I don't agree with the homosexual lifestyle but it isn't Christ-like to condone such an attention either.

Jesus did not condone any sin. On at least one occasion he resorted to force to get his message across to the money changers. To the Pharisees there is a lot of frustration in his speech. He tended to be softer with the sins of people who were repentant or downtrodden.

There is the Neo Nazi group in Russia and it continues to grow. This group is extremely political based and holds a lot of sway/power in the government. These neo-nazis started attacking and killing foreigners then the hate broadened to the lgbt community in Russia. This group is extremely white supremacist.

Here is the deal, personally. Russia is holding the Winter Olympics. What will happen if a olympian is gay?and this was found out by the brainwashing of the government its self to the people who live in russia...would there be riots? should extra protection be with the olympians as a whole? will certain countries pull out or boycott? how do we keep everyone's saftey in russia, the participants and guests? Normally, with the olympics, the governments sweep their issues under the rug but this is becoming national news...more and more people are taking note, opening their eyes.

This is also happening on our soil. In North Dakota, neo nazis are planning on taking the whole state over. They are starting to keep "immigrants" out, either legal or illegal.

No one is safe from this. They could just clean house...anywhere and they are everywhere (I have been doing research)

So, I guess, as Believers in God, what is our role in this? will history repeat its self? Do we just turn a blind eye because "homosexuality is wrong and immigrants are mostly illegal (stereotypical thinking)"

How do we stop this? how do we not allow this? anywhere? everywhere?

I don't like what you're doing. In one thread, you'll proclaim yourself as a "believer in God" to help your argument such as in this moment, but then in others you will denounce God and Christianity as illogical and unbelievable. Stop this. Just be honest.

It's always such a temptation to denude people's liberty to bully your political enemies (exactly what we see the Democrats engaging in presently), but it always comes back to haunt at a later date.

I don't think the very liberal people in this nation would have very long to wait. As you pointed out, political enemies are the primary targets. Very liberal people who disagree with the power structure would hypothetically be the first to go under totalitarian Leftists.

We don't even need to deal in hypothetical levels. When Hitler was given absolute power, one of his primary targets was the SA. When Lenin and Stalin erected their regime in Russia, other leftists were the first to go as the movement needed to be consolidated.

It is common for political movements to have their purges. Even in stable societies and under worthy banners, people are tossed out of movements because political leadership deems the move as a necessity to remain viable. Sometimes these leaders are correct. As a conservative I think back in particular to William F. Buckley Jr.'s expulsion of the John Birch Society and various anti-Semites from our ranks.

When a movement takes power and uses the sword to make these decisions, people die or find their livelihoods ruined on a grand scale.

I hasten to add, David, that the most vocal critics of Putin on this thread appear to be American conservatives. May you remember this when you are tempted to castigate us.

You come across to me as someone that hates Americans as well as Conservatives. But I don't want to think of a brother that way, maybe you're just not very good at phraseology? When you say things like:

-"I'll leave the big government policing to you Conservatives I suppose" (I could mention the asinine New York soda ban as a retort, but I'm not here to counter-argue.)


I think that's enough to get my point across, no sense searching through to find the others. Anyway, I wanted to hear it directly from you, Do you hate Conservatives/Americans? Or do you just dislike them? For the record, I have no problem with Australians or Liberals, although the Liberals and Conservatives who constantly lie to try to win arguments are quite annoying.

I have NEVER denounced my belief in God. I just dont believe in Christianity. I believe there is a God and that God is real, as proved in my life in many, many ways....I just dont believe Christianity is the one truth, the one way...the only way. I believe this is crazy to sum it down to one belief. Thank you for your concern or your "bluntly putting it all out there" But dont automatically assume a believe in God automatically means "christian"

I woke up this morning (Saturday), and first thing I thought about this post was that it's a bunch of nonsense. A few straw man too. Are you also going to chase down all the people on this forum that demonise 'Liberals' and moan on about a fictional Liberal agenda? I doubt it.

The only Barbaric countries are those that still have the death penalty. That's the definition of barbarism. It's not my definition. The death penalty is barbaric.

Did I say any of this? no.... Are you suggesting that men and women who go out of their way for the poor, who give and give and travel and really know how to love...that just because they "dont believe in Jesus Christ, they are going to hell? because that is what Christianity is based on. I dont claim to have everything worked out but I know I dont believe God is a god who thows people into hell and lets people who "proclaim christ with their mouths" and murders, rapes and pillages into heaven??? its too narrow. God is a God is mystery, to have him figured out is impossible.

LOL, that would take too long. But saying you are no better than the other side doesn't really show any kind of morality. And there are more than two sides. I am not Conservative or Liberal. If you read many of my posts, you'll see me challenge and question Conservatives. But your words stuck in my mind, and I don't want to think of you as someone who despises other people. Also, you have this thing about "Big Government Policing" that Conservatives are always after, but you routinely advocate for the Big Government to confiscate legally purchased items. Something smells like hypocrite. How do you rectify your beliefs with each other?

Obviously God knew exactly what He needed to do in order to make Himself known to us and scripture is God doing exactly that. But God didn't stop there.

He also spiritually birthed us into His kingdom via Jesus Christ and imparted into us His Spirit.

So yes, I know God intellectually through His Word and also as a result of being birthed into His kingdom and spiritually reborn.

Just because one doesn't know everything there is to know about God does not equate to he is impossible to figure out. He makes Himself known to us genuine Christians both intellectually and spiritually. Your assertion is false.

Age, I wouldn't push it >.> Everyone knows the difference between right and wrong. Even my fiance' who believes in God has a skewed belief in Christianity that I pray will mature and go down the right path. He just can't accept the right answer and alot of "Christians" are like that because they need to surrender their hearts. You can't push someone to do it. I understand where you coming from Age and I agree with everything I have read from you, but I seriously think you shouldn't push it too far.
