Now see here!!! there are a lot of people out here trying not to be so judgmental about gays! it is not the straight community that keeps pushing the wrong buttons/issues. its simple!! it is the gay community that keeps pushing your unGodly agenda on the rest of us. you push/push/push until we are left no other choice but to push back!!! we all want a world that we all can live in peacefully, but you leave a Christian (who is under obligation in Christ) little choice but to tell you (no!!! you don't!!!!!!!!) sue the church????? how can you even think of such an un-Godly thing???? what next? sue God for setting the laws/sue Christ for being the Head of the Church???????? no/no/no/!!!!!! the Church is under the law of Christ/God and is not subject to mans law nor the modern day politically correct thing to do for modern man regardless of your tender little feelings. sue the church??? go to a judge or j.o.p. or vegas but leave the church alone!! you have just ticked me off and while im in this state of mind( of which you put me in) any love in me is in chains, if my reactions to your ridiculous intent is a sin then I will without shame (on this issue) proudly take my punishment from the Good Lord!!! what wil you take to him?? who are you seeking to please? (the Christ or yourself) I had to confess my sins (according to his law) then repent before he would forgive me!! how is it you don't have to???????? singed; kenj ( a confessed and repented sinner)

Its just militant homosexuals actively continuing the campaign to destroy Christianity and to enforce that homosexuality is right. Any normal person, including homosexuals would just go "oh well" and move on.

Its me kenj: adding to my own reply.( had a few hours to calm down now) sense my 1st. reply and I would like you to know im ashamed of my own anger over this issue but not what I wrote!! as a new comer I thought I would find a fellowship of knowledgeable/repented Christians and those trying to learn the Good Lords laws and ways and I have!! but I cant understand why anyone would join a Christian site like this one only to recklessly bring evil to a Christian chat site/attack the church/threaten a law suit against the church of witch Christ is the Head of. who 2000 yrs ago had been spit on/beaten/whipped/mocked/rejected/ and murdered for to save us from damnation/set and taught the laws that we ( all) fall under, healed the sick/the crippled/the blind/the deaf/raised the dead/sinned not/ and was without fault only to have the day come when a twisted thinking and acting sect come along with baggage in hand and (spit) on him again because it a new day???? his laws no longer apply???? his laws are now politically incorrect???? since when did this happen???? from childhood I was taught that God never changes so nether does his laws!! yes, I confess to being a sinner but only to God/Christ do I confess and in private!!! my sins are no one else business, this young mans sins are( none of my business) and in the last few hours I prayed for God to give him the same opportunity the Good lord gave me through the Holly Spirit to see my need to change, we are supposed to pray for sinners but not to hold on to their sins without change cause their different, so I did what is required of me as a Christian. the whole point is if you wrongfully attacking any church, or pastor who is in line with Gods laws with Christ as the head of the church you are attacking and spitting on Christ (again) I`ve heard it said that bad things happen/grow/continue when good people (do nothing) as I grew through life I`ve needed to be corrected at times, or does that not apply to this young man??? singed: kenj

gay people can believe in God too. Judging others is just as bad as a sin as homosexuality. No one can follow everything in the bible. Jesus loves everybody for who they are.

Who says gay people can believe in God?

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

If they know God, they know Him thru the Bible..

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

And we here, don't judge. We tell it straight based on what the Bible teaches us.

One day we will all see the wrath of god. I just pray to be worthy of his mercy.

Jesus does love everyone. You love your kids or family right? You want what you think is best for them yes? Jesus wants what's best for you and the bible says what he thinks is the right path for us but we try to make our own way.

Additional thing, gay people KNOW there is God but they DO NOT BELIEVE in God which means they DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE and DO NOT EXPERIENCE God.

In every conversation I've seen on the topic of legalizing gay marriage, all the atheists and gays have told us that the gays would never force churches to marry gays. So where are all those people now and why aren't they protesting against those who are trying to force churches to marry gays?

I've never supported nor understood Gay marriage. Simply because if I was a gay man I would want no part in the church because of how god and his people view and treat homosexuals.

It's hypocritical and baffles me.

There are several thousand judges in the U.S. and with that many judges you will find a few who are loose cannons that make all sorts of crazy rulings. People like this rich homosexual understand that very well and manipulate to get their cases in front of them.

After they get their favorable ruling from one of the few crazy judges, the case enters the appeals process. Normally that would be the end of such a case except the trend for an appeal courts is to uphold lower court rulings. If that happens in a radically leftist state which rules Christian churches have to violate their own religion and participate in homosexual weddings: it will go to the Supreme Court.

In such a case, the Supreme Court is highly unlikely to allow states to strip churches of their Constitutional protection. Myself, I don't see that happening.

In these evil last days; however, anything is possible. If the world turns upside down, genuine Christians will have to disobey government law that violates a genuine historically sound orthodox exegesis of God's Word just as Chinese Christians are already doing under "Phase II" of China's new state pogrom and certainly will once China implements "Phase III" to wipe out all Christians in China that don't conform with their state run Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) church system and go underground.

Genuine Christians will once again face persecution madness around the world at some point if the trend toward it continues and governments violate the human right of Christians to live out God's morality in their churches by instituting immoral government laws that carry the full force of government power (e.g. judicial authority, law enforcement, military force, prison industrial complex, etc...) which attempt to force them to.

I hope that doesn't happen. I hope China stands down from Phase II and never implements Phase III. I hope the U.S. Supreme Court does it's job and protects Christian churches from sexually immoral agitators that want to use government to strip Christian churches of their God-given morality (and therefore it is a human right) and Constitutional protection to continue practicing that same genuine Biblical morality without being put in a position where they have to disobey government to obey God.

We saw enough wholesale and severe persecution in the 20th century of godly Christian people behind the Iron Curtain and Bamboo Curtain when government decided to invalidate the God-given right of Christians and Christian churches to remain true to their historically sound genuine orthodox exegesis of scripture. Let's NOT relive it in the 21st century. Christians have a right to live out their Christianity in their churches.

Saying that all, of any one kind of people, believe one thing? That's called bigotry.

There is no such thing as a gay person. There are people who practice homosexuality.

The homosexual agenda is a strong one, but perverts usually are serious about their addictions.

Sexual perversion must have one thing to exist...more and more of it. This agenda is nothing more than their need to have as many partners as possible.

That's it

This applies to what is occurring in England, not the United States.
Unfortunately, for England, they do not have the protections FROM government that our constitution has accorded citizens in these United States of America in the First Amendment. (The First Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion.) In England, The monarch, also known as the Crown, is the head of state in England. It serves as the head of the judiciary, commander in chief of the armed forces, supreme governor of the Church of England, and Church of Scotland, and summons and dismisses Parliament and ministers of the cabinet. So, England is essentially ~stuck~ with any legislation regarding religion or relgious practices as all laws passed by parliament are regarded as constitutional.
What is interesting is this lawsuit followed almost IMMEDIATELY after the Queen of England gave her approval necessary for the final step in making same-sex marriage the law in England.
http://www.zenit.org/en/articles/queen-of-england-approves-same-sex-marriage-bill
Could the same thing occur in the United States? Absolutely - already has to a degree:
http://www.redstatereport.com/2012/01/gay-marriage-forced-on-churchs/
From the article: This is not only an example of out-of-control judges, who willfully withhold Constitutional rights from one group, usually Christian/Catholic groups while extending non-existent rights to other groups, usually gay or Muslim groups but it is also an example of how liberal rulings and laws become dominoes. Once a law is passed, gay marriage in this case, lawsuits are filed against organizations thought to be exempt, then one ruling against the organization is then used as precedence forcing all to be loyal to the law.
The Constitution of the United States says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in it regarding marriage and hence the ~courts~ have no legal precedence to rule on ANYTHING regarding religious practices aside from those that would be injurious to individuals or society as a whole. For example - human sacrifice. (Don't laugh):
http://www.abajournal.com/news/article/alito_supports_animal_cruelty_law_with_human_sacrifice_hypothetical/
The passage of DOMA and subsequent reversal by SCOTUS is merely a harbinger of what to expect in the future. With court(s) making up stuff up as they go, there will be eventually a national law allowing same-sex marriage which will over-ride individual states rights.
SO (INSERT SARCASM HERE), make sure in the upcoming 2014 elections an 2016 elections you DO NOT VOTE as obviously the current elected representatives and judges reflect the popular majority opinion supported by every christian in our great nation.

Kinda baffles me that the anti-christian homosexual community would want to get married in a christian church.

This is about promotion of the gay agenda, to have more partners but its also about getting government benefits for being married. I say, the preferred tax status for married people? Give it to everyone...the government does not need tax dollars anyways

I guess I'll be the first gay person to reply. I think they are wrong and I disagree with their decision to try to force any church to marry them. I think those of you jumping to conclusions and saying that this is what every gay person wants need to think before pushing the post button. Honestly, isn't that exactly why you get annoyed with gay people? You say they jump to conclusions and call you homophobic bigots and lump you together based on one extreme person? Are you not doing the same thing by lumping all gay people together by this couples example?

This is not in the US, rather the UK.

Using your logic we could also say there is no such thing as a straight person only those who practice heterosexuality. However, I beg to differ with your claim. I don't practice homosexuality nor do I practice heterosexuality, but I am still gay. I am attracted to other guys. That makes me gay. It really is no big deal though. I can live my life without hating me. I really think calling gay people perverts is going a step too far. Did you really have to resort to name calling? I won't deny the promiscuity within the gay community, but by you saying we have the need to have more and more sexual partners is bigotry by your definition. In your first statement you state "Saying that all, of any one kind of people, believe one thing is called bigotry" so you're calling yourself a bigot. I for one do not have any interest in having multiple partners. So if you would kindly stop being a bigot and stop resorting to name calling.

No, saying all homosexuals react in the same manner is bigotry. That all homosexuals believe the same.

Saying homosexuality is a sexual perversion is not name calling. Its fact. Its a perversion of the natural process of procreation. Its a moral perversion causing all manner of moral conflicts as all forms of sexual perversion do. I did not say gays were perverts. Their practices are.

You are not gay. I am not a liar either, even though I have lied. Homosexuality is a sin and only your free will can make that manifest itself in your life.

Is that not what you did by saying gay people just want multiple partners? That sounds like bigotry.

Okay, the act of having gay sex is a sexual perversion the initial attraction is not when I can not control my attractions. As I have said here multiple times, when you gain the ability to control your every attraction, thought, and desire tell the rest of us. It will make our lives a lot easier to live. As for the morality issue of homosexuality, there are multiple cultures in which people are raised in. Then within those cultures the people themselves are individuals meaning everyone has different morals, although it is obvious that the morals of some will be the same as others. Your argument of homosexuality being immoral is invalid when it is based solely on your own opinions and interpretations. Because morality is based on personal experiences, opinions, and interpretations it is pointless to discuss the morality of some subjects.

If you would please refer to the quote below you will see where you indirectly called gay people perverts.
The homosexual agenda is a strong one, but perverts usually are serious about their addictions.
Now I don't know how that is not calling gay people perverts. You basically call anyone that is apart of the "homosexual agenda" a pervert. Although, the way I interpreted your statement you meant it only towards the homosexuals themselves. Basically you called me a pervert. If not for my being gay then at least for my support of equality. Now I personally have no plans of being married, but that does not mean that I think it fair to keep gay people from marrying. Now as I said in my first post I think it is wrong for a gay couple to want to force a church to marry them, but I do not think it is right that a gay couple should be denied the right to marriage by the government, especially in the US.

You are not gay. I am not a liar either, even though I have lied. Homosexuality is a sin and only your free will can make that manifest itself in your life.
Riddle me this. What is a man who has only an attraction for other men?

I'm not saying this to bother anyone, but I'm a Satanist and even I see that there is something clearly wrong with this. Churches have a right to worship as they please. They should NOT have to be forced to carry out a ceremony that they do not agree with. That clearly violates their freedoms and rights. It would never fly here in the US. Respect to you all. Hopefully this doesn't work.

this is one of those 'told you so' moments...

many of us have argued that the real end goal of the 'gay marriage' agenda is to impose 'tolerance' of homosexuality on the churches by government coercion...and now a gay couple is trying to do just that...

so now it should be obvious...'gay marriage' is just a ploy to force the churches to accept the homosexual lifestyle...

I won't deny that there are some within the gay community who would like churches to be forced into marrying them, as this is a clear example of such, but there are also those who don't care about the churches and they just want the right to marry the person they love. It is unfair to lump those who want to force churches to marry them and those who do not care together. It is also unfair to decide the end goal of an "agenda" based on a couple people. I really don't know how many gay people any of you guys have talked to, but the ones I have talked with could care less what the church or anyone else thinks about them. They have the if you don't like me then it's your problem attitude.

you should know better than to think that a radical agenda is set by the community 'rank and file'...they are just being used by the leaders of their movement who dictate the agenda...
