Jesus has already been crucified, no need to crucify Zimmerman. Is he an innocent man? No. Did he commit murder under US Law? A jury of his peers says no.
I hope you try every victim, like you do Trayvon. Yes he was a victim. He's dead. I hope you prosecute with the same gusto every single victim of a shooting. But I suspect that you don't. Not even close.

Martin was no saint. He was into a lot of trouble, taking intoxicants and seemingly violent. This was no 12 yr old kid walking around and some evil guy stalked him.
He stalked Zimmerman. Read up on the four minutes.
The drink and candy he got at the store were two parts of an intoxicant he had used in the past enough to be found in his liver at autopsy. An intoxicant, used in the way he used it, which caused violent behaviors.
This was no choir boy. He had as much, if not more responsibility for the tragedy as Zimmerman did.
But why let facts get in the way of hating a man because he is not black.
Kinda sad really.

What do you mean only a few people put an emphasis on race? The entire media and the DA's office put an emphasis on race. This was already ruled as a justifiable shooting by the police department until race got brought up and it turned into a dog and pony show.
I don't place any emphasis on race. But I'm not the media. I look at the evidence and see this was not the 12 year old they keep showing photos of, this was the young man who, in his own words, wanted to be "gangsta."
How many teenagers do you know who walk around with people who carry thousands of dollars worth of cash on them and ask strangers on youtube where to find codeine? Drug dealers and overpriveledged youth (who should face jail time for it but never seem to be held accountable for their actions thanks to their overpaid lawyers).
No, they wouldn't be.
I remember someone posting about a robbery gone bad at an ATM where a black man shot a white woman's baby during this trial. It never reached national news coverage status. A baby, this guy shot a freaking baby.
The PC nuts who keep screaming about racism probably should focus on how this was yet another young man who went down a wrong path. Don't give him a pass based upon his skin color, bring up the tendency for young people in the US to glamorize drugs and violence.

Professor Penn’s vision is probably shared by his colleagues, seeing as he was the recipient of MSU’s Distinguished Faculty Award in 2003. University of Southern California professor Darry Sragow shares Penn’s opinion. Does this guy realize the Republican party was founded on the principle of abolition, and that the Democratic party at the time was known as the Southern Democratic Party and wanted to continue slavery and even expand it.
You can accuse the Republican party about a lot of things (and you can accuse the Democratic party about a lot of things too), but racism isn't one of them.
the thing is, without racism there wouldn't be a big government loving democrat party.
That's why the Zimmerman case was so huge. Another example of the democrat party engaging their base and promoting the ideal of racism and hatred of whites....or those who seem to be white.
Its why this president is the most racist president since...Woodrow Wilson? Without the excuse of his skin color, he would not have been elected. Liberal Guilt. Minority idealism of, finally we are in the white house ( no matter that minorities are the hardest hit by this economic malaise caused by the policies, and purposely so, of this administration )

Of course MLK was a republican. It's only post welfare that the African American community started to identify with the Democratic party. The irony is the Democrats were practicing yet another form of slavery then - economic slavery. LBJ is on quote as having said "I'll have those (offensive word for black people) voting Democrat for another 200 years" in relation to welfare.
And yes, abortion affects the black community in a disproportionate manner versus the white community. But no one talks about it because that would be racist. Just like no one talks about the reverse racism of voting based upon whether someone isn't white.
We're so hung up on race and minority status in this country. It's part of why we can't get anything done.

Pretty sick stuff. One of my Republican friends and his Republican wife are blond haired blue eyed Americans of German stock and they adopted three black orphans. The children are now finishing high school at the top of their class and are well socialized, well behaved, wonderful people.
Fortunately for them, they live in a Republican dominated area and don't have to deal with liberal racism against their mixed family.

In a population where the illegitimacy rate is over 70%, the abortion rate in NYC for blacks is over 60%, the african american family has been under attack since the Great Society.
The illegitimacy rate skyrocketed soon after the law was passed where the father of the baby did not have to be known for an unwed mother to get welfare. The more babies ya got the bigger the check. The USA is supporting illegitimacy!
The racial group most affected by Obama's failed economic policies ( actually they are very successful from his point of view since his goal is to destroy our economy, stated in pre-election statements by Obama )....
