Her wound is far from being healed.

The Catholic Church today has very little influence given all the horrible
scandals that have plagued her in the last few decades. She is not out of
the woods yet. She has been in the wilderness (in obscurity) ever since
1798. Her wound will not be healed until every country on the globe shall
have made an image to the beast, beginning in the United States, by
exalting Sunday, the child of the papacy, and by enforcing her spurious
sabbath upon all and then the time will come when they will give the papacy
their power and authority. Then her wound will be healed, that is to say, then
she will have regain her former glory, regain her lost supremacy over the whole
world.

restraints now imposed by secular governments be removed

So what is it that restrains the papal church from regaining her
former power?

As long as the Constitution of the United States remains intact
in regard to freedom of conscience and religion, the papacy shall
be restrained and can never regain her former power. But the
day is coming when that restraint will be removed. This will be
achieved through the help of Apostate Protestantism and every
country on the globe will follow her example. This is how the
papacy shall regain her lost supremacy.

This is the sure word of prophecy to which we would be wise
to pay attention to.

Part 26 of THE ORDER OF LAST DAY EVENTS

It will become apparent as we plunge more deeply into the study of the order of last day events that the people of God are NOT particularly tested when the Sunday Law is first produced. The reason for this lies in the fact, that, at that time, they will be a people so few in number and of such minor consequence on the affairs of this world, that the powers that be will not even be concerned about them in the passing of this law. The Sunday law will be introduced as a measure on the part of the churches to secure to them a power to replace the power which they have lost in their turning away from the living God.

We shall also learn as we progress that the first measure taken against the people of God will NOT be persecution but will be argument. When this fails, then persecution will be generated against them, and when that fails they will be hauled up before the courts of the land. When that fails they will impose against them the buy and sell decree and when that fails ultimately will come the death decree.

So, then, the people of God do not find themselves faced with the ultimate test at the very moment when the Sunday law is passed. The key statement already given, shows that it is the result of the refusal on the part of the people of God to obey that law which brings the test upon them. And as we progress we shall also learn from the evidences of the prophetic word, that the refusal of the people of God is not going to be a passive thing. It will not only be a refusal on their part but it will also be an exposure under the mighty power of the Holy Spirit of the very evil of the thing which has been done by church and state.

We shall learn that the act of setting up the Image of the Beast, having caused the complete downfall of Babylon the Great, brings the world to the point where it is ripe to receive the destructive judgments of the seven last plagues. It is the point of tremendous crisis, and the Lord will not let the world perish without ONE FINAL WARNING, and a calling of all His true children to come out of Babylon the Great before it is forever too late.

Part 27 (LAST DAY EVENTS)

But it is the giving of the warning whereby the true nature of the movement afoot to unite the world in opposition to the government of God is fully exposed, which ENRAGES the world against the people of God and causes them to turn on them to destroy them unless they yield their peculiar faith and come into line with the rest of the world.

In other words, the great final test comes upon the people of God in consequence of their PROTEST against the forming of the Image to the Beast, not at the point when the Image is actually formed. This is to say then that the order of last day events in brief is as follows:

The Image is formed and Babylon's fall is complete. The people of God are filled with the power of the Latter Rain and go forth refusing to obey the laws of the land in respect to the Sunday law and at the some time exposing the whole plan of the world and of Satan. This turns the wrath of the devil on their heads, exerting tremendous pressure to have them yield their faith. This is the test which mounts in intensity till the ultimate pressure is reached under the death decree, some considerable time after the image is formed.

A careful study of Great Controversy 606-609 will make this fact very clear. Let us put this fact clearly into our minds that the great final test does not come at the point of time when the Image is set up, but much later as a consequence of the refusal on the part of the people of God to obey the Sunday law.

God has said, "The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God."

"Remember the Seventh day to keep it holy...."

But the man of sin says that Sunday, the first day of the week, is the sabbath of the Lord your God!

Try this physical exercise please. Put Ten apples in a tub full of water and hold all Ten under water at the same time using only your hands.
Is this possible? So it is the same with the letter of the Law as I am seeing you might be posting here or mixing the two Law and Grace.
Which can't be mixed either, like oil and water can't be mixed, can be stirred up and appear to mix as is what is done with Law and grace. No matter what when all is settled down they always separate.

no on says sunday is the sabbath...all i ever say or teach is that the 10 commandments was for the jews in the first place not the gentiles.. we only suppose to live in love when we accept jesus in our life i want you to ask yourself this question and be honest with yourself, are you able to keep the 10 commandments perfectly? if not ask yourself why.. why is it impossible to keep these laws perfectly and god said if we love him keep his commandments but why can't we or anyone keep them perfectly exact to what it says.. please ask yourself this and be honest with yourself the righteous isn't justified by any law my brother... because when we become righteous by god we are in love with him so much we wouldn't even want to hurt him... Part 28 (LAST DAY EVENTS)

We need now to turn a moment and determine a little more closely, if we can, the exact point of time when the buy and sell decree and the death decree appear.

Actually it is not possible to pin point the buy and sell decree beyond our being able to say it appears somewhere well on down the loud cry and sometime after the passing of the Sunday law. But we are able to pin point more accurately the position of the death decree in its relation to the order of last day events.

It is true that some people hold the view that the death decree will be made after the close of probation. There is, of course, no controversy over the fact that the date for its EXECUTION is placed after the close of probation, this date being the time coinciding with the fifth plague after the close of probation. This we shall later study.

But careful study reveals that the making of the death decree takes place just before the close of human probation. It takes place just before the judgment of the living, which, in turn, takes place just before the beginning of the time of Jacob's trouble.

Part 29 (LAST DAY EVENTS)

"Let the Son of deceit and false witness be entertained by a church that has had great light, great evidence, and that church will discard the message the Lord has sent, and receive the most unreasonable assertions and false suppositions and false theories. SATAN LAUGHS AT THEIR FOLLY; FOR HE KNOWS WHAT TRUTH IS." Testimonies to Ministers, 409.

This statement tells us very plainly that Satan knows what truth is. Men upon this earth are being deceived day by day. Many of them hold what they think to be the truth. Crisis and issues spring up in the professed church of God. Sides are taken and men think that they are standing stiffly for God's truth. They may well be deceived, but Satan is not deceived because ke knows what the truth is.

Satan has always been a very keen student of prophecy. When Jesus was about to appear the first time, he worked to make certain that the Jewish leaders did not understand the prophecies which so clearly foretold the nature of Christ's work and kingdom.

"Satan excited the evil passions of man in order to fasten his rule upon them. When God's written Word was given, Satan studied the propheties of the Savior's advent. From generation to generation he worked to blind the people to these prophecies, that they might reject Christ at His coming." Desire of Ages, 124.

In turning now to Testimonies to Ministers, page 473, we must read the statement in the light of the fact that Satan has an accurate knowledge of the Scriptures and when speaking to his own angels, would lay plans in harmony with that knowledge.

And so even though the words reported here are the words of Satan to his angels, he says these things in his sure knowledge of the accuracy of Bible prophecy. And knowing that the death decree is going to come and impose this test upon the people of God before probation closes, he says,

"When DEATH shall be made the PENALTY of violating OUR SABBATH, then many who are now ranked with commandment keepers, will COME OVER TO OUR SIDE."

Every reader of these pages is aware of the fact that once probation is closed, there will be NO CHANGING SIDES. Once the close of probation comes, every man, woman and child will have taken their stand on the one side or the other. All such changing of sides must take place before probation closes. In this statement we are plainly told that there will be a CHANGING OF SIDES after the making of the death decree. This makes it very plain that the death decree comes BEFORE the close of probation so that there is still time for a changing of sides before changing of sides can never happen again

Part 30 (LAST DAY EVENTS)

Together with this statement we have further evidence from Testimonies volume 5:212,213.

"And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book." Daniel 12:1.

"When this time of trouble comes, EVERY CASE IS DECIDED; there is no longer probation, no longer mercy for the impenitent. The seal of the living God is upon His people. This SMALL REMNANT, unable to defend themselves in the deadly conflict with the powers of earth that are marshalled by the dragon host, MAKE GOD THEIR DEFENSE. The decree has been passed by the highest earthly authority that they shall worship the beast and receive the mark under pain of persecution and death."

The message of this paragraph is very clear, if we take just what it says. First it states that a certain point of time has been reached and then lists the condition which will exist when that point of time has been reached. The point of time reached will be that point of time where Michael has stood up, probation has closed and the time of Jacob's trouble has commenced. This brings the situtation as listed in the paragraph.

In other words the paragraph has the following construction:

When this time of trouble comes,

1. Every case is decided.

2.There is no longer probation.

3. No longer mercy for the impenitent.

4. The small remnant make God their defense.

5. The decree has been passed by the highest authority that they shall worship the beast and receive his mark under pain of persecution and death. In other words the death decree has been passed when this time of trouble comes. This is but to say then that the death decree is actually made before the close of probation.

"As the Sabbath has become the special point of Controversy throughout Christendom, and religious and secular authorities combine to enforce the observance of the Sunday law, the PERSISTENT REFUSAL of a SMALL MINORITY to yield to the popular demand will make them the objects of universal execration." Great Controversy, 615.

We all know that this takes place before the close of probation.

Part 31 (LAST DAY EVENTS)

"It will be urged that THE FEW who stand in opposition to an institution of the church and a law of the land ought not to be tolerated; that IT IS BETTER FOR THEM TO SUFFER THAN FOR WHOLE NATIONS TO BE THROWN INTO CONFUSION AND LAWLESSNESS. The same argument eighteen hundred years ago was brought against Christ by the 'rulers of the people.' John 11:50. This argument will appear conclusive; and a decree will finally be issued against those who hallow the Sabbath of the fourth commandment, denouncing them as deserving the severest punishment and giving the people liberty, after a certain time, to put them to death. Romanism in the old world and apostate Protestantism in the new will pursue a similar course towards those who honour the divine precepts." The Great Controversy, 615,616.

Now we ask the question, What folows? What will be the consequence of the passing of this decree? The answer is in the very next paragraph which says,

"The people of God will then be plunged into the scenes of affliction and distress described by the prophet as the time of Jacob's trouble."

This is but to say, that the passing of the death decree will be followed by the beginning of the time of Jacob's trouble.

The time of Jacob's trouble begins immediately the Savior ceases His ministration in the sanctuary in Heaven.

"When Christ shall cease His work in man's behalf, then this time of trouble will begin." Patriarchs & Prophets, 201.

If then the death decree comes before Jacob's trouble as is so plainly told here in Great Controversy page 616, and if Jacob's trouble begins at the close of probation as is so plainly taught in Patriarchs and Prophets 201, then the death decree must come just before, or slightly less specifically, at the close of human probation. There is no other conclusion which could be drawn from these statements.

This series of statements then make it very clear that the death decree is indeed passed just before the close of probation. This must not be confused with the time for its EXECUTION. This is after the close of probation and the date for the execution of it must be distinguished from the date when it is passed, and the full weight and threat of it as the great final test is felt by the people of God.

When that final test comes, it will be too late for the soul's need to be supplied.

"The great final test comes at the close of human probation, when it will be too late for the soul's need to be supplied." Christ Object Lessons, 412.

You keep saying this but Paul says...

Rom 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
Rom 7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
Rom 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Rom 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Rom 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

Part 32 (LAST DAY EVENTS)

Now it is time to study the ROLE of SPIRITUALISM in the setting up of the Image of the beast in the United States of America and in all the world.

In the work of restoration of the Beast and his Image in these last days, the role of SPIRITUALISM is not to be overlooked, for it will play a major part in this return to power of ecclesiastical oppression.

"Satan has long been preparing for his final effort to deceive the world... little by little he has prepared the way for his masterpiece of deception in the development of SPIRITUALISM... Even in its present form, so far from being more worthy of toleration than formerly, it is really a more dangerous, because a more subtle, deception. While it formerly denounced Christ and the Bible, IT NOW PROFESSES TO ACCEPT BOTH. But the Bible is interpreted in a manner that is pleasing to the unrenewed heart, while its solemn and vital truths are made of no effect. LOVE IS DWELT UPON AS THE CHIEF ATTRIBUTE OF GOD, BUT IT IS DEGRADED TO A WEAK SENTIMENTALISM, making little distinction between good and evil." The Great Controversy,561, 558.

In Matthew 24:24, we are warned that in the last days "There shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

The ones against whom we are warned, appearing in plural numbers in these last days are false Christs and false prophets. They come NOT AS OPENED ENEMIES OF THE TRUTH, but as COUNTERFEITS OF THE REAL.

Among those who are opposed to God's living truths are men so polite, courteous, helplful, calm and nice that you would ask yourself, How could such men ever be the enemies of God? Outwardly they bear all the marks of conversion. Surely from all I can see of these men they are true children of God!

But do not be deceived. That is not the test. The ministers of unrighteousness come among us as angels of light to deceive and draw back God's people. In these last days we will have miracles, genuine, undeniable miracles of apparent conversions, worked by Satan's ministers.

They will teach a message which appears to be the doctrine of Christ. It will look the same and sound the same, but God's true people will know by His Word that it is not the same because there are distinct differences.

"Genious, sympathy, even generous deeds, may become decoys of Satan to entice other souls over the precipice of ruin for this life and the life to come." MB 94,95.

"To a superficial observer, persons who are naturally amiable, who are educated and refine, may appear perfect in life," (F.W.32) but do not be deceived, for

"I saw that the mysterious signs and wonders, and false reformations would increase, and spread. THE REFORMATIONS THAT WERE SHOWN ME WERE NOT REFORMATIONS FROM ERROR TO TRUTH, BUT FROM BAD TO WORSE; for those who professed a change of heart, had only wrap about them a religious garb, which covered up the iniquity of a wicked heart. Some appeared to have been really converted, as to deceive God's people, but if their hearts could be seen, they would appear as black as ever." E.G.White, and Her Critics, by F.D. Nichol p.222.(Present Truth, Aug.1849, pp.21,22).

Part 33 (LAST DAY EVENTS)

In the book of Revelation, it is made clear that there will be in the final and finishing conflict, a vast gathering of the powers of earth, and that this gathering will be accomplished through the work of the spirits of devils, WORKING MIRACLES. It is also made clear that this vast confederacy of earthly power will be gathered together in opposition against the God of Heaven and against the Lamb, but that in the end the Lord will be the victor in the battle. See Isaiah 8:9-16.

Now these very same miracle working spirits of devils will be the prime agency in the bringing into being the Image of the Beast. This is expressly stated in Revelation 13:11-18. What is this fire that comes down from heaven (first heaven of course)?

Today men in the religious world are looking for the fulfilment of the second Pentecost. In Joel 2:28-32, is foretold the mighty outpouring of the Spirit in the last days. When this true work comes it will be the work of the true Christ and His workers, and the Devil and his evil spirits of devils fears the mighty power to be exercised in this movement.

They will work with all their deceptive power to mislead souls. To do this they will seek to counterfeit the real before it comes so that many will be misled and deceived into a snare before the real movement comes. In this way they miss out on the true because they have become part of the false.

"I saw that God has honest children among the nominal Adventists and the fallen churches, and before the plagues shall be poured out, ministers and people will be called out from these churches and will gladly receive the truth. Satan knows this; and before the loud cry of the third angel is given, he raises an excitement in these religious bodies, that those who have rejected the truth may think that God is with them. He hopes to deceive the honest and lead them to think that God is still working for the churches. But the light will shine, and all who are honest will leave the fallen churches, and take their stand with the remnant." Early Writings, p.261.

The above prophecy from the Book of Joel has already had a fulfilment in the experience of the Apostles at Pentecost. On that day, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and therefore speaking the truth of God, Peter said,

"But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel." Acts 2:16.

It was in that day when the words of Joel were first fulfilled that "fire came down from Heaven in the sight of men" as a testtimony that the Holy Spirit had come in power on the people of God. That was a demonstration of the way in which this prophecy was to be fulfilled and the devil knows it. Inasmuch as he is determined to appear as Christ with the power of God, he will make it appear that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit has come, that Pentecost is being repeated.

The coming down of the fire from heaven which marked the descent of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost, was immediately followed by miracles of healing.

Likewise we can expect to see miracles of healing sweeping through those churches who, having rejected the light of truth and the message of Sabbath reform, have opened the door to the inroads of spiritualism. And in these expectations we shall not be disappointed in our trust of the sure word of prophecy, for already this thing is being fulfilled before our very eyes. Today there is present in many of the churches a movement of power associated with which are miracles of healing so genuine as to be undeniable.

"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men and deceived them that dwell upon the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast, saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by the sword and did live."

So the whole objective of the bringing of false fire from heaven, the whole objective of working miracles and therefore, the whole objective of the spirits of devils in the last days is to bring into existence the formation of the Image of the Beast.
