what i have said, and what can be easily shown is that 'radical islam' (per muslim brotherhood; al quaeda etc) was created; funded and is maintained by the usual suspects. right out of think tanks and cartels right in london, ny and DC.

Historian Carroll Quigley claimed that the Round Table Groups were connected to a secret society, which South African diamond baron Cecil Rhodes is believed to have set up with similar goals. Rhodes was believed by some to have formed this secret society in his lifetime. This secret society is supposed to have been named the Society of the Elect.[7]

One of the puzzles surrounding this meeting is whether the "Society of the Elect" actually came into being. Carroll Quigley claims in Tragedy and Hope (1966) that Rhodes's "Society of the Elect" was not only "formally established" in 1891, although its first inception existed several years prior (1889), but that its "outer circle" known as the "Association of Helpers" was "later organised by Milner as the Round Table".[7]

In several of his wills, Rhodes left money for the continuation of the project. However in his later wills, Rhodes abandoned the idea and instead concentrated on what became the Rhodes scholarships, which enabled American, German and English scholars to study for free at Oxford University.[7]

I have this picture in my head of variousal Qaeda leaders sitting around a telephone having a good laugh after they decided to play a pratical joke on the USA, they know all telephone calls are monitored, so just make a few calls on unsecured lines etc and watch the response.

On a more serious side, if they know all it takes is a few calls back and forth "arranging" some kind of serious attack, then how many more times will they do this? Eventually after time it becomes like the story of the boy who called wolf, the US and other nations then ignores or down plays it, that is when they strike for real.

I agree that the west had a great degree of influence, but shouldn't Riyadh, Tehran, Damascus, etc, etc, etc take some responsibility? How about Mecca?

Berlin and Moscow also had their hands in the affair...

My opinion:
This is just a media blitz to keep al qaeda in the mind of people in western countries and keep the war machine against the innocent people of the world going, so that the basest of men can retain power, steal more of our rights,lands,natural resources and rob our individual pockets. Then we will be told of a "terrorist act" caused by al qaeda somewhere but orchestrated by western powers in reality, just like 911, the London bombings, the hunt for bin laden, the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, the overthrowing of Libya,Tunisia, Benghazi, the drone strikes killing innocent people in Pakistan and other middle eastern countries for being "suspected militants", and the rest of the crimes against humanity that these so called leaders orchestrate against us and humanity . Then after they stage another bombing or massacre you will hear something like "this is what we anticipated when we closed the embassies". We need to invade another middle eastern country (Egypt,Syria,Pakistan, Iran) so we can pretend we are looking for a "terrorist cell" that doesn't exist. Then after taking more lands, rights and lives from people, ......darn!... they narrowly escaped us yet again, just like Iraq & Afghanistan. I suppose these basest of men will continue to do this great evil until Christ returns to redeem us but they don't deceive me with their lies.

I'm inclined to agree with you here. We could have not helped the problem by pride and missteps in foreign policy, but there are just two many pieces in this particular conspiracy to make it go together logically.
