What we Bible believers want to do is help Christians have better confidence in the word of God. How does having over 200 English translations that all contradict one another help us believe the Holy Bible?

The fact of the matter is that it doesn't. It creates confusion and also loopholes for certain sins.

You do not know of one person who became a Christian by simply reading the Bible?

I am sure there are plenty of testimonies of people who have gotten saved by simply reading the Bible.

Of course people can also get saved by reading a Gospel Tract. Or by hearing the preaching of the Gospel. And so forth.

No I do not.
But isnt reading a tract also Satanic? reading a tract is no different to reading the Gospels in NIV.
Well if you know the differences, then why don't you use and read the right Bible?

Don't you think that the Holy Spirit would lead you to the right Book?

Again, if all the translations are different. They all cannot be right. One of them has to be the right one.

If there was such thing as a perfect Bible then the HOly SPirit would have led me to it, but Holy SPirit has not. I am getting tired of repeating this to you and you continually ignore what I say, just like all members of a cult do.

You are so brainwashed with this cult you can not see it can you. There has never been or never will be a perfect Bible, that is not how God instends Christianity to be. Having a single translation is opening the door for all sorts of nonsense, you fail to comment on the examples I gave to this. The translation differences are insignificant,

Everyone else gets what I am saying, you dont as you are brainwashed and deluded. There are inconsitances, errors and contridictions in the King James. Each Bible translation differers slightly in the words chosen, so what, that is why we compare versions when study.

When you begin to open your eyes and realise that its the message of the Gospel that is important, which you agree with by saying people can be saved by reading a tract, then reading a NIV or other bible version will also have the same effect. People do not even care if certain words have a capital letter, many people can hardly read, so they are not going to worry about a capital letter for certain words are missing from the NIV etc they certainly are not going to loose sleep worrying over the NIV saying Rebekkah had a nose ring.

I will continue to read my many different Bible versions and be content to know that there is not Bible Version issue and Christ will certainly not be berating me or questioning me at the Judgement Seat, which you claim will happen. Evil lies and nonsense. I hope people stay clear from your cult.

And Agricola, if you don't think that there are corruptions in the modern bible versions, then check out this video segment of Bryan Denlinger's DVD "From NIV to KJV." He clearly shows the utter corruption that is in this edition of the NIV:

Here are Bryan Denlinger's own words (his words in blue) about this video:

Published on Dec 23, 2009
"This video is just a small part of my 2-part DVD called, "From NIV to KJV". In the video I discuss why I gave up my old NIV bible, for a King James Version. I used an NIV for 15 years, before I found out the truth."

And by the way, if after watching the video, you still do not see the obvious error and corruption that is in the modern versions, well then your wood is wet. Any Christian with an ounce of discernment should at least be able to detect the errors of the modern versions such as the NIV.

ChosenbyHim,

There are minor issues with every single translation because of the differences between Greek and English, also different cultures, idioms, etc, make it more difficult. But you told me that I would be judged if I didn't accept the KJV as the best and inspired version while rejecting all other versions.

I have a problem with that.

There you go again with your evil disgusting filth. THis is the typical classic behaviour of a cult, yet again you continue to claim Holy Spirit and God for yourselves, this is yet another post of yours which is using GOd as a weapon for your own agenda, that is claim that now I have been shown and do not agree with you then I must be in the wrong and theres something wrong with my spiritual walk with Christ.

You are yet again bringing about fear, condemnation and worry to more vunerable Christians who read what you say and watch the videos, do not see any problem, but think they must have a problem based on your filth and lies.

Agricola, are you aware that it is said that rat poison is made up of 99% of edible food, and about 1% or less poison?

The Devil is a master deceiver. That is what he does. The satanic bible by Anton Lavey is a joke compared to Satan's real bibles. Satan counterfeits. And when he does create a counterfeit, it is always very deceptive. Satan's bibles will contain enough truth in them to make a Christian think that it is a genuine bible, but what Satan also does is he mixes it with lies and error. That is exactly how he operates. And if Satan wanted to create a bible of his own, it would not look anything like the Satanic bible by Anton Lavey. Satan's real bible would look exactly like the true Holy Bible.

In regard to tracts, I only use tracts that publish the King James Bible Scriptures in them. Fellowship Tract League is a good tract ministry that only publishes Gospel tracts with Scriptures from the King James Bible.

If there was such thing as a perfect Bible then the HOly SPirit would have led me to it, but Holy SPirit has not. I am getting tired of repeating this to you and you continually ignore what I say, just like all members of a cult do.

There is such thing as a perfect Bible. Is our God perfect? Yes. Don't you think if our God is perfect, then don't you think that His holy word would also be pure and perfect?

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. - Psalm 19:7-9 (KJV)

You are so brainwashed with this cult you can not see it can you. There has never been or never will be a perfect Bible, that is not how God instends Christianity to be. Having a single translation is opening the door for all sorts of nonsense, you fail to comment on the examples I gave to this. The translation differences are insignificant,

Well that is not what Scripture teaches Agricola. The word of God is perfect. The Scriptures clearly teach this:

6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. - Psalm 12:6-7 (KJV)

7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. - Psalm 19:7 (KJV)

140 Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it. - Psalm 119:140 (KJV)

31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - 2 Samuel 22:31 (KJV)

Did you know that Psalm 12 is the 490th chapter of the Bible?

490 is the product of 70 x 7. Which is the number 70 multiplied by the number of perfection.

In Bible Numerics, the Number 7 is the number of perfection and divine completion. The number 7 is God's number of perfection. It signifies completion and perfection in God's eyes.

When God said: "
Let us make man in our image" this phrase has 7 words.

The first book of the Old Testament (Genesis) has 7 letters. The first book of the New Testament (Matthew) also has 7 letters.

The phrase: "the word of the LORD" is found 245 times in the Old Testament in the King James Bible

245 is the product of 7 x 7 x 5. You have the number of perfection multiplied to itself and then multiplied by the number 5.

The phrase "word of God" is found 49 times in the entire King James Bible. 49 is the product of 7 x 7.

The phrase "Thus saith the LORD of hosts" is found 70 times in the King James Bible.

the word "book" is found 188 times in the Authorized Version. The word "books" is found 8 times.

So if you add both together, that is 196! Which is the product of 49 x 4.

These Numerical codes are internal witnesses that bear witness to the fact that the King James Holy Bible is God's supernatural and perfect Book.

Also, what example did I fail to comment on Agricola?

Everyone else gets what I am saying, you dont as you are brainwashed and deluded. There are inconsitances, errors and contridictions in the King James. Each Bible translation differers slightly in the words chosen, so what, that is why we compare versions when study.

Agricola, if you want to compare bible versions then go ahead and do so. But what I am trying to get you to see is that there needs to be a perfect standard in which we can judge all others by. Because if there is no perfect standard, well then it is up to us to determine what the Bible should say. In other words, we become the Final Authority by default if there is no perfect Bible and no absolute standard of truth. That is the issue here Agricola. And that is what I have been saying all along. The Bible Version Issue is an issue over Final Authority.

Again, what the real issue here that is being discussed is whether or not we have the pure words of the living God. It is whether a Christian can know for sure what God said. Remember Agricola, God promised to preserve His words (Psalm 12:6-7). Not the message. But the words.

I will continue to read my many different Bible versions and be content to know that there is not Bible Version issue and Christ will certainly not be berating me or questioning me at the Judgement Seat, which you claim will happen. Evil lies and nonsense. I hope people stay clear from your cult.

Agricola, there is clearly a Bible Version Issue and it is clear that these modern bible perversions have changed the truth of God into a lie, just as Romans 1:25 says they do.

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. - Romans 1:25 (KJV)

And we all are going to give account at the Judgement Seat of Christ. There will be a judgment for Christians. But it will be a judgment of our works after salvation:

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. - Romans 14:10-12 (KJV)

11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. - 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 (KJV)

Your cult behaves like all other cults, it looks like a cult smells like a cult, that is because it is a cult, like all other cults you base your whole belief on one or two single verses and build a ridiculous belief and theology around it, condemning all others as wrong and heretics if they do not believe the same as you, and that they can only be pure good Christians if they join you, that is also called indoctrination, which is against the rules of this forum.

We will not be judged for what kind of bible we read,we will however for not giving your heart truly to Christ. He knows who has or has not. Also we are not responsible for all of this.God clearly states in the end of Revelation those responsible will be which we are not.We are best to focus on our hearts with Christ and if he will find that acceptable.I have a really hard time Christ will say away from me you did not read the right bible. No way it will be on how you walked with him in your life, and if that was real.

Letti, no Christian is going to be told to depart at the Judgment Seat of Christ. The purpose of the Judgment Seat of Christ is to judge a Christian's work and service for the Lord after salvation.

It seems like you are getting the Judgment Seat of Christ mixed up with the Great White Throne Judgment. The Judgment Seat of Christ and the Great White Throne Judgement are two different judgments.

At the Judgment Seat of Christ, a Christian has his works judged and tried by fire ( see 1 Cor. 3).

And the Great White Throne Judgment is the judgement of the damned. All lost sinners will have their sins judged at the Great White Throne Judgment.

So don't get the those two different judgments mixed up.

And what you need to understand Letti, is that we are accountable to God. And we are going to give an account for our service to the Lord while on earth (Rom.14:10-12 & 2 Cor. 5:10).

The modern versions are Vatican versions.

All issues will be settled at the Judgment Seat of Christ. And the Bible Version Issue will definitely be one of those issues. And it is important that a Christian reads the right Bible. If a Christian wants to grow spiritually and if he wants to be thoroughly equipped in his Christian life to run the race and finish it, well then that Christian needs the right Bible. And the Authorized King James Bible is that Bible. It is the Book of all books. I encourage and exhort you Letti ti get yourself a King James Bible if you don't have one already. And read it, study it meditate on it, and believe it.

Danschance, every Christian will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. Every Christian will have their works judged (2 Cor. 5:10).

And what I said is that if a Christian knows about the Bible Version Issue and continues in error even though he's already been shown the truth on the Bible Version Issue. Then yes he will answer for it.

If a Christian continues to stand for and defend the modern versions even though he has been shown how the modern versions like the NIV turns Jesus into Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12, and how the modern versions turn Jesus into a sinner in Matthew 5:22 by removing the phrase: "without a cause." And how the modern versions such as the NIV, ESV, NASB, NLT, Holman Christian Standard and others remove the last part of the words of the Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 4:4.

If a Christian learns about this issue and the attacks on the Lord Jesus Christ that are done by the modern versions, and continues to defend them even though he's been shown the truth. Even though he knows how they distort important doctrines such as the Godhead, the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the blood atonement, and salvation. Well then yes that Christian will give an answer for it.

Danschance, I am not going to sugarcoat the truth. If you have a problem with that, well then you have a problem with the truth.

There are other things that we as Christians will have to answer for, such as missed opportunities to witness, missed opportunities to confess Christ, missed opportunities to deny ourselves and to take up our cross and so forth. You know as Christians we do have a perfect standard and that perfect standard is God's holy word. We have a perfect Book that teaches us how we are to live on this earth. And it has everything that we need as Christians to be completely equipped and to live a truly victorious Christian life. So yes I believe we also will give account of how we conformed to God's word and how we regarded it. And also whether or not we believed His Book.

1) Your bible version issue is pure myth in your own mind which has now turned itself into a cult mindset.

2) This response to me is nothing but you looking down your judgmental, self righteous, hypocritical nose at me and all who disagree with you. We are not called to condemn others, but this seems to be your second favorite past time of yours.

No Danschance, it is pure fact. It is an undeniable fact that the modern versions are indeed Vatican versions. They are counterfeits. Go and read some of Brandplucked's articles on this issue. Do some studying.

Its not about whether you agree with me or not. This issue is about Final Written Authority.

And it is a very serious issue.

Forum and Chat rules.

6. No unauthorized advertising or soliciting or recruiting.
Please come to our chat rooms and forums for fellowship, not to try to advertise anything (not even in private messages to our chat room visitors) or recruit people for anything. By "anything" we mean anything -- web sites, chat rooms, forums, facebook groups, churches, groups, doctrine, etc.
--
Chosen by him is nothing more than recruiting people, all be it subtly and with deceit, for his own group and forcing people to follow his doctrine by fear, as in threatening them that if people do not follow King James Only Cult and thier teaching, they will have to answer to Christ for it at Judgement day.

Further Chosenbyhim uses the typical cult tactic of claiming they are 100% correct and Jesus and Holy SPirit are only siding with them, therefore anyone who reject the so called Bible Issue and the Cult of King James Only, is not going to be Spiritually sound and will have their spiritual life stifled, so the only way to be 100% with God is to join the cult and stick with only the King James of 1611. This is nothing more than recruitment propaganda and simply causes people to doubt their spiritual walk with Jesus.

This cult is based on cherry picking a couple of verses and totally distorting thier meaning, then trying to find a way to work the King James 1611 version into the Paslm verse, some incredible juggling and disregarding of other Bible versions had to take place in order for the 7 times thing to fit.

The other verse they pick on as "proof" that all future versions of Bibles are corrupt from Satan is the aforementioned Isaiah
14:12 and there are pages of posts on other threads which go into the whole "morning star" thing along with pages about the use of a capital M and S.

Is this how CHristianity is meant to be? NO. This is nothing more than the rantings of a cult which you should all stay clear off.

Here we have it in CHosenbyhim's own words, trying to recruit people to his group through fear and lies and telling people to Read a King James bible and believe it. If this is not recruitment then what is.
All issues will be settled at the Judgement Seat of Christ. And the Bible Version Issue will definitely be one of those issues. And it is important that a Christian reads the right Bible. Chosenbyhim, You certainly have to work hard to keep your belief that there is such a thing as pure perfect Bible intact dont you, that alone should tell you that you are 100% wrong.

Actually it is quite simple to believe that there is a perfect Bible. Since the very fact that God is perfect and holy. Then also His word also must be perfect. And of course it is perfect.

You are so caught up in this cult and so deluded that you can not even yield anything and yet again you ignore most of what I have given you.

And didn't I ask you in my last post, what have I missed? What is it that I have ignored Agricola?

The King James Bible is a good read, but its flawed. Things do not make sense in the King James, its only until I read the corresponding passages in likes of NIV that it becomes clear.

How is it flawed? Are you aware Agricola, that just about all the objections brought up against the King James Bible have been answered? The alleged contradictions can be answered by simply studying and comparing Scripture with Scripture In other words, there are contradictions in the King James Bible. Not one.

If there is something that you are not understanding in the King James Bible, well may I suggest something Agricola. Why don't you ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding of His word.

How on earth does Psalm 12:6-7
mean that King James is the perfect Bible? RIdiculous. Utterly ridiculous as I have shown you many times.

Not it is not ridiculous. Psalm 12 is a clear passage on word preservation. It is a clear contrast between the words of men and the pure words of God.

In Psalm 12, it is God who is doing the preserving of His words. Not man. It is God Himself who is in charge of preserving His words. And if God preserved His words down through the centuries. Then we have them. We have His words. For a person that does not believe the Bible is perfect, I will simply ask them, where are the words of God then.

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. - John 14:23 (KJV)

Agricola, how we keep God's words, if we don't have them?

What we King James Bible believers know is that we do have God's words, the words of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the Authorized King James Holy Bible. The evidence internal and external points to the King James Bible as being the preserved, pure and perfect word of God.

4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. - 2 Timothy 4:1-4 (KJV)

We are commanded to preach the word. So we must have the word.

Notice that the passage does not say preach the original manuscripts. The passage says to preach the word.

SO if the words of The Lord are so pure, then how come its taken thousands of years before God has given us a pure form of Jesus Words? That does not make sense at all.

Consider this Agricola. Was the compete word of God (Genesis to Revelation) given at the very early years in mankind? Like let's say back in Noah's time? Or how about Abraham's time? Or what about king David's time?

When I checked; it is estimated that the Bible took a process of between 1400 to 1800 years to write. It took a long process, for us to get God's word into our hands. Just keep that in mind Agricola.

Are you also aware that when the Lord Jesus Christ was on this earth serving the Father in His ministry in Jerusalem, that the New Testament had not been written yet? Now they had the Old Testament, but that was it at the time.

So if it took a period of 1400 to 1800 years for the whole Bible to be written by 40 different authors, well then don't you think it might take some time for the purifying of God's words?

It wasn't until the first century AD, that we finally had the Complete Canon of Scripture (Both Old and New Testament).

And I believe God chose to let it happen that way. Being that He is sovereign.

Agricola, have you even considered the corruptions that are made in the modern version? Have you even watched the video that I posted where brother Bryan Denlinger shows the errors and corruptions of the NIV?

Probably not. You know Agricola, if you are going to attack my belief as being ridiculous and say that I am a part of some cult simply because I expose the errors and corruption of the modern versions and I stand and defend the pure and inerrant word of God, which is the Authorized King James Bible. Then at least look at the evidence that is given. At least watch the video. Because if you don't, well then that just shows that you are afraid that the position you stand for may be wrong. That is why a lot of the Alexandrians cannot take a rebuke. They cannot handle a lot of times the information that is given on this issue. So what they do is resort to name calling. Be mature Agricola. And at least look at the facts and consider them.

You know what's interesting; last time I checked, there have not been any revisions or updating, or new translations of the United States Constitution. Isn't that something? I never heard a Senator or a politician say "we need to update the spelling of our Constitution, we need to make a new translation of it."

Also, I have never heard of anyone trying to update the "archaic" language of Shakespeare.

You know what that means Agricola? That means that the lost world and a lot of the modern professing Christians have more respect for the words of men then they do the words of God!

What a shame. So the next time one of these wicked men behind these secular publishing companies want to give us another "new" translation of the Bible, also ask them to modify the work of Shakespeare. Ask them to make a "New" translation of Shakespeare also.

Amen. - Romans 1:25 (KJV)
oh....wow.

like....how serious is this that you take that passage and apply it to people who did not (since it didn't exist); have not (they heard the gospel of their salvation preached through 'another translation'); can not read the KJV 1611 (archaic english or modernized english) because they do not SPEAK or UNDERSTAND ENGLISH.

was Paul preaching from the KJV here or what?

what's he talking about here: "the gospel of God, which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy Scriptures" - were those holy scriptures translated and printed in England 1500+ years after Paul received and delivered this message?

Romans 1
The Gospel Exalted
1Paul, a bond-servant of Christ Jesus, called as an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God, 2which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy Scriptures, 3concerning His Son, who was born of a descendant of David according to the flesh, 4who was declared the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead, according to the Spirit of holiness, Jesus Christ our Lord, 5through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name’s sake, 6among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;
7to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world. 9For God, whom I serve in my spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you, 10always in my prayers making request, if perhaps now at last by the will of God I may succeed in coming to you. 11For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; 12that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other’s faith, both yours and mine. 13I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that often I have planned to come to you (and have been prevented so far) so that I may obtain some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles. 14I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish. 15So, for my part, I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.

16For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”

Unbelief and Its Consequences

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

24Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. 25For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.

28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

......

nope - not one thing in there about Christians being saved and sanctified according to any given translation - NOT being saved or sanctified or even being in TROUBLE because they don't use the KJV...

Romans 1
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

like....the jews who heard the Gospel first - it was in 1611 - in English?
and then the Greek - in English? serious?

anyways - here's the source of your warning....in the KJV.
ironic.

Yet again another huge posting by ChosenbyHim to prove he is correct and everyone else is wrong.

Actually it is quite simple to believe that there is a perfect Bible. Since the very fact that God is perfect and holy. Then also His word also must be perfect. And of course it is perfect.

Yes the perfection came off of Paul's pen and everyone elses. It did not take 1600 years to perfect.

When will you learn its the message that counts, not having every puncutaion, capital letter and so on in place.

You do know that people beleive all sorts of things, and have "proof" for it, just because you beleive something dosnt make it true.

Some people beleive that we never went to the moon and provide evidence for it and write books about it, is it true? They think it is so it must be true.

This is what you are doing with your cult, you think its true and therefore it must be true, when the evidence of the "truth" is actully a smattering of verses across the Bible and manipulated totally out of recognition to what they really mean.

I will never embrace King James only cult and its beliefs, it is a lie from a deluded cult that its the perfect final version.

--

Well I have read these rules before sir. And I do appreciate that you are posting one of them just in case I or anyone else may have forgotten what they entail.

All I am doing is sharing information on the Bible Version Issue. And then let people decide for themselves what they want to do with the information. It is the same thing when I defend the doctrine of the Pre-trib Rapture. Or Eternal Security.

You see Agricola, any discussion. Especially any Doctrinal discussion is going to involve both agreements and disagreements from both sides of the issue. And that includes the Bible Version Issue. There are Christians that believe that the Apostolic sign gifts around, and yet there are Christians that believe that they have ceased and that they are no longer around. I also believe that the Apostolic Sign Gifts are gone. Because when you study the Bible and rightly divide it, that is clear what it teaches.

There are some Christians who believe in Eternal Security, while others do not believe it. It is sad that there are a lot of Christians who do not believe the Biblical Doctrine of Eternal Security for the true born again Christian. But it is what it is.

And then like I said before, there are some Christians who believe in the Pre-trib. Rapture and then you have Christians who believe in a post trib, Rapture. Some believe in a Mid-Trib rapture. And so what you have in each debate or discussion is people from both sides sharing why they believe what they believe, while also offering evidence from the Scriptures. This is with any Doctrinal discussion Agricola.

So to be to fair Agricola. If you consider me as trying to "recruit" people in one Doctrinal issue, then by your reasoning I also must be trying to "recruit" people to the other doctrinal issues that I discuss.

I mean I'll go back to the Pre-trib. vs. post-trib. argument. The Christians on the pre-trib. side are trying to get the Christians on the post trib. side to see why their side is right and why the other side is wrong. It is that simple. It works the same way in the Bible Version Issue. I am trying to help Christians to see why they can trust and believe that we have a perfect Bible today and why God has kept His promise to keep and preserve His pure words.

Chosen by him is nothing more than recruiting people, all be it subtly and with deceit, for his own group and forcing people to follow his doctrine by fear, as in threatening them that if people do not follow King James Only Cult and thier teaching, they will have to answer to Christ for it at Judgement day.

Well then again Agricola, by your own logic, I must be also recruiting people to the Pre-trib. Rapture position. And by the way, there will be a pre-trib. The King James Bible teaches a pre-trib. Rapture.

And Agricola, all I am saying is that we as Christians are held accountable for the amount of truth we've been given. That is a fact. That is not some fear tactic.

But since you brought up fear into this discussion. I can't ask about these modern times because of the great apostasy and everything. But let me ask you Agricola as I see that you are a bit older than I am. I am sure you remember the days when a lot of churches were still preaching on Hell and Judgment to come. How do you suppose a lot of the people got saved back then when they heard about Hell and Damnation to the lost? Do you think that put some fear in them? I would say yes. You see Agricola, the right kind of fear is actually a good and healthy thing. The Bible tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). And can I tell you why America is in the rotten condition it is today? It because has ceased to fear God. That is why.

You see what a lot of preachers did back in the old days is they preached the truth. They preached against false religions like Catholicism. And they knew that the pope was the vicar of Hell. They knew that Mormonism was wrong. You see, they stood for the truth. They stood for the word of God.

And here is another thing Agricola, a lot of times the truth is negative. It is not all positive. The truth is that most people will die and go to Hell. See, it is not all positive. Now they did not have to go to hell. Don't fall for the lie that the Calvinists teach that some are predestined to hell and they have no say in it. That is baloney. Total nonsense. No one is predestined to go to hell. What damns a man to hell is his rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ. God gives every man and woman a decision. Why? Because God is love. And because He is love, He gives us free will.

Even the Gospel is not all positive. It is both negative and positive.

3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins (Negative) according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, (Negative) and that he rose again (Positive) the third day according to the scriptures: - 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (KJV)

See? Even the Gospel is both Negative and Positive. And because I share the truth on the Bible Version Issue and because there are both positives and negatives on this issue, you claim and accuse me of using fear tactics.

Your accusation and argument against me Agricola is similar to the accusation that a lost Christ rejecting sinner makes at a street preacher who is preaching on Hell. That lost person will say to the preacher: "your just tying to scare me" or "you are guilty of hate speech."

Agricola, I have repeated this time and time again. If a person wants to continue using the new versions then that is them. They are their own person. All I know is that when I was shown the truth. I was thankful and appreciative enough to God, that I made a change. I decided that I was not going to use the modern versions that can be traced back to the Roman Catholic church. I decided to stick with the English Text of the Protestant Reformation and to reject the Jesuit Rheims Greek text of Westcott and Hort.

This cult is based on cherry picking a couple of verses and totally distorting thier meaning, then trying to find a way to work the King James 1611 version into the Paslm verse, some incredible juggling and disregarding of other Bible versions had to take place in order for the 7 times thing to fit.

Well then Agricola, where are the words which God preserved? God promised to preserve His words. If it is not the King James Bible, then what Bible is it?

The other verse they pick on as "proof" that all future versions of Bibles are corrupt from Satan is the aforementioned Isaiah
14:12 and there are pages of posts on other threads which go into the whole "morning star" thing along with pages about the use of a capital M and S.

And here is a rebuttal to those people who are trying to justify the attack on the Lord Jesus Christ made by the modern versions in Isaiah 14:12.

Should the Bible say Lucifer or morning star in Isaiah 14:12? And does it refer to Satan?

And Brandplucked also has a good article he has written in showing why Lucifer is the correct translation and morning star is the wrong and corrupt translation. It can be seen here:

Lucifer or Morning Star? - Another King James Bible Believer

Is this how CHristianity is meant to be? NO. This is nothing more than the rantings of a cult which you should all stay clear off.

I seriously doubt that you have really taken the time to look into both sides of this issue Agricola. All you are doing is repeating the same nonsense over and over.

Here we have it in CHosenbyhim's own words, trying to recruit people to his group through fear and lies and telling people to Read a King James bible and believe it. If this is not recruitment then what is.

I encouraged and exhorted my sister in Christ to get herself a King James Bible and to read it and to believe it.

Using encouragement and exhortation is not using a fear tactic Agricola. Letti is a grown Christian woman who can do what she chooses to do. All I am doing is encouraging her to believe God's Book. Which is the Authorized King James Bible.

So if it took a period of 1400 to 1800 years for the whole Bible to be written by 40 different authors, well then don't you think it might take some time for the purifying of God's words?
Then all Bibles written 1400 to 1800 years after the completion of the New Testament are pure. If we assume a starting date of A.D. 70, then the following Bibles are the pure word of God:
1531 Tyndale Bible, 1535 Coverdale Bible, 1537 Matthew Bible, 1539 Great Bible, 1560 Geneva Bible, 1568 Bishops' Bible, 1611 & 1769 King James Bible

You've declared the 1394 Wycliffe Bible to be outside of the pure word of God!

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Probably not. You know Agricola, if you are going to attack my belief as being ridiculous and say that I am a part of some cult simply because I expose the errors and corruption of the modern versions and I stand and defend the pure and inerrant word of God, which is the Authorized King James Bible.

That way people will worship ChosenByHim and Peter Ruckman and Gail Riplinger.

Isn't that the real reason for all of this, ChosenByHim, to be worshipped?

Luke 14:10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee. (KJV PCE)

Luke 14:10 But when you are invited, take the lowest place, so that when your host comes, he will say to you, ‘Friend, move up to a better place.’ Then you will be honored in the presence of all the other guests. (NIV)

This is very strong delusion.

The US Constitution and Shakespeare were
original works written in Modern English. We still use Modern English in 2013 in the UK and USA, there is no reason to update any work that was written in Modern English.

All editions of the King James Bible are translated from other languages. All modern Bibles are translated from other languages.

The work was given to the public in 1611, in a folio volume printed in black letter, the full title as follows:

THE / HOLY / BIBLE, / Conteyning the Old Testa- / ment, and the New, / ¶ Newly Translated out of / the Originall Tongues: and with the former Translations diligently / compared and reuised, by his / Maiesties speciall Com- / mandement. | ¶ Appointed to be read in Churches / ¶ IMPRINTED at London by Robert / Barker, Printer to the / Kings most excellent / Maiestie / ANNO DOM. 1611."

AS I keep on telling you, if you can not get basic facts right and are unable to do basic study or research then I will ignore everything else you have to say, as I keep saying, if someone thinks say 230+230 =250 then you can not trust them to teach you math.

This rant about shakespeare, did you think this all by yourself or is it something your cult drums into you? Only you really should check your so called facts before stating them as fact and making stupid statements about it.

What do you make of your facts now? (See image)

No Praus, not all bibles are pure. For a Bible to be pure it must be translated form the proper Hebrew and Greek texts. There are counterfeit bibles that come from the corrupt Siniaticus and Vaticanus mansucripts. Those two corrupt manuscripts can be traced all the way back to Origen and Clement of Alexandrian who both were heretics and Gnostics. And by the way, just study the heretical beliefs of Origen and that should be enough to tell you that the Siniaticus and Vaticanus Greek manuscripts are totally corrupt and unreliable.

Now having said that, the English Bibles that came prior to the King James Bible that you listed. And I will list them here in my post also: The English Bibles: 1531 Tyndale Bible, 1535 Coverdale Bible, 1537 Matthew Bible, 1539 Great Bible, 1560 Geneva Bible, 1568 Bishop's Bible were all pure Bibles. And of course they led to the perfection of the King James Bible.

Perfection is completion. The English language during the 15th and 16th century had not yet been completed.

So there were pure Bibles before the 1611 King James Holy Bible that had God's light in them.

Perfection is a process.

Did you know that Jesus came to perfection through a process?

5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;
8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec. - Hebrews 9:5-10 (KJV).

So just as Jesus Christ (the Word manifest) had to be made perfect so also the Bible itself had to be made perfect.
