Denebanger,

You make some interesting observations but there is no Rapture. You won't find the Rapture as an event anywhere in the Bible. But I don't want you to get bogged down on this point right now.

If you don't understand the correct order of events, it will lead you down the wrong path. First, the number of the Beast is 666. 6 is a human number, the day man was created. 666 refers to the 6th Seal, 6th Trumpet and 6th Bowl. All of these events are Satanic/Satan driven. They occur together or sequentially to each other. The Seals, Trumpets and Bowls do not go in the order Seal 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 Trumpet 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, Bowl 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. If you think that you will never understand the correct order of events, see how they are tied to other scripture and certainly never see that the Rapture is an invention of man/Satan and clearly Not the teaching of God.

I know most Christians are so invested emotionally to the Rapture concept that for them to see God's divine plan for the end times would be impossible. I am not trying to offend anyone but that is the situation. If you believe in the Rapture, Revelation will remain a mystery, its that simple. So, the rest of what I am sharing will make no sense to the Pre-Trib believer and they will think I'm crazy and/or evil. But that's okay. I'll share anyway.

The 7th trumpet marks the return of the Lord and the end of the AC's rule. 7-7-7 signifies Completion and Perfection. These events are all divine, God driven. You have noises and thunderings in each of the 7th seal, trumpet and bowl. The thunderings are the voice of God and we see this throughout scripture, especially in the OT. The 7th trumpet is the Last Event of the Tribulation period. It is the Day of the Lord (which lasts 1,000 years). The Lord returns after 6-6-6 at 7-7-7.

The witnesses are on earth in Jerusalem while the Beast is there but the Beast can not harm them until just before Christ returns.

The Woman is Believing Israel. They are given a safe place from the Anti-Christ and the torment he will unleash on the world. The safe place given is in the desert, not in heaven. It is probably Petra in Jordan. The image of the dragon sending out a flood after the woman but the earth swallowing it up, then the dragon waging war on the rest of her offspring is spiritual. It is war of words, war of lies and false teachings of the Beast/AC being the true Messiah, which of course is false. The woman knows this and does not fall for the trick.

The Bride of the Lamb is ALL BELIEVERS that end up in the final new heaven at the end of the millennium. The Millennium and Day of the Lord cover the same time frame. When the Lord returns at the end of the Tribulation, He comes for the Battle of Armageddon, Mat 24:28 and Rev 19 set the time and place perfectly. When the Lord returns, He gathers His Elect, they receive glorified bodies and they remain with Him wherever He goes. God brings the saints in heaven with Him.

If you did not believe in Jesus and were not saved prior to the Lord's return you enter the millennium in your earthly bodies. Many will believe in Jesus once they see Him and everyone will bow down and worship Him. However, not all knees remained bowed. The Lord will separate the Goat Nations from the Sheep Nations. The Sheep Nations are the ones who were kind to Israel and the Goat Nations where unkind to Israel, Mat 25. The Lord will rule all nations with a rod of iron for 1,000 years. Nations that do not worship the Lord receive no rain, Zech 14. At the end of the 1,000 years, Satan is loosed for a short period. Then of course the old heavens and earth pass away and the new Jerusalem is brought down to the new earth for all saved to dwell forever.
Perhaps you need to look at this one more time. Watch this video first then you can read all about it!

When the seal is broken on the scroll that turns the sun black and the moon red as blood...is my belief. :) When that happens, bam! the church is raptured. As for the date and time, no one knows that, so if anyone tells you a date, it's not then. :)
Have you ever thought of this metaphor or perhaps parable? "When the sun darkens and the moon does not give her light" phrase? Think of this. Could it not be a parable? What is a parable? It simply is a worldly event or something of the world people understand that is used to describe a heavenly thing. In this case, the sun (Son) and the moon (church). The sun is referring to Jesus and the moon, showing the reflection of the sun (or Jesus) gets a little darker . John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]The same was in the beginning with God.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The only thing that can be known about the timing of the rapture is that it takes place before the Time of Jacob's trouble. Other than that, we are not going to know the exact day and hour of it. But again, we can know for sure that it will take place before the time of Jacob's trouble begins.

If you would like to read more about this important Biblical doctrine, then you can click on the link given Below:

This is NOT Biblical. I promise you this will not happen. You are free to believe in that lie and say the holy spirit told you. Won't make it happen though! What will you say when you finally realize that you are wrong? Just wonderin'

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Defiantly not at the 2nd advent but sometime before. The saints will becoming back with Christ to fight against the armies surrounding Israel.

Zechariah 14:1-5 KJV

Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

A parable is a fictional story used to teach a lesson with regard to a real-world truth.

The following verses are not metaphoric, nor are they parables. They are talking about actual, real, physical, natural occurrences.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: ~ Matthew 24:29

But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. ~ Mark 13:24-25

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. ~ Luke 21:25-26

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. ~ Revelation 6:12-13

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: ~ Acts 2:20

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. ~ Revelation 8:10-11

And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. ~ Revelation 8:12

And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. ~ Revelation 9:1-3

Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. * For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. ~ Isaiah 13:7-8,10

I was told my great-grandmother expected the Rapture during her life time. She died at age 102 in 1966. Don't hold your breath. :)

Jesus himself said:

"However, no one knows the day or the hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows. (NLT, Matthew 24:36)"

Question we do not need to ask and certainly cannot determine, predict or profess to an answer.

Jesus also said we should not believe anyone who claims to be the Messiah or anyone who claims to know when He is coming again. The second coming of Jesus will be sudden, unexpected and unmistakable, like lightning flashing across the sky (Matthew 24:23-51,Mark 13:21-23, 13:32-37 Luke 17:20-37). The important thing is not to know when or how the end will come, but to be spiritually prepared when it does (Matthew 25:1-13 Matthew 24:42-44, Luke 21:34-36, 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3).

That said, the question should be ceased to be asked and we should all concentrate on walking with Jesus, enabled, strengthened and empowered by the Holy Spirit to develop our closeness with God.

Just curious because but why do so many have a problem of the concept of a rapture?

My only problem is this idea of a secret rapture where he takes some now and others later. But from the the way I understand it is just a latin word from the greek equivalent found in the Latin Vulgate version. But some seem seriously offended by the very mention of the word alone.

He won't be saying anything (at least not on earth) because he will be dead, killed along with the other 1/3 of the world that fell for this lie.

God doesn't like people tampering with His Word. God has promised those who add to HIS book will share in the plagues of His book (Rev 22:18). He even says how he will do it, by using Satan's demonic forces to round up and kill those who would "Go out looking for the false Christ." 200 million demons will be sent out to "test" those on earth. Rev 3:10. Those that fail that test will be killed Rev 9:18.

God tells how He will kill those who fail the test, fail to keep His Word, fail to be faithful to His Word and fail to know the Real Christ and go out to meet the false Christ - they are killed by Fire and Brimstone, the same way Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed - Divine Wrath!!!

This is no joke. It isn't a small matter what you believe about how we get to the Kingdom. There aren't different paths one can take like a make-believe Rapture. Jesus tells us clearly in Mat 16 how we get to the Kingdom of heaven and made clear there is no free pass - No Santa Claus Sleigh Ride.

22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, "Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!"

23 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men."

24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

When you say natural occurrences, are you saying you believe literal stars are going to fall to the earth or do you see this as I do, these stars represent demons? The use of the phrase, "Powers of the heavens shall be shaken" certainly implies BIG DRAMA in heaven. I see this event as tied to Rev 12:

4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born.
7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,

8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.

9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

We then see these 1/3 of the Angels or Stars as the 200 million demonic army of the 6th Trumpet. 6th Seal, 6th Trumpet then later 6th Bowl. 6-6-6.

Its just not in the scriptures. No one can even show scripture that says we are going up to heaven at the 1Cor.15 event. The rapturist must believe there are more than 2 GENERAL resurrections. The bible says otherwise. Theres just so many ways to prove there is no rapture just believing whats written in the scriptures. They have to do a song and dance around the scriptures such as claiming the last trumpet of 1Cor.15 isn't really the last trumpet as that scripture states. I could go on and on but I wont. My finger is getting tired.

It is not the word, it is the idea that is conveyed by that word. The 'rapture' has the connotation of Christ making a "near miss" and taking the saints to heaven, and then returning again. Doesn't happen that way.

There are several reasons for this:

1. Pride in their intellect
2. Belief that the church replaced the nation of Israel, concerning future prophecies
3. The Bible they read from
4. Listening to false teachers
5. The people aren't really saved, but just playing religion, and the devil wants them to think
they still saved, after the rapture, so they don't repent and get saved.
6. Believe it already happened

The problem that so many have with the concept of a rapture is -- allowing themselves to be in agreement with the fact that the definition of the word 'rapture' should be the "minimal" definition of the word. If they cannot "custom design" their own definition to include every little detail they believe is associated with the rapture - "they just will not have it"...

Please see this post / thread.
