Recently, California passed a law having to do with, can you guess, gay people. The law says that if a boy or girl decides that they want to change genders, even if its not genuine, the school has to allow them into opposite gender's locker rooms. Basically, if a guy says he is a girl, he is allowed to go into the girls locker room, no questions asked. It also goes the other way. What are your opinions on this issue?

well first transgendered people aren't necessarily gay, you clearly don't get the concept. also without a posting of the law i'm sure there is more to it than john said he's a girl let him in
 
I do know what transgender means, i just chose to use a generalization of that word. Technically, none of them are transgender, bisexual, or gay, they are Sodomites. I really don't care what I'm supposed to call them, i care more for the facts. I watched a news report that gave me the facts so if you want to argue, do it with the news anchor.
 
'Cause we all know the news is delivered with balanced and fair reporting and no slant whatsoever.
 
Here's the actual text. Not much to it:

[h=2]The people of the State of California do enact as follows:[/h]

[h=3]SECTION 1.[/h] Section 221.5 of the Education Code is amended to read:

[h=6]221.5.[/h] (a) It is the policy of the state that elementary and secondary school classes and courses, including nonacademic and elective classes and courses, be conducted, without regard to the sex of the pupil enrolled in these classes and courses.
(b) A school district may not prohibit a pupil from enrolling in any class or course on the basis of the sex of the pupil, except a class subject to Chapter 5.6 (commencing with Section 51930) of Part 28 of Division 4 of Title 2.
(c) A school district may not require a pupil of one sex to enroll in a particular class or course, unless the same class or course is also required of a pupil of the opposite sex.
(d) A school counselor, teacher, instructor, administrator, or aide may not, on the basis of the sex of a pupil, offer vocational or school program guidance to a pupil of one sex that is different from that offered to a pupil of the opposite sex or, in counseling a pupil, differentiate career, vocational, or higher education opportunities on the basis of the sex of the pupil counseled. Any school personnel acting in a career counseling or course selection capacity to a pupil shall affirmatively explore with the pupil the possibility of careers, or courses leading to careers, that are nontraditional for that pupil’s sex. The parents or legal guardian of the pupil shall be notified in a general manner at least once in the manner prescribed by Section 48980, in advance of career counseling and course selection commencing with course selection for grade 7 so that they may participate in the counseling sessions and decisions.
(e) Participation in a particular physical education activity or sport, if required of pupils of one sex, shall be available to pupils of each sex.
(f) A pupil shall be permitted to participate in sex-segregated school programs and activities, including athletic teams and competitions, and use facilities consistent with his or her gender identity, irrespective of the gender listed on the pupil’s records.
 
We will have equal rights for all. Except blacks, Asians, Hispanics, Jews, gays, women, Muslims. Uhmm...Everybody who's not a white man. Thats the thing. Blacks, Spanish, Gays, etc. all get more rights than Christians do. We're a minority and yet we have no rights. The point is that boys and girls can go into whichever locker room they please and shower with whoever they please, no questions asked. Thats a fact. And its wrong. I would'nt be comfortable with that. I don't see how any of you can.
 
Simple. If a physically male person wants to NOT USE the men's lockers, (or the other way around), they can shower ALONE

And regardless of what you want to call them they are still people and deserve a modicum of decency and respect from you.

If the bill is enforced there will continue a mass exodus from public to private and homeschooling. It's a no brainer, you don't make decisions to pamper a few at the expense of the majority. Simply asinine...simply a sign of the times.
 
This is not a rights issue....its a privilege issue.

I can claim any sex I want to and be allowed access to either the boys locker room or the girls.

THAT, is not equal.

If California keeps passing these idiotic immoral laws, Nevada is going to have seaside property after God deals with Ca.

That would be great but unfortunately, highly unlikely. Most people here don't care. They are deceived and scriptural living isn't really important to them. You could say that it is already growing closer to the days of Noah here and rapidly declining.

Ordinarily I would say she is operating off of different moral assumptions than you are. Yes, there is a slight distinction that could be important if you or I were her legal counsel, but for all intents and purposes the moral failure in question is similar in nature.
 
Wait, I didn't read the content. So is the bathrooom itself gay, or is the law gay? No one seems very gay (happy) in this thread.
