Silly me, I was under the impression you wanted to discuss ways / methods by which we can counter
christian apathy.
So I listed one politician who, from personal experience with, I believed would be an example of elected official that reflected christian values.
Your response was more along the lines of ~Well, there are no trustworthy politicians anyway - so why bother?~
See, the problem still exists,
apathetic christians.
So, with any problem you:
#1-identify the problem
#2-come up with
solutions to the problem
#3-act on those
solutions
So zone, bikers - even those from diverse belief systems can
UNIFY together to accomplish a beneficial goal. Not all biker ministries minister to the same contingent. Every biker ministry has a specifc ~target~ group that they attempt to reach for the Lord. But when a need is detected, we
UNIFY together to address that need and meet it.
A secular example of this is the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Ride For Kids. I list this as it is a national event easily researched online that for the past 30 years has
collected tens of millions of dollars for fighting this affliction.
Another secular example would be biker toy runs. Google this and see what the results are!
(I did it for you, since it seems
NO ONE follows up with links I post or information I cite. It displays
5,940,000 results!)
The outcome of these runs are children who would NOT be getting any thing for Christmas at least receiving something.
I have seen full grown men (bikers) at one of these events where the recipients (the kids) were present, break down in tears.
A christian illustration of this would be the Wheels of Grace
UNITY Ride who's sole purpose was to bring together christian bikers from across the nation in a one day celebration of Jesus Christ.
So, zone, if you want to discuss
solutions to eliminating
christian apathy I'm your guy!

However, if you wish to only disparage bikers or any possible solutions (or me - as a few have already done [not saying you]) then this thread merely becomes the same as practically every other one I've seen on this site:
A He said / They said back and forth with no resolutions to anything, just continued
disharmony. Which does nothing to build up or edify the believers in Christ and definately does nothing to combat
christian apathy.
