People may think Catholics agree with Christians in many things. But when Exodus 20:23 and 34:14 shows up, all Catholics fall down. Because it reveals something Catholics don't want to grasp: that Mary was just a human being. Yes, she was virgin and lived in holiness before God as a virtuous woman. God chose her as the mother of the Christ and definitely she worshiped the Lord with her life. But she made mistakes. She failed sometimes in understanding her adoptive son. If the Mary of the Bible were here in this generation, she would have destroyed all her statues in pieces because she wouldn't allowed any worship to herself. The same goes for the apostle Paul. He's seen nowadays as a God, as if He hadn't committed any mistake at all because He's an idol that many people worship. And that's sad because Paul spent His whole life exalting Christ at all times.
Catholics are not true believers. They can be generous, understanding and nice people, but faith in Jesus Christ means obeying ALL THE PRECEPTS OF GOD and not just one part, and that also includes stopping idolatry. The wide path is full of nice and cool people, there are many of them walking there. Catholics wanting to walk in the narrow door with Christ must be willing to leave EVERYTHING behind and to obey Christ even if that means rejection.
When the Holy Spirit comes to our heart, we will see Mary as she really was: a obedient and bold woman who dared to obey God despite the adversities. A woman willing to raise the Son of God with no hesitation. A woman who humbly accepted her mission.
We as Christians love people, no matter their religion, but we can't justify and accept a doctrine that teaches me that Mary is my intercessor when Jesus Himself declared He is our advocate and intercessor to the Father. I'm sorry, but we must understand Christianity is not inclusive but exclusive: many people are called, because God loves the world so much, but few are chosen. This means not many people will accept the demands of Jesus. This means not many people will take their crosses to follow Him.
1) how does the Exodus vss matter? Are we to read your mind?
2) I didn't realize Mary was mentioned in Exodus.
3) I don't recognize your flag some countries have a much more Charismatic Catholic Church, I tend to think they are a little whack.
4) You can't speak to their Belief, to try is anti Biblical, and pompous.
5) The BIBLE gives you NUMEROUS places where it says to pray for one another. I'm glad you are here to fix it's screw ups.
6) If you contradict the Bible, could that mean, this "holy spirit" you claim is leading you is a fake?
