Mattithyah 5:17-20, "Do not even think that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to destroy them, but to establish them. For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh--the smallest of the letters--will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected. Whosoever, therefore, will break one of the least of these Laws, and will teach men so, he will be called the least in the Kingdom of Yahweh; but whosoever will do and teach them, the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Yahweh. For I say to you: Unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will certainly not enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh."

Why would the Messiah want people to do and teach something that was done away? ("but whosoever will do and teach them")

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices breaking the Law."

None can say they follow the Messiah and say this verse is not true and binding. ("Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city")

I take these very seriously, these are the words of the Messiah, my King, how can he be my King if I don't subject myself to what He says?

There is a before and after the cross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Distinct it is.
Before under Law
After in grace and made righteous through Christ, then if you agree with God, God makes you new
Colossians 1:22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—

[h=3]Colossians 1:21-23[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]21 [/SUP]And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled [SUP]22 [/SUP]in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— [SUP]23 [/SUP]if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.

We are living in a time when we are told lawlessness will prevail. You can see it growing, here, and well meaning people who love the Lord are helping. In order for lawlessness to prevail, the church must go soft on sin while still believing they are true to God. The devil is accomplishing this, and using scripture to do it.

It is the same method the devil used when Christ was tempted in the desert, he quotes scripture and says tells Christ He can obey satan and stay within scripture. Christ said no, for other scriptures had to be considered. No, Christ would not jump from a high place even if God would protect him, for instance, for that would be ignoring other scripture.

So on Christian chat people are quoting scripture and saying that it says we can ignore God's Law. The forces against God are working. It is like Jesus being tempted. And the answer is, like Jesus said, no we cannot for God says no.

Our world is paying dearly for these ideas about God's word, but soon Christ will come again. We are the remnant who will live.

Through believing God fulfilled it for you, God manifests in you God's Love, where there is nothing against Law in Love of God. Born again Sister in the Spirit not the flesh
Love to you

I agree

If one has accepted the Yahshua the Messiah, they are not a servant of sin any longer, they are changed and have a desire to be obedient to Yahweh. Not that they are instantly above all temptation, but they no longer desire those things. I know this is real as I have seen it in a number of poeple. I have also seen people claim to be following the Messiah but sitll want all the worldly stuff, so I think true self-evaluation is in order and if one sees some problems, it's possible they havent humbled themselves beofre Yahweh. I can tell you I went through this before, where I thought I was walking the walk with Yahweh and realized I still had much change need. Thank Yahweh that change continues to come.

For I believe God
Romans 14:4 Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.

Also the same guy that wrote your quote wrote this:

Titus 1:9, "Holding fast the teaching according to the faithful word in order that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and to refute those who contradict."

Was I judging or refuting and urging one to obedience to Yahweh?

I did not say they are not going to have eternal life or they dont deserve it. If someone says they follow the Messiah but do the oppisite it pretty simple.

1 Yahchanan 2:4, "He who says: I know Him, but does not keep His Law, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."

2 Timothy 4:2-3, "Preach the word Be instant; ready to take your positions in season, out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts they will heap to themselves teachers, who will tickle their ears."

Modern teaching says dont rebuke, allow your brother to continue in his sin!

Leviticus 19:17, "You shall not hate your neighbor in your heart. Rebuke your brother or your sister frankly, so you will not share in his or her guilt."

Luke 17:3-4, "So be on your guard! If your brother trespasses against you, rebuke him! But if he repents, forgive him! And if he trespasses against you seven times in one day, and seven times in that day turns to you, and says; I repent; then you must forgive him."

Proverbs 10:17, "He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, but he who refuses reproof goes astray."

Modern teaching says dont rebuke, allow your brother to continue in his sin! and this clears the path for the mystery of iniquity.

in the begining God created the heavens and the earth seperated the darkness from the ligtht called it night and day like the moon and the sun each comes indicating time of day also setting for signs of days months years sepaerating the aweet waters from salty waters like unto the land from the sea also creating man from woman for it is written that man is the glory of God and woman is the glory of man that is why the woman is to be in subjection to the man not necesarily because eve has sinned because God has ordained it now the sabath is set as a commandment since the begining of time and not just in the commandments of the law of moses his commandments are eternal and our God is blessed to be praised his sabath is even observed in the future kingdom :Isa 66:20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
Isa 66:21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.
Isa 66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.
Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. " the commandments of God are eternal" lets look at the fruits of the spirit
Gal 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Gal 5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
Gal 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Gal 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Gal 5:7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
Gal 5:8 This persuasion cometh not of him that calleth you.
Gal 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Gal 5:10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
Gal 5:11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
Gal 5:12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
Gal 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Gal 5:15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
Gal 5:16This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Gal 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
"NOW LETS LOOK AT VERSE 23 AND 24 :
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
NOW SIN IS THE TRANGRESSION OF GOD"S LAW NOT THE LAW OF MOSES BUT GOD"S ETERNAL LAW LETS LOOK AT THE TEN COMMANDMENTS :
Deu 5:6 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Deu 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Deu 5:8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:
Deu 5:9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me,
Deu 5:10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
Deu 5:11 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Deu 5:12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.
Deu 5:13 Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work:
Deu 5:14 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou.
Deu 5:15 And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.
Deu 5:16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Deu 5:17 Thou shalt not kill.
Deu 5:18 Neither shalt thou commit adultery.
Deu 5:19 Neither shalt thou steal.
Deu 5:20 Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Deu 5:21 Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's.
ALL THESE COMMANDMENTS ARE COVERED IN FULLFILLING THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT BUT WE IGNORE THE SABATH WE ARE GOD"S RIGHTEOUS AND THE RIGHTEPOUS WILL DO ALL TO PLEASE OUR ETERNAL FATHER JUST AS OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST DID ON EARTH NOW THE SABATH IS ESTABLISHED FROM ETERNAL EVEN BEFORE ABRAHAM FROM THE BEGINING ALONG WITH THE TEN COMMANDMENT I WILL SHOW YOU READ THE TEN COMMANDMENTS :
Deu 5:6 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
Deu 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
Deu 5:8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth:

Deu 5:11 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
Deu 5:12 Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee.

NOW READ THIS:
Gal 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
THES COMAANDMENTS ARE ETERNAL BUT THE GRACE OF OUR LORD IS WHAT SAVES US BY HIS BLODD ON THE CROSS TO BRING US TO THE FULL UNDERSTANDING OF HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS NOT SIMPLY BY OUR WORKS BUT BE NOT IGNORANT OF THE TRUTH IN HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS OF gOD"S SPIRIT FOR IT IS WRITTEN THE LAW CAME THROUGH MOSES BUDT GRACE AND TRUTH THROUGH JESUS CHRIST NOTICE THE WORTH TRUTH AND WRITTEN ALSO IN PSALMS TRUTH IS THY SHIELD AND BUCKLER AND IN ANOTHER PLACE THE SHIELD OF FAITH AND THE BUCKLER THE WORD BUTTHE LAW IS FULLFILLED IN THIS BUT DOES NOT NULLIFY HIS COMMANDMENTS
and they are burned.
Joh 15:7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
Joh 15:8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Joh 15:9As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Joh 15:10If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Joh 15:11These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, andthatyour joy might be full.
Joh 15:12This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. THE LOVE OF CHRIST IS BEST DESCRIBED NOT JUST IN AFFECTION BUT READ THIS :
1Jn 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
1Jn 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
1Jn 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
1Jn 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
1Jn 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
1Jn 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
1Jn 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
1Jn 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
1Jn 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
1Jn 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
1Jn 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
1Jn 3:19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
1Jn 3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
1Jn 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. NOW OBSERVE CAREFULLY :
1Jn 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. WE SHOW THE LOVE OF CHRIST BY OBEYING ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS IN LOVE KINDNESS OF ALL THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT IN ALL HOLINESS CARING FOR OUR SOULS BY ABEYING GOD AND CARING FOR ONE ANOTHER BY KEEPING A CLEAN TESTIMONY TO BE A STRENGTH TO ONE ANOTHER IN BEARING ONE ANOTHERS BURDENS AS WELL AS OUR JOYS FOR HTIS IS THE LOVE OF CHRIST IF WE BE OF CHRIST WE WILL KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS IN LOVE OF CHRIST WE WALK PEACE BE UNTO YOU ALL

I did not intend any accusations of what you said, only commented on it. for some reason you took offense and no offense was intended. YES, if you love Christ, as he describes love, you will henceforth fulfill the laws.

Just like if you jump in the pool, you will be wet.

But if you stand outside the pool and say LOOK I AM WET THEREFORE I AM IN THE POOL, you'll be as wrong as you saying you obey the commandments so you can claim to love Him.

You gottit backards, unless I really really read this wrong.

Love is number 1.

According to the Scriptures there is only 1 way to love, dont shoot me all im doing is quoting

1 Yahchanan (John) 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh: When we love Yahweh by keeping His Laws. For this is the llove of Yahweh: That we keep His 5,mLaw, and His Law is not grievous."

Go read 1 j 4:16-18.

Then see if you can find a way to Him without loving.

If you get the love right, as I see it, all else is gravy.

Agreed, have I said different and thanks for those verses perfect

[h=3]1 John 4:16-18[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. [SUP]17 [/SUP]This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. [SUP]18 [/SUP]There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

I think you are reading it wrong, at least from what I read, did you also read me wrong, maybe. I am secure and csecure snuggled up in his arms, Father's through Christ's finished work for me, and for the whole world.
[h=3]1 John 2:1-2[/h]New International Version (NIV)

2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. [SUP]2 [/SUP]He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

No shooting it is scripture, yet let's finish it,
[h=3]1 John 5[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[h=3]Faith in the Incarnate Son of God[/h]5Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. [SUP]2 [/SUP]This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. [SUP]3 [/SUP]In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, [SUP]4 [/SUP]for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. [SUP]5 [/SUP]Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God

Not burdensome. Is Faith (belief) in God actually burdensome? Either one believes, Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life to Father or not. Pretty simple, not burdensome. So to you all LOVE you whether you go to whatever place of worship you go to, God loves you too, proven through the Christ.
Thanks

Agape is defined as not doing worthless things to one's neighbor:

Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Romans 13:10

Therefore, if one chooses to refrain from doing something that would hurt his neighbor, that one has loved his neighbor.

Why do you rewrite the Bible to suit your needs. I find that highly offensive. NOT that you change it, that's between you and God. Scriptures says bad things bout those that do so. I'm offended you think we are stupid enough to not note the one key word change.

IF YOU LOVE GOD YOU KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS AS A RESULT OF THAT LOVE, NOT TO PROVE YOU LOVE HIM.

If you jump in the water you are wet: If you are Wet, you aren't necessarily IN the water.

If you Love Him, you keep the Com.. as a result: If you keep His commandments you do not necessarily love Him.

The Gestappo were evil Jew killing men. If you were in the Gestappo you weren't necessarily such, because they would kill you if you didn't do as you were told. So you obeyed them for different reasons.

WHY DO YOU WRITE THE BIBLE TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS!!!!!

I think you are reading it wrong, at least from what I read, did you also read me wrong, maybe. I am secure and csecure snuggled up in his arms, Father's through Christ's finished work for me, and for the whole world.
1 John 2:1-2

New International Version (NIV)

2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. [SUP]2 [/SUP]He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

The comment you quoted here wasn't to you...?

The verse you posted, should not be separated from 1 1:3-2:5. That's one thought through that whole spread. He wrote the letter so they could be in fellowship with God, because they were not yet. BUT They had Christ as their mediator, so they obviously were.... "SAVED" whatever that means..... They weren't yet in fellowship.

What does that take?

Walk in the light AS HE DOES. Does HE sin? nope, They still sinned though. John wrote around 2:5-8 that they were nearly there, they needed a little more darkness washed from their walk.

They wouldn't be in fellowship with God until they did not sin any longer. Indeed if they still sinned, they did not yet KNOW HIM *(much less be in fellowship) and had not met him. 3:6.

So the letter was written so they MAY NOT SIN, because he hoped for them to be in fellowship that would make His Joy complete.

I'm not sure why 1 j is in here, but I commented anyway. :P

Ok. however you read it. :)

Christ taught if you loved you were doing something.

The ones that went to heaven in the following parable did something. The others didn't. matt 25, last parable.

YOu sit back and do nothing, and maybe I'll remember to pray for you.

Gal 5:6.

If you have a problem with Law or Commandment being interchangeable, you may like to know Yahshua used them interchangably also:

Mattithyah 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

He called these 2 "commandments"

They are Laws from the "OT":

Deuteronomy 6:5, "And you must love Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might."

Leviticus 19:18, "Do not seek revenge nor bear a grudge against one of your own people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh."

Also these are not against the 10 Commandments:

For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers
