quickened means to be joined the body by grace grace came trough jesus christ and dont forget truth Joh 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Oh good grief. IT DOES NOT. It means matured. The word was used and around long before Christ was born. Can you imagine the confusion that would have caused if your definition was true? sheesh man.
You take a word from the Bible, that had meaning for ages before it was used in that letter, then impose a definition that you concoct 2K years later, and try to sell that as the original. THAT IS PREPOSTEROUS!

That is the meaning of the word. IT WAS USED SOMETIMES to show the growing into unity with Christ that occurs. But that is a step fo maturity, not an instant boom done event because you said some magic prayer and took a magic bath.

They are a more word for word definition.
If you do the etymological research on the word QUICKENED, and go back to it's roots you'll see it meant different to the King Jim translators than you expressed here too.

The word is NOT ONLY USED IN CHRISTIAN FAITH. That is the point. You take it as if it was used NO WHERE with NO MEANING other than in the Bible. So you corrupt the word and impose your own thoughts into it.

By a gracious act of God, we are quickened together with Christ. To be quickened with Christ is to mean that we are saved. It was a gracious act of God that Christ is the instrument to be saved.

You give a definition of the word, in one sentence of the Bible where it was used.
I gave a definition of the word itself.
Doing it your way, confuses things. Such as the word SANCTIFIED. It's used in different ways in different' places. You can sanctify a goat, or cow, or candle, or minora, but they aren't sanctified as a man is. And for man there are different sanctifications. They are "sanctified" by Christ at atonement, and are Sanctified at Christian maturity. But it's a different sanctification. One is looked upon as set apart by God, the other is made to be different and thus inherently apart from others.
TO BE QUICKENED WITH CHRIST, would be to be quickened, as I defined the word, with Christ. It would look like Eph 4 where it says you are grown in unity and knowledge of Him, until you are as completely Spiritually Mature as HE was. WHICH is something I bet most of you say won't happen on earth. But Paul said it would/could/should.

concrete is quickened when it dries all the way through. The largest dams in America are dozens of years old, and the concrete still quickens in some of them. It gives them some flexibility, bend not break. But they are still being quickened. They haven't got to the finished part yet. They are in a process of quickening.

BTW Plato, was how many hundreds of years before Christ? Alexander the Great's tutor, Aristotle, who taught Gamaliel who taught Peter, was about 400+ years before Christ.

We make a compound where I work, it's like a bubble gum cigar. You cut off a piece, squeeze it, make it hot, and wrap it around a bolt. Leave it for a few hours and it quickens. When it is done quickening it is considered cured. When it is cured it is done "setting", "drying", etc...
The label says quickened on it. It was approved by our lawyers, and the US GOVT.
