It's tolerated, philly, bro, so that God can be glorified. That, like someone dying in Scripture, the person is not raised from the dead so that they can have a new life doing nothing, it's for the glory of God, they are going to go off and the Spirit is going to be in them like nobody's business. That's what Jesus said, that Mary and Martha's brother was not raised for any other reason than so the God would get the glory. Just like the blind person, he is blind because he's to bring glory to God in that way. :)

Hi GreenNnice,

I understand that, but there comes a point when it cannot be tolerated amongst the brethren.

Silas, how do you evangelize? If a person came up to you and asked, "I don't understand exactly what Son of God means can you explain?" What would be your answer?

Nope

Who resides in the Body of Christ, you are evading?

I can give you the answer Peter Gave, hopefully that will satisfy you as it did Jesus, he asked for no further explanation

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”[SUP]16 [/SUP]Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
[SUP]17 [/SUP]Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven

I agree totally with that, and Christ told Peter flesh and blood had not revealed it to Peter but his Father in Heaven

If that was enough for Christ, why is it not enough for you?

Who is Jesus Christ the son of god? is he go, is he a man, is he a creature, is he a force? Why evade the question

If you were not all so blind you would see. The ministers do not preach your demands from the pulpit, they don't in the UK anyway. And if Phil was an honest person, he'd admit it, they demand what I believe
oh i remember you:)
snap snap....what was yer old username again?

Are you kidding me
I live in the real world. If a desperate soul came up to me seeking the Lord, you really think he's gonna want a theological discussion concerning the person of Christ
And if someone did ewant a grand theological discussion, they wouldn't be that desperate to get saved would they. If that were the case I'd put them in contact with one of you if you'd give me an email

So I know Christ is the holy Son of God, but because he himself stated the Father is the one true God, and therefore I believe that, I should be thrown off this website, that's what you believe, well I hope you have fully explained that in your complaints about me
Well if Silas gets thrown off for this; chuck me into the waste basket too, PLEASE

It makes sense to me. Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God. That's what Jesus was called on Earth, anyway. He was never called 'God' anywhere that I know of, except by Doubting Thomas, who when He felt the glorified Jesus' side said, "My Lord and My God."

What kind of revelation is that, brothersile ?

It's enough to tell us that something is mighty correlary between 'the Son of God' and 'Father in heaven.'

If you really think defining Son of God takes people to a theological discussion, and not regarded as basic, then I think you been drinking milk while imagining meat lol.

Have you the right to demand more than did Christ?
Please answer instead of hurling more accusations

Anyway, I'm starting to feel led to leave the discussion again, I need to go to other threads for a bit but you take care brothersile and the Lord will reveal what it is He want you to know of who is YOUR Lord and YOUR God :)

I do like your quiet spirit, for the most part, that's good, Scripture says "As much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Paul speaking .

But, there is so much Scripture that tells us what is needed known and it's important to note: Peter did not have the BENEFIT of having had the canon written already when Jesus asked Peter, " Who do you say I AM?" :)

Hi GreenNnice,

I know, philly.

The Lord leads :)

I pray for brothersile, to see Christ in a new light, shining in TRIumphant glory onto brothersile's life, that He can 'see' and appreciate God for all He truly is, the One who came to Earth from heaven via a Holy Spirit seed and who's job was to give glory to God and to do things that His Father in heaven willed Him to do.

Peace to all who have really, actually, demonstrated blessed restraint toward this subject, and, that is God in you, may His Spirit lead you well in speaking in Love to brothersile and quicklyfire and xianconsulter and all who are in need of a shot of revelation from God for understanding who the FAther, the Son, and, the Holy Ghost truly all are. They are One in the same. Just One, not three to worship with different personalities, not one lower than the other, or, greater than the other. they will and always have been One. :)
