As you said in the earlier thread, Mohammad is the founder of Islam... When did he found it, during Abraham days or after resurrection of Jesus?
Your Logic that their God is the God of Abraham is true provided that they were in the days of Abraham when they were founded...
You see the God of Abraham, Is also the God of Isaac and Jacob, Who sent His Son Jesus the Messiah. (This is the God known in Christianity even before Mohammad founded Islam not just god of Abraham)
Islam choose a different god, Coz their god does not have a Son...
But since Catechism teaches and you insist that they are the same...Maybe you do worship the god of Muslim.

The term 'Muhammad' was not even a proper name at the time that the Koran was written....it was a participle meaning 'Praised One' and referred to the Biblical Jesus Christ in the four times that it is used in the Koran.
There is a true Koranic Muhammad and a fake islamic Muhammad.
Unfortunately, islam has decided to follow the fictitious one...

actually I did not ignore that, I did reply about the Catholics asking God for forgiveness...and that Catholics do ask Mary for deliverance and forgiveness as well.
I hope others will post their list as well..

I don’t know where you get your “facts” but the above statement is incorrect. Mohammed was the son of Abdullah and Amina. He never knew his father. His mother died when he was 6 years old and was put in the care of his grandfather Abd al-Muttalib. His grandfather died two years later and then he was placed in the care of his uncle Abu Talib. He was not raised by Christians as you assume.

BTW, Muslim people even claim that the prophet Mahommed was raised by Christians for much of his childhood. But I suppose you'll say they don't know what they're talking about.

Professor A. Guilluame, an expert in the studies of the Islamic religion, says the worship of the moon god was rampant in Arabia at the time of Muhammad. According to him, the moon god had several names -- one of which was "Allah."
Do you believe what history records? Or do you believe what people say? From my studies I have not found anything to substantiate their claims.
Let me answer you in different phase of time.
1. Before God manifested himself in the flesh
The Jews were the chosen people of God.
They have the True God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and Godmade covenants to them.
But the Jews worshipfalse gods however not all of them.
The Jews believed that the Messiah will come and that Elijahwill prepare his way (Isa 40:3)
To them a child shall be born, a son shall be given to them,his name shall be called wonderful, counsellor, mighty God, the everlastingFather (Isa 9:6)
This child, shall sit on David’s throne (Isa 9:7)
You see even beforeChrist was born it was prophesied to them that a Son shall be given unto them,The Messiah shall sit on the throne of David.
Do they have the true God then, Yes.
But do they worship the true God?
Some did and some fallsunder idolatry.

Just on the name "Allah", I found this, which I knew but couldn't explain properly. Its worded perfectly for you to see. Its a lot more understandable and applicable if you speak Arabic:

The oldest version of the "OT" called the "J" writings uses YHWH not Elohim or Adonai, the next version uses Elohim , the "E" writings. this was forged in by the Masorites when they added vowel points to the Hebrew alphabet.
Yeremyah 23:26-27, "How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Yes, they are prophets of the deceit of their own minds; Who devise; plan and scheme, to cause My people to forget My Name through their dreams, which they tell every man to his neighbor, just as their fathers have forgotten My Name for Baal; (Lord)."
It is believed by some scholars, and others disagree, that in origins of hebrew yl was used not EL, yl denoted strength and power. yl shaddai, not a name but = strength almighty.
El was the head of the Cannanite pantheon, it only got incorperated when some hebrews worshipped the gods of Cannan.
2 Kings 17:33-34, "They were taught how they might worship Yahweh, but instead they worshiped their own gods according to the customs of the nations from which they had been brought. To this day, they continue to practice their former pagan customs. They do not reverence Yahweh, nor do they follow the statutes, ordinances, Laws, and commandments which Yahweh had commanded the children of Yaaqob, whom He named Isray.

HAHAHAHAHAHA They are NOT muslim prayer beads. They are stress beads. They hold them in their hands and pull the bits up 1 or 2 or 3 at a time, taking their minds off something else. They are NOT only used by the Muslims. My father used them too as a pass time novelty, and he was Christian Lebanese. No actually muslims (possibly not all, i know for sure because i have met muslims that unsuccessfully tried to convert me and i asked them about it, and they spoke arabic they knew what they were talking about ) pray and they have 360 names for their god and the recite each name and them change beads. (this practice was around before islam)
