God still talks to us each personally today by the Holy Ghost, so that we know to either believe or not, conscious choice. and therefore there will be no excuse for man. No blame can be passed.
We are left with to believe or not. Simple really, but it is a great fight to get there, for flesh in and of itself is very arrogant and plainly desires control, over the freedom of all.

There is no flesh left, if you walkin the Spirit. And what isn't there, can't return.

I don't think that's completely true. Temptation is always there and we can reject the spirit by falling to temptation

Ok, put what you think against ROmans 8:9 and tell me how they fit together?

I'm not picking, just exploring.
[h=3]Romans 8:9[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Yeh, what I said makes sense according to this. I could very well be in the Spirit, and the Spirit of God dwells in me. But if I was to be tempted and decide to fall to that temptation, then I am making a conscious decision as a Christian to come out from the Spirit and enter into filthiness, breaking that bond with the Spirit, causing me then to NOT be of the Spirit. I'm pretty sure this is what we Catholics call mortal sin. The intentional breaking of our bond with the Holy Spirit. "Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His."
You'd have to look up the exact meaning of mortal sin in the Catholic Dictionary though.

hehehe, ok. I can't see it, but it's between you and God.

The flesh is gone. col 2:11. It's not there. It doesn't say you have one on more than the other. It says you are one or the other. You are wet or dry. You can't be dry, and think of being wet and be wet, you have to be wet to be wet. You are either flesh, or Spirit filled.

Gal 5:16 IF you walk by the spirit, YOU WILL NOT GIVE INTO the temptations of the flesh.

It would be a temptation of the flesh to not want to walk by the Spirit. To leave would mean yoU DID give into the temptations. But the verse says you wouldn't.

In context, topic, and language I can't make the argument how you did and make it make sense. BUT I grew up thinking just like you did. :)

Oh yeah, temptation is always there, no doubt. If you walk by the Spirit you won't give into the temptations of the flesh.

If the Spirit is in you, the flesh is not.

The flesh is removed like a circumcision. <<<<<< They don't grow back, trust me.

Can it be said that you are an example of one who walks in the Spirit?

Yeh I know exactly where you're coming from, bro. But there's no guarantee that you won't give into the temptations of the flesh. Maybe you have, and I congratulate you for being so strong. But God gave us free will to make the decision. He never told us that the Spirit will hold us back from falling to temptation. That would mean our free will has been taken away, and if that has been taken away then the glory in fighting temptation is gone. Its not that black n white. I was there. I was SO FILLED with the Holy Spirit and I conquered ALL my weaknesses and laughed temptation in the face. The stronger I was in the Lord, the harder and SMARTER the evil spirits played. My biggest weaknesses were my temper and pride, amongst other things. And they were EXACTLY what I was tempted with. Where does it say that the evil spirit leaves only to come back with seven of his friends? Brother, that is EXACTLY how it happens. If you walk by the Spirit, there is no guarentee that you won't give into the temptations of the flesh. The second you let your guard down, there is the enemy waiting to pounce. And we are human, brother, so every now n then we let our guards down, and being human, we fall. Maybe not all, but we CAN fall.

I will answer you, but first let me know who's God you are referring, do you refer to the god of the muslim meaning are they the same?

I do not know what God they worship, I am not Muslim, nor any denomination. For nowhere in the word is anyone called to be a Denomination, a Catholic, A protestant A___________________________________ you get the drift.
Nowhere in the word is there anywhere we are to be anything other that a Child of the Living God.

There is no flesh left, if you walkin the Spirit. And what isn't there, can't return.

Okay, as long as you do not think of the flesh long enough for it to manifest itself. For even as Paul does not say it arrogantly. Plainly stated.
2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

Flesh is unredeemed and yes considered dead when we are born again in Spirit and we are if we believe willing to be dead to self and God does the operation as he did with Son to us for us, since we believed God.
But all it takes is to get a little proud or boastful in thinking it is you that has attained, for if you are God's here comes the messenger of Satan to buffet me, you, knock me, you down so we can learn it is all God and none of us. Giving God all the credit not anyone else, Churches, Pastors, friends anyone, praying you get this truth, I think you might have.
There are only three things required of us, for we have been shown what is good even before the cross
Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

I don't think that's completely true. Temptation is always there and we can reject the spirit by falling to temptation

The unredeemed flesh is the only way one sins again, so as Paul says in romans 6
[h=3]Romans 6:1-11[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [SUP]2 [/SUP]God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? [SUP]3 [/SUP]Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [SUP]4 [/SUP]Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [SUP]5 [/SUP]For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [SUP]6 [/SUP]knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. [SUP]7 [/SUP]For he that is dead is freed from sin. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: [SUP]9 [/SUP]knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. [SUP]11 [/SUP]Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Peter, Paul, James, John and all those that were born again in the Spirit made mistakes afterwards and yet remained saved by God's Mercy, and all learned from each mistake, growing ing God's type of grace, Mercy, and Love that no flesh can comprehend.
That is why Paul said he put all things done behind him of his flesh and continued to move forward towards the mark of the high calling found in Christ Jesus.
We do want to learn how to trust in God and avoid sin, by continuing in the Spirit 24/7 and all things are possible with God to do this. Yet only one day at a time, by dying to self daily with Christ in the flesh daily, to be alive to God daily
Phil 3 clear on this with Paul.

There are many versions of catholics now, like couples for Christ, singles for Christ, but are they really Christians of the bible?

Ephesians 4:1-6 Major Doctrines - Every believer should be convicted about these, read the passage for yourself, can you come up with them?

I therefore, ma prisoner for the Lord, urge you to nwalk in a manner worthy of othe calling to which you have been called, 2 with allphumility and qgentleness, with rpatience, sbearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in tthe bond of peace.4 There is uone body and vone Spirit—just as you were called to the onewhope that belongs to your call—5 xone Lord, yone faith, zone baptism,6 aone God and Father of all, bwho is over all and through all and in all.

I am in agreement with you, and it takes belief 100% did Christ really take away the sin of the whole world or not?
I know he did in his Father's sight he did. So we can be born again by god a gift to us that believe.
[h=3]Colossians 1:21-23[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]21 [/SUP]And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled [SUP]22 [/SUP]in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: [SUP]23 [/SUP]if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

How do they treat the poor, the sick and the hungry? That’s says more about who they are than what church they go to.
^ Amen, very nicely put ^

Try to see this a seed does not live is dormant until it goes into the ground and dies, then life comes out from it.
This is an example to us, We believe we are God's seed and we shall not have life unless we die to self with Christ, then life is manifested from death
[h=3]Philippians 3:1-11[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

3 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. [SUP]4 [/SUP]Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: [SUP]5 [/SUP]circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; [SUP]6 [/SUP]concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. [SUP]7[/SUP]But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, [SUP]9 [/SUP]and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: [SUP]10 [/SUP]that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [SUP]11 [/SUP]if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

See you have a problem.

You do not know their god.

Are you sure that you are not a child of their god?
Or maybe you are worshipping their god andyou just don't know it.

Or maybe you are just lying that you do not know their god but within yourself you have an idea of what their god is and you just do not want to admit you know their god.

What you called that person and it start with letter L __________.

Anyway, know their god, and when you find that their god is false. Along with them search the true God.

conviction of the truth, because if it's not truth and love - then it's hypocrisy - there are things in scripture that are non-negotiable - mercy as you lovingly show them and model truth: but if someone is believing lies and has no truth in them, how is it merciful to let them fall?
