Why do so many people think they will not be judged by thier works? The "New Testament" tells us we will over and over:

Mattithyah 16:27, “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His Malakim; and then He will reward every man according to his works.”

Yahchanan (John) 5:28-30, “Do not be astonished at this-for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice, and will come forth. Those who have practiced righteousness will be resurrected in order to live; and those who have practiced wickedness will be resurrected in order to be damned."

Acts 17:30-31, “In the past Yahweh winked at such ignorance, but now He commands all men everywhere to repent! For He has appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness, by a Man whom He has ordained; and He has given evidence to everyone by raising Him from the dead.”

Romans 2:4-11, “Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance, and longsuffering; not realizing that Yahweh’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? But according to your stubborn and impenitent mind you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of Yahweh’s wrath, when the righteous judgment of Yahweh will be revealed; when He will reward each one according to his works: to the ones on the one hand, who, by patient persistence in doing righteousness, seek for glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But to the ones on the other hand, who are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give indignation and wrath.” Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man who does evil: to the Yahdai(Jew) first, and also to the Greek (Gentile) But glory, honor, and peace to every man who works righteousness: to the Yahdai first, and also to the Greek. For there is no respect of persons with Yahweh.”

2 Corinthians 5:10, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, that each one may receive his reward according to what he has done in the body, whether righteous or evil.”

Colossians 3:24-25, “Knowing that from Yahweh you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve Yahshua the Messiah. But he who does wrong will receive the reward for the wrong he has done, and there is no respect of persons.”

1 Kepha (Peter) 1:17-18, “And if you call on the Father, Who without respect of persons judges according to each man’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your sojourning here in reverence. Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, from your idolatrous way of life handed down to you by tradition from your fathers.”

Mattithyah 15:3, “But Yahshua answered, and said to them: and why do you transgress the Laws of Yahweh by your traditions?”

Revelation 20:12-13, “And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before Yahweh. And the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and Death and Sheol delivered up the dead which were in them. And they were judged, every man, according to their works.”

Revelation 22:12, “And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be.”

Yaaqob (James) 2:26, “For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so the faith without works is dead also.” Can dead save?

2 Timothy 4:3-4, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts they will heap to themselves teachers, who will tickle their ears, and they will turn away their ears from the truth, and be turned to fables.”

Romans 3:25, "Whom Yahweh set forth as a sacrifice of atonement by His own blood, through the faith, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of Yahweh."

So much for past, present AND FUTURE SINS.

Hebrews 10:26-30, "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. Those who rejected the Law given through Mosheh died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished, who has trampled the Son of Yahweh underfoot, and has counted the blood of the covenant (with which He was sanctified) an unholy thing, and who has insulted the Spirit of mercy? (Yahchanan (John) 5:14, "Afterward, Yahshua found him in the sacred precincts and said to him: Behold, you are healed. Sin no more, or a worse thing will come upon you.") For we know Him Who has said: Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says Yahweh. And again: Yahweh will judge His people."

Please give me your thoughts on this subject.

Judgement is missused by pastors fo profit. We are to be OF ONE MIND concerning it as it is what God uses for CORRECTION of his people.

For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, not by works lest any man should boast.

Yaaqob (James) 2:26, "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so the faith without works is dead also."

And those more than 10 "NT" Scriptures that said we will be judged by our works, lets ignore those and isolate 1 verse.

No man can enter the Kingdom of Yahweh by works alone, however a man can lose his place in the kingdom by having unrighteous works or works not according to the mouth of Yahweh.

Yaaqob (James) 2:22, "Do you see that the faith worked together with his works, and by works the faith makes perfect?"

For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, not by works lest any man should boast.

I bet if you preached just that and I preached just what I wrote your congregation would be 20 times the size of mine.

First of all, scripture informs the reader that there are two Resurrection events, right?

The First Resurrection is for the Righteous - and they are NOT judged.

The Second Resurrection is for the un-righteous - and they WILL be judged.

'Works' follow the Righteous into Heaven...they do not precede the Righteous into Heaven...

Yaaqob (James) 2:26, "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so the faith without works is dead also."

Yaaqob (James) 2:22, "Do you see that the faith worked together with his works, and by works the faith makes perfect?"

It says faith without works is dead; it does not say salvation without works is dead. No one is arguing that our works is the evidence of the strength of our faith, but it is not the essence of our salvation. That is through faith, apart from works.

You want to play the verse-spewing game? I can do that.

"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." (Acts 16:31)

"This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe." (Romans 3:22)

"For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law." (Romans 3:28)

"To the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness." (Romans 4:5)

"For what does the Scripture say? And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness."(Romans 4:3)

"therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ," (Romans 5:1)

"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)

To believe that we need to earn our salvation discredits Christ's work on the cross. It is basically saying that Christ's sacrifice is not enough to atone for our sins, but our own works are needed in order to enter heaven.

"For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law." (Romans 3:28)

Read 3 more verses:

Romans 3:28, " "For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law."

Romans 3:31, "Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law."

But you choose the path you want

Mattithyah 7:23, "But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."

Iniquity is Word #458 from word #459, Greek Dictionary, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, meaning not subject to
(Yahweh's) Laws, transgressor.

Revelation 22:12-14, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

Nobody can enter the Kingdom of Yahweh only with the Law, however one can lose their spot without it..

See: every verse I posted

Revelation 20:12-15, "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before Yahweh. And the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is The Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and Death and Sheol; the grave, delivered up the dead which were in them. And they were judged, every man, according to their works. And Death and Sheol were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whoever was not found written in The Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Romans 2:6-12, "When He will reward each one according to his works:To the ones on one hand, who, by patient persistence in doing righteousness, seek for glory, honor and immortality, He will give eternal life. But to the ones on the other hand, who are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man who does evil: to the Yahdai first, and also to the Greek.
But glory, honor, and peace to every man who works righteousness: to the Yahdai first, and also to the gGreek. For there is no respect of persons with Yahweh. For as many as have sinned without the Law, will also perish without the Law, and as many as have sinned in the Law, will be judged by the Law."

So the original post is all "NT" and over and over itsays all men will be judged by thier works, but hey won't?

Revelation12:17, "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with those who forsook her seed; her seed being those who keep the Laws of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah."

Revelation 14:12, "lIn this manner are the saints purified--by keeping the Laws of Yahweh, in conformity with the faith, in Yahshua Messiah."

FATIH + WORKS = KINGDOM

Faith alone or Works alone = no kingdom

Yaaqob (James) 2:26, "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so the faith without works is dead also."

Can something DEAD save?

Okay, Scripture says that we have been separated from our sin, that Jesus became sin for us. So on the day of Judgment, we will stand before the throne and confess, and God will not remember our sin, and through the blood of His Son, we will be allowed to enter the New World.

Again...as confirmed by scripture...if you find yourself being judged, then that means that you are not going to heaven.

The ones being judged in the above scriptures are the ones in the 'books'...not the singular Lamb's Book of life - which is opened to show the names of the ones NOT judged, as they were already taken to Heaven at the First Resurrection.

Again...two resurrections...

So the original post is all "NT" and over and over itsays all men will be judged by thier works, but hey won't?

The Righteous are not judged.

The key term here is 'Faith'....of which, has always pertained to the Righteous belief in God as He has revealed Himself, Triune.

Revelation 22:12-14, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."

So " to give every man according as his work will be", and when Yahshua says "every man" he actually means not every man?

Isayah 29:13, "Therefore Yahweh said: Because these people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their reverence to Me is taught by the precept of men."

2 Kepha 3:16, "As also in all his letters, speaking in them about these things, in which are some things hard to be understood, which those who are unlearned and unstable twist, as they also do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction."

I can not stop you from going you way of iniquity.

Yaaqob (James) 2:26, "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so the faith without works is dead also."

Both the Righteous and the un-righteous have works....but it is only the un-righteous who are judged by it.

To be 'Righteous' is to be 'Right', of course...and, according the Holy Bible, being Righteous is to believe and worship God as Triune.

That is how the patriarchs of the OT were saved...by practicing Righteousness...i.e. believing in, and worshiping God as He revealed Himself to them - Triune.

The Book of Hebrews elaborates and summarizes this quite nicely...

You made that up, that is NOWHERE in SCRIPTURE

Heb 11.7

Being divinely warned by God about the things not yet having been seen, moved with fear, by faith Noah prepared an ark for the salvation of his house; through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness according to faith.

The OT scripture to which this example in Hebrews refers...

Gen 6.9

These are the generations of Noah. Noah, a righteous man, hadbeen perfected among his family. Noah walked with God (ha Elohim...literally 'all the Gods').

Certainly, who said faith is not important?

Elohim was never in the original manuscript.

The oldest we have is called the "J" writings for it's exclusive use of YHWH, then next can the "E" writings which used EL (Elohim), this was a pagan name, the chief deity of the Canaanites was EL, remember when the Israylites worshopped the gods of the surrounding nations? Yeah, thats where it came from, Adonai also. The Masorites ADDED vowel points into the written language to change the meaning of the words thus foging the Scriptures. The vowel points added to YHWH made YaHoWaH, and thats where Jahovah comes from.
