@Shouryu and Cat- I think just about everybody is out of my league. However, we should all be aware that perception isn't reality.

@MissCris- I'm excited about the deer returning to your yard.

@Ugly- Drucilla is the once girlfriend of Spike. They are both vampires from the amazing TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I must have slept weird because my right shoulder is VERY angry right now.

I hate it when I try to help people make informed decisions and views of certain things, and end up sounding like a person who thinks they're a genius and sounds like a jerk.

I know I know a lot of things...but I don't know everything. And I'm not perfect. But I don't want to sound like I know a lot of stuff...

So, this is fun...

My mother-in-law is currently living with us. We live right next door to my father-in-law and his new wife. My mother-in-law has a yellow Labrador that was raised, from a puppy, with my father-in-law's chocolate Labrador. They haven't lived together since the divorce 5(?) ish years ago (duh!), but they still know each other (the dogs, I mean).

There is a fence around my yard, but because this house and the one my father-in-law lives in were built sort of together (at about the same time, I mean) and by the same family, there is a gate between our house and his. It's always open, because...huh, yeah, I don't even know. I should close it. Anyway, these two doggies are always going back and forth to visit each other. Which means that sometimes my mother-in-law is over in the other yard to get her dog, and sometimes my father-in-law is over here, fetching (haha, geddit? Dogs, fetching...yeah, nevermind) his dog.

The divorce, apparently, made both these people pretty bitter. They don't like to see each other, and avoid it whenever possible. To make it even more strained and awkward, my...step-mother-in-law...is extremely jealous and gets upset if my mother-in-law is anywhere within a 300-mile radius. At these times, my father-in-law gets really cranky (due to constant nagging and unpleasantness, I'm sure) and will come over here, so long as his ex-wife is not around, and complain to myself or my husband about the whole situation. My mother-in-law insists that she feels no awkwardness about any of this stuff whatsoever, but yet, she goes out of her way to avoid her ex-husband and his wife, and will complain about them to me (but never to my husband, because she honestly doesn't want to make it harder for him than it already is...at least, I THINK she doesn't...)

My mother-in-law is going to rent a house less than three blocks away from us, and therefore also less than three blocks away from my father-in-law.

I'm not sure where I was originally going with this thought process, but after typing it out, I've determined that WE should move into town, and that dogs have better memories than I would have thought.

P.S.- lil_christian, relax, anyone that thinks that you're a know-it-all just doesn't know you...at all. :D

I love it when there's a new way to pronounce a word. Like the word schedule for instance. I always say it like "skedjewel", but then one time I was watching Star trec last generation or whatever and Captain Picard said "shed dual". No K sound. I said it that way a few times but I pause right before I say it and come off sounding like George Bush. Anyway a friend pronounced a new way for the word glacier - I say it like "glayshure". She said "glassier". Doesn't that sound more like a glacier?

And MissCris - could you send an aerial of your location with stars or something showing the dogs and in-laws locations? Like with a little "I'm here" arrow might be helpful. I'm having a little trouble following your story which I'm sure I would or could follow if I knew what was where and when. You can.....shedule" this at your earliest.

yup, shed-dual and glassier, I agree :D :p (I wonder why my accent is more American than British when we were supposed to learn the British English rather than American in school.) I hope I will learn to speak Scottish while living here (at least now I understand them :p )

Daaah well. Spoke too soon.

Mia texted me tonight and dropped the f-bomb. But that's okay, I was excited at the prospect, I suppose, but in the end...meh. And I'm perfectly content with friendship. Truth be told, I'm not good at moving fast, so who knows? A few more months of friendship could change things. Or not.

But if you all recall, I did keep telling you guys she was out of my league. ^_-
I'm quoting this and had to PM Shour to find out, but I'm curious if anyone else thought he meant literally the f-bomb. Because...I'm just wondering if I was the only clueless one. It's okay if I was, it happens all the time in my everyday life. :)

At first I thought he meant literally dropped the f-bomb. Then he talked about friendship and I was like "....OOOOOHHHH....THAT f-bomb..." hahaha

I like the "some other junk" part of your map. You should bury treasure and then add an X and you'll be golden! ;)

Oh...and I have no advice. Just...err...sympathy? Or something like that. :D

Well. It definitely sounds classier.

My first thought too. I was like, "wha tha...?" and he was talking about the relationship kinda like it was over, and I was like, "darn right it's over, with a mouth like that!"

Then I read it again and thought some more. Hahahahahaaaaa....

(Though I'm really sorry you got friendzoned, Shour...)

He did mean "friends", but it took a whole PM from me to him and him telling me that to understand it. I didn't figure it out on my own. It's been one of those weeks for my brain, apparently.

So the Fbomb was friends?? I was thinking - well, like what it would be at my house - Foreclosure. My sister's boyfriend had a bit of an F bomb with Fatherhood not too long ago. But Friend?

I love kids. <3 They're so creative and full of light. But it's so sad how the world just suffocates it and their light dies off along with their innocence. What can be done? How can we help?

Celebrities without makeup...they pretty much look like you and me. They're literally buried underneath their makeup. When they finally take it off, you can barely even recognize some of them. Amazing.

Ya know, just because you're friend zoned right now doesn't mean you'll always be there.
