Is it just me or has anyone else noticed the odd way vaccines are being pushed here in America. I think it all got started during the swine flu scare. They had predicted it would be a possible pandemic but turned out to be nothing unusual. The public bought into the scare tactics and record numbers of people got a flu shot.

I am not sure if other countries have seen this also, but who knows? You can walk into any pharmacy and the pharmacist can inject you with a prescription drug with no need for a prescription or doctor's approval. They are running ad campaigns that imply if you love you child, get him protected with a vaccine. It just seems odd to me that Doctor's don't seem to mind this encroachment into thier own trade.

i don't know much about the vaccination debate or flu epidemics...

what i do know is that i have never had a flu vaccination...and in the past year i got the flu for the first time since high school...and not just once but three times...

i wonder what that means?

I did this one time at a pharmacy ,I went with the panic over swine flu, then I had to wonder why.Now I just want to trust GOD and I feel different. That is what I should have done all along.

U.S. made the swine flu H1N1 and has the patent

Federation of American Scientists :: 1918 Influenza A (H1N1) Fact Sheet

Reconstituted Virus: When the 1918 flu disappeared, no samples of the virus were retained for scientific study. In 1997, however, scientists recovered fragments of the virus’s RNA genome from the preserved remains of infected people. The genome of the flu virus is composed of 8 RNA segments. Recently, scientists were able to remake 1918 flu using a technique called reverse genetics. They started by making DNA copies of the virus genome segments because DNA is easier to manipulate in the lab than RNA. Each of those copies was then placed into a larger piece of circular DNA called a plasmid. Those eight DNA circles are then put into an animal cell. The animal cell produces the proteins that correspond to the 8 segments which then form the flu virus. The technique also allows scientists to selectively manipulate individual parts of the virus when doing experiments.

Proof That The Swine Flu Epidemic Was Man Made and Intentional | The Liberty Beacon

By: Sarah Cain

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has a patent for, ‘Genetically Engineered Swine Influenza Virus and Uses Thereof‘ (patent #8124101). It was filed in 2005 for approval. They waited until the patent was finally approved in January of 2009 before unleashing the virus into the wild. In other words, the makers of the swine flu vaccine began the lengthy patenting process long before the swine flu supposedly existed, which means that the outbreak was no accident, and the virus is clearly not natural. Patents only apply to man-made items, and natural things cannot be patented. The virus conveniently went public only after its vaccine patent was approved, after waiting 3 years for it. The pandemic was declared just five months after the patent was approved, in June of 2009. Tremendous hysteria that followed was promoted by the same groups who “invented” (their word in the patent) this admittedly genetically engineered virus.

The patent application states:

“The present invention relates, in general, to attenuated swine influenza viruses having an impaired ability to antagonize the cellular interferon (IFN) response, and the use of such attenuated viruses in vaccine and pharmaceutical formulations. In particular, the invention relates to attenuated swine influenza viruses having modifications to a swine NS1 gene that diminish or eliminate the ability of the NS1 gene product to antagonize the cellular IFN response. These viruses replicate in vivo, but demonstrate decreased replication, virulence and increased attenuation, and therefore are well suited for use in live virus vaccines, and pharmaceutical formulations.”

This virus was not discovered in the wild. It was “invented”. The patent ownership is claimed by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York University), St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture. The rabbit hole indeed goes very deep. Under the ‘inventors’ section of the patent is listed:

  • Palese, Peter (Leonia, NJ)
  • Garcia-Sastre, Adolfo (New York, NY)
  • Webby, Richard J. (Memphis, TN)
  • Richt, Juergen A. (Ames, IA)
  • Webster, Robert G. (Memphis, TN)
  • Lager, Kelly M. (Colo, IA)

These names should live in infamy, and each of these people should be held accountable for every swine flu death.

Why would an ‘attenuated’ (weakened for the purpose of vaccines), genetically engineered virus exist, and then be patented prior to any outbreaks in history — when it doesn’t even exist outside the laboratory? When we first reported on the swine flu in our audio show, we mentioned the impossibility of it having occurred naturally. For swine flu, avian flu and human flu D.N.A. cannot naturally mix without destroying themselves.

If the patented version of the swine flu virus that is now being put into vaccines failed to be identical to the version that is now being found in humans, then it would be completely useless for creating immunity. Therefore, since the above patent is for a genetically engineered virus, then the virus that is spreading through the population would also have to be genetically engineered in an identical fashion, and would have originated from the same laboratory. The virus is documented by the U.S. Patent Office to have been intentionally created prior to 2005, at a time when the virus “did not exist”. The virus would have to wait three years for patent approval to exist in the wild.

The only question that remains is, was this bio-weapon attack against the public accidental, or intentional? The very existence of the patent demonstrates a profit motive, and thus, intent. Considering that they had this vaccine ahead of time, and the coordinated media cover-up yields the depressing answer to this question. Was this just a test run, before they release something that is much worse? Was it an attempt to create panic, so that they could rush more bills through like they did in the weeks following the World Trade Center attacks? Is it all part of a population control experiment for the New World Order?

This virus became weaker the longer that it existed in the wild. It was initially killing a lot of people in Mexico, but then the virus mutated, and it became much less harmful. Due to the virus’ rapid mutations, the swine flu vaccine is ironically unlikely to be helpful against the current strains. What was initially unleashed upon the public was horrific, and the weakening of this virus was never intended by its manufacturers at the medical schools, and within the U.S. Government. What they intended and designed for us was truly evil, and we’re damn lucky.
We finally have proof from their own documents that the pandemic was man-made, and intentional. The fact that this virus essentially neutralized itself over time is an indicator that God has not yet completely abandoned America.

How Big Pharma Profits from Swine Flu

The Vaccine Renaissance: How Big Pharma Profits from Swine Flu - SPIEGEL ONLINE

Swiss pharmaceutical giant Novartis gave US efforts to combat pandemic influenzas a boost with the Nov. 24 opening of the country's first large-scale cell-culture manufacturing plant. Located in Holly Springs, N.C., the Novartis plant, backed by $487 million in federal funding, represents a major milestone in using biotech production technologies to replace the 50-year-old manufacturing process based on growing vaccines in eggs. "This technology has the potential to leapfrog the traditional egg-based approach, increasing the reliability and productivity of vaccine production," says Novartis Chairman and Chief Executive Daniel Vasella.

Novartis is one of two vaccine manufacturers using the newer cell-based methods. The Novartis plant will produce flu vaccines in dog kidney cells instead of chicken's eggs, shaving around one month off the estimated three to six months needed to create vaccines using eggs. According to Novartis, the plant will be able to crank out 50 million doses of seasonal flu vaccine and 150 million doses of pandemic vaccine for the US within six months of the declaration of a pandemic. However, it will be 2011 at the earliest before the factory is able to start making cell-based vaccines.

Adjuvants and the H1N1 Vaccine

Still, any future increase in capacity is welcome news for the US. The current shortage of H1N1 (also knows as swine flu) vaccinations in the US has highlighted the need for newer, more reliable vaccine development technologies. Though 50 million doses of the H1N1 vaccine have been distributed to date, that's only enough to reach about one-third of the 160 million Americans that the Centers for Disease Control would like to see inoculated.

A big part of the problem is that the US Food & Drug Administration, unlike its counterpart in Europe, has yet to approve use of adjuvants, which are additives that increase the body's response to vaccines, lowering the required dose. Novartis already makes cell-based seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccines with its own licensed adjuvant at a factory in Marburg, Germany.

The Novartis seasonal vaccine is approved in Europe and Japan, and the pandemic vaccine recently won regulatory approval in Germany and Switzerland. Vasella says the trials have shown that using adjuvants could potentially double or even quadruple the vaccine supply. "Some 45 million doses of the cell-based vaccine with adjuvant have already been safely administered, so it is quite established in other countries," say Vasella. He's confident that cell-based technology will eventually be approved in the US. And if the pandemic suddenly explodes, the FDA would likely act quickly to approve the use of adjuvants.

The Resurgence of Vaccines

It wasn't too long ago that vaccines were deemed the poor relation of the pharmaceutical industry. Their complexity and high manufacturing cost -- coupled with relatively low margins and risk of major litigation -- deterred all but a handful of players, including Novartis, Britain's GlaxoSmithKline, France's Sanofi Aventis, New Jersey's Merck, and Wyeth -- now a unit of Pfizer.

More recently, though, there's been something of a vaccine renaissance. That's partly because the industry is now facing serious challenges to its core prescription drug business. Some $135 billion in prescription drug sales will lose patent protection in the next five years, and there's little in drug companies' pipelines to replace those sales, says IMS Health consultant Alan Sheppard.

Vaccines are in the class of biological drugs, which are expensive and difficult to produce, but that makes them less vulnerable to generic competition from weaker manufacturers. Moreover, with blockbuster drugs harder to come by, the success of Wyeth's pediatric pneumococcal vaccine Prevnar, which now generates $3 billion plus in annual sales, proved that vaccines could be profitable.

With the $780 billion global prescription drug market growing at a sluggish 5 percent a year, many analysts reckon that the vaccine industry, which is forecast to climb 13 percent annually through 2012, offers the most upside potential. "More companies are investing in vaccines as a way of diversifying away from prescription drugs, and new technologies such as cell culture are enabling them to produce more sophisticated vaccines," says Michael Boyd, acting director general of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA).

Flu Vaccine Spurs Pharma Deals

Witness the slew of recent dealmaking centered on vaccines. Through its $68 billion acquisition of Wyeth, Pfizer is now in the vaccine business. On Sept. 28, Abbott Laboratories splashed out $6.6 billion for Belgian flu vaccine maker Solvay, while Johnson & Johnson bought 18 percent of Dutch vaccine manufacturer Crucell. GSK -- which looks set to enjoy a windfall from swine flu vaccine -- also recently inked a $2.2 billion 10-year deal to provide Brazil with its pneumococcal vaccine.

As emerging economies mature and health-care spending rises there, vaccines also offer drug companies attractive new markets. In June, GSK signed a $78 million joint venture with China's Shenzhen Neptunus Interlong Bio-Technique to develop flu vaccines. A month later, Sanofi acquired a majority stake in Indian vaccine maker Shantha Biotechnics, valuing the company at $824 million. And on Nov. 4, Novartis spent $125 million for an 85 percent stake in privately owned Chinese vaccines company Zhejiang Tianyuan.

A Seasonal Shot in the Arm

In the short term, at least, H1N1 vaccine sales will give a major lift to sales at the three major European vaccine makers. GSK says analyst predictions for $1.7 billion of H1N1 vaccine sales in the fourth quarter are broadly accurate, and similar numbers are forecast for the first quarter 2010. Novartis says it expects $700 million in fourth-quarter sales alone of its H1N1 pandemic vaccine. And Sanofi-Aventis says it expects H1N1 sales in the fourth quarter to hit $500 million.

But the flu vaccine business, notes Vasella, is seasonal and unpredictable. Longer term, other areas such as cancer or meningitis offer greater opportunity. Indeed, analysts say Novartis' two meningitis vaccines have multibillion-dollar sales potential. Novartis has much riding on their success, because analysts at Sanford C. Bernstein estimate that Novartis' vaccine and diagnostics will generate 2009 sales of $1.5 billion but post a loss of $257 million.

Vasella says increased investment in vaccine research and development, clinical trials, and manufacturing are the reason for the losses. The company, for instance, spent $200 million over the past three years building a second manufacturing site in Liverpool, England, dedicated to the production of the H1N1 vaccine supplied to the US. "These kinds of investments are only justified if as part of an overall long-term strategy," says Vasella. "We believe our investment will pay off."

vaccines come from big pharma. NEVER trust big pharma. as a post a couple up shows. they invent the stuff, then push pills/vaccines on people for money.

I got flu shots 3 years in the 1980's. The last year I had the flu 7 times, and the last time I was so sick I had to be admitted to the hospital (I was in my early 30's and otherwise totally healthy).

The doctor who treated me told me I should have had a flu shot. When I told him I did, he told me to never have it again and I have not. I worked teaching elementary school, and now in long term care as a volunteer around the flu and colds.

I have never had the flu again since I that last year of the flu shot. That seems to much to be coincidence to me.

I did this one time at a pharmacy ,I went with the panic over swine flu, then I had to wonder why.Now I just want to trust GOD and I feel different. That is what I should have done all along.

That is what I have decided to do. I refuse to get the flu vaccine and simply trust in God for my health. When I do get sick, I pray first then see my doctor.

It may be foolish to never see a doctor or dentist when we are sick, but the flu vaccine is ostensibly a preventative measure. Shouldn't our faith and prayer be our "preventative measures"?

Put simply, I have never understood why I would have any kind of vaccine against gettig a disease???? So I am going to injesct just a little bit of the virus so my body can build up reistance or atibodies to it, so when I do get sick with this bug my body can fight it????

Doesn't it mean if my body can fight it on a small scale from a vaccine, that it would be able to fight it big time if I got it on a normal scale???

We have the antibodies already to fight the disease no need to give me a little bit to make sure I can fight the disease I am already equipped to fight. As for the preservatives they put in these vaccines.....fermelderhide (sorry bad spelling) which is used to preserve deceased bodies.....scary, very scary.

Proper flu or just bad virus or cold with horrible flu like symptoms?

Most people will not catch proper flu, if they do it is usually only once in their lifetime. If you can get out of bed and go to the doctors you do not have flu.

Flu kills.

If you are healthy and fit, then you have no need for the flu jabs each year. I have had flu once and I was fit and healthy back then with a strong heart, did plenty of cycling, resting pulse of no more than 50 beats per minute.

However when I ended up with flu, my pulse was racing 100bpm and higher, I had difficulty breathing for a few days, nearly had to go into hospital. Emptying my bowels and bladder where I lay in bed seemed the better option than having to sit up and walk 14 paces to the bathroom.

I can now see how people with health problems, young children, babies and old people can easily die from flu, so if having a vaccine can help with fighting that, then yes its a good idea.

They always tell my husband to get a flu shot because he has COPD but I think not, does anybody have any advice to strengthen the immune system naturally, especially for somebody with damaged lungs?

The Flu vaccination has been free here for many years to the at risk groups -elderly, asthma sufferers etc.. and it works. so if you are in that group why wouldn't you want something to help you.

Well,my husband does get it,but I wonder if besides that do any natural supplements help also as combined his immune system is weak.He has a infected leg that won't heal, because his immune system is failing.Hes got a multitude of issues.

NEVER get a flu shot. My dad did for several years & got the flu every time. I've never done it & I've never had the flu.

Hi Letti.

Sorry to hear that, I wasn't really answering your post it was just a general thought. I don't know anything personally..maybe someone will. Is there any natural health shop near by you who may be able to help?

Vaccines are not out to get you! And neither is big pharma. The flu vaccine IS NOT meant to protect you against EVERY flu strain out there. The vaccine is the best guess of the CDC as to which flu strains are going to be the "big ones". It's impossible to be vaccinated against everything out there.

Vaccines are DEAD. They are not active; you cannot get sick from a vaccine. They are meant to teach your body to fight against the real thing. In order for your immune system to fight something off, it needs antibodies to do so. That's what vaccines create.
