OK - here it is! The thread you've been waiting for! Vent all your frustrations here about the opposite sex. Let's keep all the venom and negativity HERE so that the rest of this forum can be a positive place of fellowship.

Some ideas for effective men-and-women-bashing:

1. Use absolutes, i.e. "Why is it that men always...?" or "Why do all women....?"

2. Write from the perspective that all men/all women are the kind of man/woman that ruined your life.

3. Focus on what you want in a relationship, leave out what you intend to give.

4. Back up your argument with secular scientific sounding data that has no direct connection to the point of your gripe.

5. If someone disagrees with you, be condescending and overly pious sounding as you point out that they misunderstood you, are being unreasonable, and that you are putting them on your "ignore" setting. You may want to get a fancy font to do this. I like "Book Antigua" in blue.

6. If the person who disagreed with you is offended, come back with "I'm sorry you took it that way." This is an excellent response as it gives you the appearance of being reasonable.

...............................................................................

5. Or -realize that we all are flawed, and though men and women were made by our Creator to be attracted to each other, we also drive each other crazy at times. Use this thread to laugh about our differences...and learn form each other.

So gripe. vent. laugh. love. heal.........GO!

She said she was bringing me jello when I was young and she never did. Now I cannot trust a woman.

One time a woman told me she liked pink the most.
Then another woman told me she liked red the most.
So two women had two different likes.
Taught me women aren't consistent.

One time a man in a white truck ran a stop sign and totaled my car. ALL MEN WHO DRIVE WHITE TRUCKS are not to be trusted on the road! Why do all men in white pickup-type vehicles want to crash into me?

I hear that's how you can tell a guy likes a girl.
When he totals her car with his white pickup truck.

That's an unfair generalization.

Leave pickup trucks out of this. We know where the real problem is.

Yes, it's the adult version of pulling the hair of the girl you like to show her you care.

I'm putting you on ignore.

You know what, that goes for everyone in this whole thread. Including myself.

I missed this thread.

Shoot this place could wind up being my new favorite place ever.

After I discovered that some people who just want the truth can't handle the truth without developing a victim complex.

And then there are those annoying people who don't understand that resolution comes through conflict. And just because people are arguing, it isn't necessarily evil or pernicious. Its how things have been solved for thousands of years. Telling us to stop fighting is just irritating to everyone.

We live in a sort of Post-Feminist Culture, where women expect preferential treatment in some arenas and equality in others. Masculinity is the Bad guy.

The claim is that men don't understand women.

Well women think men are simple, when in fact it is that women don't understand men.

Wait... adults aren't supposed to do that?

Why is it that all men always misunderstand what we say? But you know, I'll be the bigger gender and say I'm sorry you guys feel that way.

Here is the problems....

From Both sides and I happen to agree with points from both sides.

(warning PG-13 content)

Men not marrying? How deep does "the problem" go? - YouTube

She makes many valid points. I've often said on this site things that she's stated (sans the occasional cuss word).

What a man wants is important to me. What a man needs is important to me. Giving a man love and respect is important to me. However, I am a picky female. Not because I think there aren't men good enough for me, or the men who approach me aren't attractive. But instead, because of my past, I need to be friends first. I need to know him for more than 15 minutes before we start dating. I am willing to hang out and go get coffee and all that jazz. But I won't get into a relationship with someone who I don't know moderately well.

Now, I've been told that makes me "too much work". Maybe it does. Maybe I'm not worth the work. But unless Jesus shows up with the next man I meet with a flashing red sign that says, "Hey Aimes, this one.", I have to learn to trust a man a moderate amount before I will get into a relationship with him. Because maybe a man doesn't value me enough to get to know me, but you know what? I value me, and I refuse to be with somebody simply because I can.

Men are too feminine these days. A man should be manly.
