There are no proofs that we live on the globe/outer surface.
It is surely controversial but there is a lot of evidence you can not

1. Earth is full of magma, molten epicenter, enormous temperatures in it.

2. Earth is a globe.

Scientific evidence would be an experiment conducted by some scientists, who have conducted some experiments and research and came to conclusions as above. And how we can check for ourselves that Earth is an convex.

Here is the proof the earth is convex: Start at the equator, just before the Greenwich parallel, going east. Now, turn north (90 degree turn exactly), and continue the 6000+ miles until you reach the geographic north pole by following the Greenwich parallel. At the pole, make a 90 degree left turn, for a heading down the 90th parallel of longitude. Follow that south to the equator, and turn east again 90 degrees to return to your starting point. At any given time, you will appear to following a straight line, and all turns are 90 degrees. You have just described an equilateral triangle with 3 angles that sum to 270 degrees. That is the definition of a convex surface.

You do not have to do the whole big journey. Any flat surface (like the ocean) and a journey of say 100-200 miles on each side, will be long enough to reveal a triangle over 180 degrees. The experiment is confirmed by every navigator in a plane or ship who uses the old triangulation method instead of the modern GPS navigation.

This whole thing starts with Euclid's parallel postulate. The Greeks themselves were clear that geometry measures not the earth (as they knew it is round), but the universe in open space. Euclid himself knew the parallel postulate was necessary to prove that a triangle sums to 180 degrees. That's not a scientific proof. That's your assumption, based on data which proves BOTH ways, because that experiment is working in both cases equally well.
