People may think Catholics agree with Christians in many things. But when Exodus 20:23 and 34:14 shows up, all Catholics fall down. Because it reveals something Catholics don't want to grasp: that Mary was just a human being. Yes, she was virgin and lived in holiness before God as a virtuous woman. God chose her as the mother of the Christ and definitely she worshiped the Lord with her life. But she made mistakes. She failed sometimes in understanding her adoptive son. If the Mary of the Bible were here in this generation, she would have destroyed all her statues in pieces because she wouldn't allowed any worship to herself. The same goes for the apostle Paul. He's seen nowadays as a God, as if He hadn't committed any mistake at all because He's an idol that many people worship. And that's sad because Paul spent His whole life exalting Christ at all times.

Catholics are not true believers. They can be generous, understanding and nice people, but faith in Jesus Christ means obeying ALL THE PRECEPTS OF GOD and not just one part, and that also includes stopping idolatry. The wide path is full of nice and cool people, there are many of them walking there. Catholics wanting to walk in the narrow door with Christ must be willing to leave EVERYTHING behind and to obey Christ even if that means rejection.

When the Holy Spirit comes to our heart, we will see Mary as she really was: a obedient and bold woman who dared to obey God despite the adversities. A woman willing to raise the Son of God with no hesitation. A woman who humbly accepted her mission.

We as Christians love people, no matter their religion, but we can't justify and accept a doctrine that teaches me that Mary is my intercessor when Jesus Himself declared He is our advocate and intercessor to the Father. I'm sorry, but we must understand Christianity is not inclusive but exclusive: many people are called, because God loves the world so much, but few are chosen. This means not many people will accept the demands of Jesus. This means not many people will take their crosses to follow Him.

1) how does the Exodus vss matter? Are we to read your mind?
2) I didn't realize Mary was mentioned in Exodus.
3) I don't recognize your flag some countries have a much more Charismatic Catholic Church, I tend to think they are a little whack.
4) You can't speak to their Belief, to try is anti Biblical, and pompous.
5) The BIBLE gives you NUMEROUS places where it says to pray for one another. I'm glad you are here to fix it's screw ups.
6) If you contradict the Bible, could that mean, this "holy spirit" you claim is leading you is a fake?

Salvation is not the MOST important thing Jesus came to do???????????????????
That's a fact.

That's a biblical fact??????????????????????

yes.

that view is very selfish and in fact might endanger your very soul! If you'll pardon the pinch of melodrama.

God made man with a life to live. The changes he makes in your life, are much more important than the salvation part. They are more urgent, they are NOW and without them you miss out on the salvation.

He's not your 911 call. He's MUCH MORE than that. It's offensive to me to see the rest of the reasons He came just ignored.

As I'm Catholics I can say that Catholics are Christians. We don't have to ask if a particular subgroup of Christian is really Christian: this not the matter. The basis is if you, as a Christian, are really following Him. In every subgroups of Christians, Catholic, Baptists, Protestants there are good and bad Christians. For example I'm a Catholic yes but I don't keep silence if I see that there is something against Christ's law in my Church. If I need to criticize I do because what is important here is not the group you joined but the Gospel you need to follow if you want to be saved.
That's my opinion

Even those changes are to lead into salvation. Everything about Jesus spells salvation.

I cannot personally think of one thing which He did/does which does not point to the purpose of Him having came: A reunion with God.

May I add only this: He's not ONLY your 911 call....

And yes. You are right: no one in this website is here to read my mind.
Mary is not mentioned in Exodus. You're right about that too.

No, it leads to love, and personal growth. The life you are given on earth is for you to live. It's the only life like it you'll ever have. The next life is just that, a next life. THIS LIFE on earth, He's become the vine, you the branch, and you get to carry his fruit, and help those who will reject GOD feel HIS love. At least the plan is along those lines. The Church today spends it's time dehumanizing people, not providing for them. But that's another story.

You don't have to die to get CHRIST'S benefit. You receive it right here on earth right now, and it's real and it's life changing, and it's not some silly wink wink nudge nudge change, it's a real life changing event.
HE CAME to change the world, not rush everyone to heaven.

ONLY viewing the heaven part, is turning your back on the part you were saved to handle on earth.

Well, knowing you are from Venezuela may I say welcome?

And the Catholic Church there, is quite different from the rest of the world. I'm not going to try to defend the Catholic Church you see. I've seen too much bad things, to give it a fair chance.

So, your post I understand better now.

now befor all you protestants start saying how sick this song is ( its actualy about the beatles paul macartneys mum (mary),
which i think is quite fitting for this thread.

Sounds like you choose the verses about "Love" and "Charity" over Righteousness and Holiness?

Jesus stated Luke 13 v 3 & 5 " Except you REPENT, you shall ALL likewise perish". Soooo, you can be the most charitable person this world has ever seen....however...If you never repented, nor obeyed the rest of the true and only gospel; then a person dies lost.

Jesus also stated this: "He that beleiveth on me, AS THE SCRIPTURE HATH SAID, out of his belly shall flow rivers of of living waters" ...John 7 v 38.

A Beleiver must truly believe every word he spoke, or every word recorded by his apostles...A to Z Amen

The Catholic Church at the Council of Trent said all protestants are not Christians. Only Catholics could be Christian.

So I am biting what is the most important, in why Christ came to earth in the flesh through the Virgin Mary?

Thanks, and we have
2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
2 Corinthians 5:19 to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation

I knew there was Scripture to back up my claim :) :p

hmmmm i wonder which forum you got that off, but how could that be so, since alot of protestants say, cathloics are not christian, hmmmm i bet i know the answer to this, lets see,,, both protestant and catholic are not christian,,,, its only none denominational christians who are christian, would that be right ?

so that would mean that baptists who are also a branch of christianity are not christian too, hmmm im begining to wonder how many people are left,, i have just taken out hundreds of millions because of a few bad dotrines by some, (is this right or wrong of me to do that...

so to the question, what is the answer here,, to the people who claim that catholics and protestants are not christian,

do we tell all the people not to go to there catholic church and or there protestant church do we tell bapists not to go to church either, because baptists are part of the great protestant reformation too,

so whats the best plan of action here,,, i know become a none denom ,, and then no one can argu with you,
and then we can stick our fingers in a pie an say oh what a good boy am i...

you see how sad all this is..

do we all start going to none denominatinal churches where they make there own set of rules,,

hmmmm i wonder which forum you got that off,
Not off of a forum. Just read the council of trent.

but how could that be so, since alot of protestants say, cathloics are not christian,
Catholicism isn't Christian.

hmmmm i bet i know the answer to this, lets see,,, both protestant and catholic are not christian,,,,
Many Protestants aren't Christian.

its only none denominational christians who are christian, would that be right ?
Nope, Christianity isn't first and foremost about denominations. If Catholicism taught the Gospel, then I could embrace it as a fellow, but it doesn't teach the Gospel so I can't. same with Muslims. If Muslims taught the Gospel, I could embrace them, but they don't.

so that would mean that baptists who are also a branch of christianity are not christian too,
Many baptists aren't. There are a lot of people who show up to church because that's what mama and daddy did.

hmmm im begining to wonder how many people are left,, i have just taken out hundreds of millions because of a few bad dotrines by some, (is this right or wrong of me to do that...
If they don't preach the Gospel, and certainly don't believe it, then what are they?

so to the question, what is the answer here,, to the people who claim that catholics and protestants are not christian,

do we tell all the people not to go to there catholic church and or there protestant church do we tell bapists not to go to church either, because baptists are part of the great protestant reformation too,
The Protestant Reformation is generally speaking a good thing as it concerns doctrine, but it was not without it's own faults. I would tell a person to leave a house of idolatry, and scripture emplores this as well.

so whats the best plan of action here,,, i know become a none denom ,, and then no one can argu with you,
and then we can stick our fingers in a pie an say oh what a good boy am i...
Nondenominational churches typically are worse about following the passions of the world, but there are many good ones too.

you see how sad all this is..
I think preaching false gospels is sad business.

do we all start going to none denominatinal churches where they make there own set of rules,,

No, just a church that preaches the Gospel and has sound doctrine, and a heart for the Lord.

can you tell what churches they are please,
You find out which ones they are, as you encounter them. There are denominations in the USa that do not preach the Gospel, but occaisonally one of their churches that is not like the denomination does. The UMC can be an example of this.
