One step further, stopping the fight by being dead to the flesh Spirit, did not Paul do this daily, if you think not re-read Phil 3, and being in God's Spirit 24/7 through the death.
Any fight that we have to do what is right is a war between flesh and Spirit, period, unless flesh is considered dead to God via the death of Christ. Is not Christ's death our death? So if so then his resurrected life is also for us.
Did Christ ever need to die fro himself, and then be raised for himself? No way, why because he was and is perfect.
So the death, burial, and resurrection was and is for us, to be our death to self and alive to God, by God raising us back to life the same as he did for Son already.
All power is in the cross, but one needs the whole cross, not just the death
God did it all and hiding in God one is safe and secure, not having to do any righteousness, for that one already has this righteousness of God.
You are still struggling, when it is finished and already done for you by God. Praying for you to see through

My friend, although I believe that God expects obedience, I have NEVER believed and NEVER said that obedience brings eternal life. I have always stated that it is a free gift from God, made possible by Jesus Christ. What I have said is that God is selective and does not give this marvelous gift of life to just anyone. He gives it to those who are obedient to Him. He already has one great disobedient Spirit and his followers to deal with, why would He want more?

You contradicted yourself.

What I have said is that God is selective and does not give this marvelous gift of life to just anyone. He gives it to those who are obedient to Him.[/QUOTE]

A free gift is free, no strings attached otherwise it is not free. Hope you see the talk out of two sides of your mouth, maybe on mistake, only you know.
But Brother free is free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 days after Easter last year (2010), the Holy Spirit woke me up at approximately 10 am from a sound sleep. I started praying and deeply thinking of Jesus suffering on the cross. I was in one of those deep prayful states where I was deeply moved thinking of how much He must love all of us, to suffer so much for all of us! That's when something happened and transformed my life totally! The Holy Spirit filled me up BIG TIME! All of a sudden, a sensed a Holy Presence in my bedroom and I felt this electrical real life force enter my body around my chest area... It slowly moved throughout my ENTIRE body from top of my head to the bottom of my toes... He would flow back and forth like an electrical current that was life changing, warm, cool breeze feeling all at the same time. I felt like I was 100% being sealed, regenerated, healed, loved unconditionally in a way we cannot comprehend here on Earth.
The feeling of immense love was so intense, I had tears of joy, repentance, love flowing down my checks the entire time. I just kept repeating, oh, I love you God, I love you Jesus, I love you, Mother Mary for being such a wonderful, nurturing Mother to Jesus when he came to Earth for us, yes, us, all of us! This continued for over 4 hours... And the entire time my husband slept peacefully, not making a sound, movement, nothing. There was no way I would wake him up, because I didn't want to miss a thing! It was like God was healing and regenerating every single cell inside my body! I must have been in need of a lot of healing, because the intense feelings I was so Blessed with of the filling of the Holy Spirit lasted for so long! I could literally, honestly describe it as a real living Holy Presence actually living INSIDE of my body!
Oh, it was the most amazing thing that has ever, ever happened to me! I could feel the Holy Spirit breathing inside of me... Like inside out feeling... Like waves of intense real unconditional love from God so real and strong, if He gave me even a drop stronger of his Love inside of me, my heart would give out or I would just explode from such a divine presence (of course, He always knows just how much each of us can handle!) I didn't know at the time it was the Holy Spirit Baptism or infilling.
The next day I couldn't get my hands on enough books. I wanted to learn what happened to me. I started researching on Internet... I met with my Priest, I was enraptures by God and totally in Love with Him and Jesus and The Holy Spirit from that point on!
Immediately the next day, my Mother and my Husband noticed a big positive change in me. I learned that The Holy Spirit never leaves us once He has sealed us. He guides me and stays with me. I'm still learning how to have a relationship where I can understand how to communicate better with Him for the Glory of God and Our Blessed Lord. I still feel him stirring inside of me with electrical liquid love I like to call it. The first few weeks after were the strongest when would feel Him. " this is a sister experience with the infilling "

THIS WAS MINE . i grew up in a christian home with christian family but u know how the flesh is want to be wild.. and just be lawless, but after like a few years ago after my father passed just got like out of control and didn't care anymore i didn't even cry at my father's funeral because of how angry i was but anyways months went by and this anger just grew more and more so i met some friends and started smoking to calm down... started partying to get away from that feeling became a hardcore drinker just so i would be away from reality, this went on for a few years until recently i started questioning myself.. what is the purpose for me being alive? why am i here i just don't understand then i started to feel guilty for the things i was doing but i was still doing it i actually wanted to stop but i didn't know how too.. anyways i still was questioning myself until i had a sleep over by a friend me and some other guys bought a large amount of weed...but anyways i started smoking it with them and then something hit me... it was a strange feeling never felt anything like that in my life it was like i felt like my soul had come out of me and i felt like nothing i felt soulless it's a weird thing to explain but that's the only way i can explain it but then i started to get scared in my mind and was wondering what was happening and started to freak out and was thinking was it that i miss the rapture and that i'm still here i just didn't know and then some weirds things started happening to me, my friend was actually in the lodge and i was sleeping over at his house with some other friends and he was playing some music.. and i'm not joking it was like i heard the devil said in the music " you have gone too far your soul is mine" and i didn't know if it was me or something interceding in me and started saying in my mind the devil is a liar i rebuke that in jesus name i, and i also saw in my mind like so much evil things were coming after me to get me but in my mind i also so my father i just can't explain it i'm doing the best i can but it was like he was protecting me from the evil that was trying to come and get me this continued for about 5 hours until morning immediately after that i said no, this can't end like this i went home and told my mother everything and began to cry in shame but she forgived me this was a sunday morning and i haven't went to church in like almost a year but i decided to go on that sunday morning, and why i got to this church the pastor was preaching on the subject " God wants to ignite somebody today" little did i know that this message was meant for me but anyways at the end of the service the pastor called people up to the altar for prayers i wasn't too sure weather to go or not but my mother took my hand and took me to the altar immediately the pastor came to me and started telling me stories about my life exact stories everysingle thing was spot on i never seen anything like that in my life he said that down in my heart i knew it was wrong and i was questioning myself about what i was doing which is the truth he told me about the friends that i've been hanging out with and some other stuff i never seen anything like that in my life after this happen my faith went up i had the desire to hear more and in the evening service i went back and he preached a similar message i can't remember the name of the service exactly but at the end the pastor call everyone to the altar and everyone was praying and he was saying just believe( i think can't remember this part) but i was trying so hard i was actually forcing myself to believe and have faith i tried so hard until it happen, i felt this burning sensation that ran straight through my body from my legs to my chest and it just stood there on my chest it was such a warm feeling it wasn't a harmful heat it just felt so warm and good and loving and i fell on the ground my body got so weak i couldn't help myself or force myself it was just like i was laying back in a bed i just feel back and started to wheep and when i got up i just found myself saying thank you god thank you god but i didn't know why i just kept saying thank you god thank you god and crying, not after this happening soon i went home i got this hunger feeling inside of my heart the kind of hunger as if you haven't eaten in a month or 2 years i just had this hunger inside to know more about god so i rushed to a bible was so excited to read it so i became reading it and watching sermons for hours , then i realised my life had completely been changed i couldn't stand to see the place messy i cleaned the entire house everyday, i told everyone on facebook and every person what god did for me, i felt so guilty for the sins i did that it made me cry when i think about it and ask myself how could you save a sinner like me god? i had this huge guilt on me for some time for that reason, and i actually can see when god was talking to me it was such an amazing thing and feeling when you know he is talking to you, the same night i ask myself how can i get to know you god? then my mother turned on the radio and immediately there was a sermon playing it had just started the topic was " how to get intimate with god" it was an overwhelming feeling because i know he was talking to me, but then some weeks past and i didn't know the cross i bear was so heavy at some times i would wheep in my bed and beg god to take me away so i don't have to feel this pain, but since this happen i never went back i can't i have been reborn my the grace of god! he gave me the courage to get rid of every in my life that isn't a benefit to me and praising my god so i deleted every friend i had out of my life even girls and because of this they came back to me and started to cuss me and said i'm crazy and alot of stuff, and it's such an amazing feeling knowing that every single thing in the bible is the truth such an amazing feeling, some time had passed and temptations and tribulations came, i got tempted so much that i gave into it a few times.. this began to eat me up inside i suffered from depression for days and questioning myself how can i love god and do something like this.. so i started to question my salvation and from this fear came i started to fear and from that i started to even question reality and was having anxiety attacks i was down for weeks because of this.. until i came across this scripture Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 and after seeing this it gave me the faith to believe and the anxiety and fear left me, well this is my testimony of my life so far after receiving the holy spirit

(YOU ASK)
what is the commandments of god? Also you say, I'm just curious what do you think the commandment of god is, we must keep to know we are doing the right thing :)

If you are a professing Christian recall, when Jesus was asked what is the greatest law/commandment he is quoted saying, "1, Love God with all (who is All) ones heart," & 2, Love thy neighbor, thy neighbor being parable to Jesus' story concerning the good Samaritan, (wasn't the Samaritans enemies with the Jews, still who treated the beat up Jew Godly/Christ like?)

Therefore, Jesus' 4 Love teachings, are the foundation teachings, that all professing Christians are to build on, judge all other teachings & teachers with/by!

The two laws of love and all the commandments are all about God's type of love found in 1Cor. 13:4-13 and no flesh Spirit can obey them perfectly, only can God and Christ showed this by his walk of 100% dependence on Father, that only God is good.
Now by Christ his death he can present you Holy, and does if one believes.
Colossians 1:22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—
This was done so one can receive new life by the resurrected Christ, and is why we are baptized for death
[h=3]Romans 6:4[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]4 [/SUP]We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

So we could by God be raised to new life the same as Christ has already been, here and now for each of us

[h=3]Romans 5:10[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

what does this have to do with keeping the commandments of god? so your trying to tell it's impossible to keep it perfectly is that true?

only through being born again are they kept, yet not by you, me or anyone else, rather by God through you, the same as it was and is for Christ

another testimony of how the holy spirit transformed an atheist when he was infilled [video=youtube;5XBbJl_49B4]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XBbJl_49B4[/video]

because you love him. you will keep it perfectly so what are you trying to tell me it's impossible to keep it perfectly right? yes or no question

Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

This was before the cross not after.
