Since 1881, the time when Westcott and Hort composed their own Greek New Testament, there has been over 250+ English bible versions produced.

1) Has the English Language really changed this much?

2) Do all of these modern conflicting translations promote unity or do they promote and cause division in the Body of Christ?

Hi brother. Thanks for this list. The Jesuit counter Reformation is in full swing and they have been largely successful. The don't care one bit about "the true readings" of the Bible. What they want to do is to destroy faith in the Bible as the infallible words of God. They refer to the Bible as "the Paper Pope of Protestantism" and want to cause doubt and disbelief in the written words of God so that people will look elsewhere for their Final Authority - i.e. the Pope.

Most of the new versions that have come down the pike are the new Vatican Versions like the ESV, NIV, NASB, Holman etc. Anything based on the ever changing UBS (United Bible Society) Nestle-Aland critical Greek text. The Vatican has made a formal agreement with the UBS and Nestle-Aland to create an "interconfessional" text for "the separated brethren" = the Evangelicals and Protestants. Do you think this is an outrageous claim of some kind of Conspiracy?

See the documented PROOF of all this in 'Undeniable Proof the ESV, NIV, NASB, Holman Standard, NET etc. are the new "Vatican Versions"

Real Catholic bibles - Another King James Bible Believer

"He that hath ears to hear, let him hear." Luke 8:8

"But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant." 1 Cor. 14:38

God bless.

Hello there Brandplucked,

Absolutely brother. You are welcome sir. And yes there is a satanic agenda by the Vatican and Papacy to destroy the faith of as many Christians as they can. The Papacy wants to destroy the Christian's faith in the Holy Bible. The modern versions are a part of the Emergent church and Ecumenical movement that seeks to bring all faiths together at the expense of the truth. This video here shows that this is the case:

And yes; just as you stated brother, the Jesuit counter reformation has indeed been successful. More and more Christians no longer believe in the inerrancy and infallibility of the Holy Scriptures. And because of that; many Christians are now vulnerable more than ever to the mass deception that is taking place in these last days with the great apostasy and the falling away.

This video segment from The Real Bible Version Issue Exposed shows how successful the Vatican has been with their Jesuit counter reformation:

Good evening brothers. What you are saying is very true and very disturbing but it is also part of Biblical prophesy. The Word say that before the anti christ can be revealed there must and will be a "grate falling away". We are now living in those days of apostacy and falling away. We must hold fast to The Truth as The Holy Spirit reveals in His Wisdom,. God bless brothers. He always keep a remnant for Himself .

Amen brother. Indeed, the falling away and apostasy taking place now is a fulfillment of Bible Prophecy. And there is a famine in the land of hearing the words of the LORD (Amos 8:11).

YES! OF course it has. Even the difference between American English, British English and Australian English is miles apart and very much different.

2) Do all of these modern conflicting translations promote unity or do they promote and cause division in the Body of Christ?

There are no Conflicting translations. There maybe subtle differences and use of difference words, but then thats not a problem , that is why its called a translation. do you say , rubbish, trash or garbage?

3) And also, Do all of these modern, contradicting English bible versions help to build belief and faith in the Holy Bible as the inerrant and infallible word of God? Or do they cause doubt and unbelief in the inerrancy of the Holy Bible?
Only your cult sees it this way. All other humans who have not been brainwashed understand there has never been, nor will be a perfect inerrant and infallible version of the Bible, as long as the message remains the same, which it does for all versions. If you think a person is going to end up running away from the Bible because they read a verse where a capital letter has not been used in the correct way, then you are very much mistaken.

Problem is you and your cult think changing face ring to nose ring, for example, is proof of the corruption, I have shown you countless times the errors of your cult and your thinking, but like a good cult member you continue to spread your posion and claim it as truth, adding the final proof you are a cult by claiming that God is 100% on your side and threatening people that they will have to answer to Christ and exaplin to Christ why they did not stick with just the King James.

Your cult is evil and should be banned.

Hlo lord agricola. While reading The 1933 translation of the afrikaans Bible I noticed that certain pharisees and scibes and some elders of the jews called our Lord Jesus a cultist to aswell as His disciples at a later stage aswell. It seems to me sir , that history is repeating itself right here. Maybe you should make a study of some of these "new translations" and compare it to the older ones. You're statement that there has never been nor ever will be an "inerrant or infalleble " translation of Gods Word only shows you're ignorance of The Holy Spirit's capabilities. Gods Word is infalleble sir , wether you realise it or not. May God open you're eyes to The Truth .

I already have, I have found nothing to prove there is anything "Satanic" or wrong with versions after the King James of 1611. There is no such thing as a perfect Bible. The King James Only Cult is a cult, for reasons I have pointed out, it looks like a cult, smells like a cult acts like a cult, brainwashed memebers who act like they are in a cult, in short it is a cult.

Your post also demonstrates how you claim Christ and Holy SPirit for you your own by making sick and evil claims that if I need God to open my eyes to the truth, utterly evil and wicked thing to say.

Your are obviously a cult member as well. trying to scare people into joining your cult and claiming credibility by making out God is on your side and is an aproving member of the King James Only Cult.

If you opened your eyes you would see how stupid this claim is. Lots of number juggling to make the psalm verse about refinment work, failing to see how stupid it is that God allows 1600 years of an imperfect version of his word, I am living in the 21st Century, not the 17th.

Look at multiple English translations. Look at French, Spanish or Latin translations if you know some of those languages. Use an interlinear Bible, dig into the Hebrew and Greek roots, and make your own translation of verses as you need them.

YES! OF course it has. Even the difference between American English, British English and Australian English is miles apart and very much different.
Give some examples.

The issue is not whether or not English has changed. Because obviously it has gone through several changes. The issue here is has English changed so much that it would warrant a necessity for all the 250+ modern versions that have been produced since 1881? That is the issue here.

There are no Conflicting translations.

Agricola, have you lost your mind? No conflicting translations???

Let's see if that is the case here:

Let's take Revelation 13:1 first.

Revelation 13:1

New International Version
The dragon stood on the shore of the sea. And I saw a beast coming out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads, with ten crowns on its horns, and on each head a blasphemous name.

New Living Translation
Then I saw a beast rising up out of the sea. It had seven heads and ten horns, with ten crowns on its horns. And written on each head were names that blasphemed God.

English Standard Version
And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads.

New American Standard Bible
And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names.

King James Bible
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Let's look at Matthew 6:33 and see how the modern versions cut the Lord's prayer short.

Matthew 6:33

New International Version
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'

New Living Translation
And don't let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.

English Standard Version
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

New American Standard Bible
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.'

King James Bible
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

International Standard Version
And never bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'

As you can see, a lot of the modern Vatican versions remove the last part of the Lord's prayer from Matthew 6:13.

And there are some though that do keep the last part in.

Now how about the Lord's prayer in Luke 11:2-4.

Luke 11:2-4

New International Version

2He said to them, “When you pray, say:“ ‘Father,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.
3Give us each day our daily bread.
4Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation. ’ ”

New Living Translation

2Jesus said, “This is how you should pray:
“Father, may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon.
3Give us each day the food we need,
4and forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.

And don’t let us yield to temptation.”

Holman Christian Standard Bible

2He said to them, “Whenever you pray, say: Father
Your name be honored as holy.
Your kingdom come.
3Give us each day our daily bread.
4And forgive us our sins,
for we ourselves also forgive everyone
in debt to us.
And do not bring us into temptation.”

King James Bible
2And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
3Give us day by day our daily bread.
4And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

The words that are highlighted blue in the passage of Luke 11:2-4 in the King James Bible, those same words are removed from the modern versions.

Let's look at some other changes:

Luke 4:8

New International Version
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.'"

New Living Translation
Jesus replied, "The Scriptures say, 'You must worship the LORD your God and serve only him.'"

English Standard Version
And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

New American Standard Bible
Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE HIM ONLY.'"

King James Bible
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
And Jesus answered him, "It is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only."

International Standard Version
But Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.'"

I
n Luke 4:8, the modern versions omit the phrase: "Get thee behind me, Satan."

How about Luke 4:4:

New International Version
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone.'"

New Living Translation
But Jesus told him, "No! The Scriptures say, 'People do not live by bread alone.'"

English Standard Version
And Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’”

New American Standard Bible
And Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE.'"

King James Bible
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
But Jesus answered him, "It is written: Man must not live on bread alone."

The phrase: "but by every word of God" is taken out of a lot of the modern Vatican versions.

How about Psalm 10:4-5?

New International Version
In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God. His ways are always prosperous; your laws are rejected by him; he sneers at all his enemies.

New Living Translation
The wicked are too proud to seek God. They seem to think that God is dead. Yet they succeed in everything they do. They do not see your punishment awaiting them. They sneer at all their enemies.

English Standard Version
In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.” His ways prosper at all times; your judgments are on high, out of his sight; as for all his foes, he puffs at them.

New American Standard Bible
The wicked, in the haughtiness of his countenance, does not seek Him. All his thoughts are, "There is no God." Hisways prosper at all times; Your judgments are on high, out of his sight; As for all his adversaries, he snorts at them.

King James Bible
The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
In all his scheming, the wicked arrogantly thinks:" There is no accountability, since God does not exist." His ways are always secure; Your lofty judgments are beyond his sight; he scoffs at all his adversaries.

The King James Bible says that the ways of the wicked are always grievous, while the others say they are prosperous. So which one is correct Agricola? They all can't be right.

Ecclesiastes 8:10

New International Version
Then too, I saw the wicked buried--those who used to come and go from the holy place and receive praise in the city where they did this. This too is meaningless.

New Living Translation
I have seen wicked people buried with honor. Yet they were the very ones who frequented the Temple and are now praised in the same city where they committed their crimes! This, too, is meaningless.

English Standard Version
Then I saw the wicked buried. They used to go in and out of the holy place and were praised in the city where they had done such things. This also is vanity.

New American Standard Bible
So then, I have seen the wicked buried, those who used to go in and out from the holy place, and they are soon forgotten in the city where they did thus. This too is futility.

King James Bible
And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
In such circumstances, I saw the wicked buried. They came and went from the holy place, and they were praised in the city where they did so. This too is futile.

International Standard Version

So I watched the wicked being entombed. They used to come in and out of the Holy Place, but now they are forgotten in the city, where they used to work. This, too, is pointless.

Some say the wicked were forgotten in the city, while other translations say they were and are praised in the city. So Agricola; again, which reading is the correct one??

Colossians 2:18

New International Version
Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind.

New Living Translation
Don't let anyone condemn you by insisting on pious self-denial or the worship of angels, saying they have had visions about these things. Their sinful minds have made them proud,

English Standard Version
Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind,

New American Standard Bible
Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind,

King James Bible
Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

Holman Christian Standard Bible
Let no one disqualify you, insisting on ascetic practices and the worship of angels, claiming access to a visionary realm and inflated without cause by his unspiritual mind.

Which reading is the right one Agricola?

Hosea 10:1

New International Version
Israel was a spreading vine; he brought forth fruit for himself. As his fruit increased, he built more altars; as his land prospered, he adorned his sacred stones.

New Living Translation
How prosperous Israel is--a luxuriant vine loaded with fruit. But the richer the people get, the more pagan altars they build. The more bountiful their harvests, the more beautiful their sacred pillars.

English Standard Version
Israel is a luxuriant vine that yields its fruit. The more his fruit increased, the more altars he built; as his country improved, he improved his pillars.

New American Standard Bible
Israel is a luxuriant vine; He produces fruit for himself. The more his fruit, The more altars he made; The richer his land, The better he made the sacred pillars.

King James Bible
Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
Israel is a lush vine; it yields fruit for itself. The more his fruit increased, the more he increased the altars. The better his land produced, the better they made the sacred pillars.

Hosea 11:12

New International Version
Ephraim has surrounded me with lies, Israel with deceit. And Judah is unruly against God, even against the faithful Holy One.

New Living Translation
Israel surrounds me with lies and deceit, but Judah still obeys God and is faithful to the Holy One.

English Standard Version
Ephraim has surrounded me with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit, but Judah still walks with Godand is faithful to the Holy One.

New American Standard Bible
Ephraim surrounds Me with lies And the house of Israel with deceit; Judah is also unruly against God, Even against the Holy One who is faithful.

King James Bible
Ephraim compasseth me about with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit: but Judah yet ruleth with God, and is faithful with the saints.

Holman Christian Standard Bible
Ephraim surrounds me with lies, the house of Israel, with deceit. Judah still wanders with God and is faithful to the holy ones.

Isaiah 9:1

New International Version

Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan--

New Living Translation

Nevertheless, that time of darkness and despair will not go on forever. The land of Zebulun and Naphtali will be humbled, but there will be a time in the future when Galilee of the Gentiles, which lies along the road that runs between the Jordan and the sea, will be filled with glory.

English Standard Version

But there will be no gloom for her who was in anguish. In the former time he brought into contempt the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the latter time he has made glorious the way of the sea, the land beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations.

New American Standard Bible

But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish; in earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He shall make it glorious, by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.

King James Bible

Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.

Isaiah 9:3

New International Version

You have enlarged the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder.

New Living Translation

You will enlarge the nation of Israel, and its people will rejoice. They will rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest and like warriors dividing the plunder.

English Standard Version

You have multiplied the nation; you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest, as they are glad when they divide the spoil.

New American Standard Bible

You shall multiply the nation, You shall increase their gladness; They will be glad in Your presence As with the gladness of harvest, As men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

King James Bible

Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.

Holman Christian Standard Bible

You have enlarged the nation and increased its joy. The people have rejoiced before You as they rejoice at harvest time and as they rejoice when dividing spoils.

International Standard Version

You have increased the nation; you have increased its joy; they rejoice in your presence as they rejoice at the harvest, as they are glad when they're dividing the spoils of war.

GOD'S WORD® Translation
Wicked people, all the nations who forget God, will return to the grave.

Jubilee Bible 2000

The wicked shall be put into Sheol, all the Gentiles that forget God.

Why is it that the modern versions are refusing to translate the Hebrew word Sheol? It is interesting how they will always translate Shamayim (Hebrew word for Heaven) and also ouranos (Greek word for Heaven) but they will refuse to translate Sheol or Hades in many places. If the modern versions were going to be consistent, then they would also refuse to translate both Shemayim and Ouranos as well. But of course, they won't do that because they just want to destroy vital Biblical Doctrines.

1 Kings 5:11

New International Version
and Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand cors of wheat as food for his household, in addition to twenty thousand baths of pressed olive oil. Solomon continued to do this for Hiram year after year.

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Holman Christian Standard Bible
and every high-minded thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive to obey Christ.

Here, the Holman Christian Standard bible agrees with the NIV, and ESV rendering of "we demolish arguments" but it places it at the end of verse 4 rather than at the beginning of verse 5.

Of course, the correct rendering is Casting down imaginations, just as the King James Bible has it rendered.

Many of the Modern versions remove the last part of 1 John 5:13.

Revelation 8:13

Hebrews 9:10

King James Bible
Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

English Standard Version
but deal only with food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation.

New American Standard Bible
since they relate only to food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until a time of reformation.

New International Version
They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings--external regulations applying until the time of the new order.

New Order?? Kind of like the new world order? Of course the NIV would be one of main modern perversions to help bring in the new world order.

1 Kings 20:38

So the prophet departed and waited for the king by the way, disguising himself with a bandage over his eyes.

New American Standard Bible
So the prophet departed and waited for the king by the way, and disguised himself with a bandage over his eyes.

The prophet wrapped his face in a cloth so no one could tell who he was. Then he went and waited by the road for the king.

1 Samuel 13:1

New International Version
Saul was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned over Israel forty- two years.

New Living Translation
Saul was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned for forty-two years.

English Standard Version
Saul was… years old when he began to reign, and he reigned… and two years over Israel.

New American Standard Bible
Saul was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty two years over Israel.

King James Bible
Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel,

So how long did Saul reign Agricola? Did he reign for 2 years? Or did he reign for 42 years? I thought you said that there were "no Conflicting translations." Well then which one is it?? Which is the correct reading? They both cannot be right.

Proverbs 18:24

New International Version
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

A man with many friends may be harmed, but there is a friend who stays closer than a brother.

Job 16:20

New International Version
My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God;

Proverbs 22:20

New International Version
Have I not written thirty sayings for you, sayings of counsel and knowledge,

New Living Translation
I have written thirty sayings for you, filled with advice and knowledge.

English Standard Version
Have I not written for you thirty sayings of counsel and knowledge,

New American Standard Bible
Have I not written to you excellent things Of counsels and knowledge,

King James Bible
Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge,

There maybe subtle differences and use of difference words, but then thats not a problem , that is why its called a translation. do you say , rubbish, trash or garbage?

Of course there are subtle differences; since Satan is very subtil. But there are also major differences as well.

And yes it is a problem. It is a serious problem when wicked men who claim to be scholars are changing God's words. And if you don't see it as a problem, well then you need to grow some back bone and reexamine your heart. And repent.

Now those examples I just showed you are only a fraction of the many others. So your statement of there being "no conflicting translations" is utter nonsense. It is a lie. You clearly do not know what you are talking about. And I suggest sir that you pray about about this issue and seek the LORD.

You need to study this issue more diligently Agricola.

Only your cult sees it this way. All other humans who have not been brainwashed understand there has never been, nor will be a perfect inerrant and infallible version of the Bible, as long as the message remains the same, which it does for all versions.

Wrong.

There are thousands upon thousands of King James Bible believers all around the world who believe and know that the Holy Bible is the perfect, inerrant and infallible word of God. And they know that that Bible is the Authorized King James Bible.

Well Agricola; at the Judgment Seat of Christ, you will give account to God for your Christian service to Him after you got saved.

I also will have to give account to the Lord for my Christian service after the time I got saved. Every Christian will. That's what the Bible teaches.

And yes you will have to give an account for how you regarded the words of God. You have been shown the truth regarding the Bible Version Issue. You will be held accountable for the truth which you have been shown. We all will.

Since 1881, the time when Westcott and Hort composed their own Greek New Testament, there has been over 250+ English bible versions produced.

Directly below is a list of nearly all of them
. And as your reading through this list, just ask yourself three basic questions:

1) Has the English Language really changed this much?

2) Do all of these modern conflicting translations promote unity or do they promote and cause division in the Body of Christ?

3) And also, Do all of these modern, contradicting English bible versions help to build belief and faith in the Holy Bible as the inerrant and infallible word of God? Or do they cause doubt and unbelief in the inerrancy of the Holy Bible?

Despite the threats made by Chosenbyhim, along with his mega cut and paste jobs, I can not see any contradictions between bible versions. All I see is the process of translation and more simpler way of speaking.

Do any of these examples which CHosenbyhim pasted have any effect on people accepting Jesus as thier saviour?

NO they do not.

This is perfect example how cults act, they nit pick at any insignificant mound and turn it into a mountain, then proclaim that it is evidence that Satan is at work with other translations.

I am amazed this cult and their followers have been allowed to continue in their spread of heresy and evil lies.

This is the kind of evil hateful talk I refer to, these words by chosenbyhim are disgusting and filth. It is putrid stench and makes me want to vomit. THis kind of talk is nothing more than a scare tactic designed to bring fear into the weak and vunerable and force them to join thier cult.

I am amazed this is being allowed to continue as it breaks the forum rules.
