My dog started shaking her ears today, once, then, another time in the same hour, and , a third time, so, I see her do occassional shakes, maybe, one or two times a day, but, not three times in the same span of an hour so....
I checked her ears and, sure enough, there is some bump on the flap of her ear. It looks like a pimple, we will watch it and see if she's shaking her head on Monday and if she is scratching her ear with her foot .

And, it was on a topic that soooo many people liked, it was on a topic that Jesus came to Earth mostly for, to 'save sinners.'
A thread about telling others about Jesus, and, if you ASK Jilly her favorite word in all of worddom, it would probably be: Jesus
Anyway, like I appreciate IToreHis, who's been chief instrumentalist in support of the 'man cave' thread sermons I gave to the men, (where, oh where, is dear seatbelted ) , and, like I, and, many others appreciated jilly, too, as she did a WITNESSING thread that folks hit 'like' on IN RECORD TIME, I could be wrong but SAME DAY thread was made, jill's thread was a FIVE SHIELD THREAD , but, yes, like we ALL appreciate arwenbaggins too for her doing this thread, right
Now, arwenbaggins thread here, STREAMS OF CONSCIOUSNESS, is also about the TWO things that are most important of ALL the commandments per Jesus, saying these two ALL the rest of the commands hinge on:
1. Love God with ALL our heart, mind, body, soul.
2. Love others as ourself. (That's right, God tells us that it is quintessential we NOT only Love others, but we Love ourselves., in a good way, in a God way, not a selfish way, of course )
This thread by arwenbaggins' thinking mind started helps us all Love each other more, right, righty, righty-O
So, without further ado, ask the dishes or the grey stuff, they'll say that this thread is DELICIOUS, and, so be arwen's guest on her OP and give ARWENBAGGINS a REP mark by hitting the STAR symbol in the bottom left corner. Last week, A group of adults and myself (I could call myself an adult but I still act like a kid because acting like an adult is boring) were helping a younger friend pick out a homecoming dress.
I randomly blurted out what I was thinking about a particular dress that was really long and flowy (which my young friend did not like because she thought it was too formal looking). I said I liked flowly dresses because they are like pretty princess dresses. I was immediately asked what was wrong with me and I said "what, you've never seen a Disney movie, all of the dresses are billowy and flowy and look like pretty princess dresses.
So far, I have escaped the nick name princess. I am still nick named lumpy after a Leave it to Beaver character. I still don't get that one.

Thinking it might be better when nicknaming other people's kids to do it silently & not aloud.
After many months,the apartment across the hall from me is finally being rented. They are a young couple,perhaps in their mid to late 20's at best & they have a son who can't be more than 4.
Surprisingly they are very quiet thus far,as is the boy. The funny thing about their child is that he apparently likes to wander off or just gets really bored & feels an inner Indiana Jones calling within him to explore,because his parents have to use the top latch lock on their front door to keep him from a jail break.
If you are near my front door you can hear him laughing or talking about something in his rambling child-like voice as he's clearly got the front door open pulling on it ,while it's still chain locked from above. Thus only giving the listener brief snippets of what the convo is between him & his mom. Almost like when someone's phone is cutting in & out,yet add the random sound of a door being open & closed.
So in all this I take great amusement. Mixed with the fact that I have seen this boy fully clothed all the time,with the exception of any sort of footwear. (socks included)
Of course because I myself have the demented mentality of a child at times,I wonder if his parents won't let him have a pair of sweet sweet running shoes or a good hiking boot,in fear of his obvious desire for escape! I will know more come winter. Because if this little dude isn't sporting any footwear come first snowfall,then I believe my suspicions are correct.
So,getting back to the nickname...
Now with all that said,I one day just happen to say hi to them as they are coming home as I am leaving,and he comes out of the backseat of the care (minus socks & shoes,as always) and I say directly to him "What's up little Michael Scofield?"
Perhaps I just should have chosen less of a vague character parallel...maybe not someone wanting to break free from a prison...maybe the Indian Jones idea...due to it's more light hearted nature as well as iconic pop culture value??? I dunno..either way,maybe I should have just said hi & called him by his name & be done with it.
So for those of you that didn't get why I called him that,and more than likely have the same awkward/uncomfortable look on your faces now as his parents did then,I will explain who Michael Scofield is. (not that it will lay your minds at ease) There was a show maybe 4 yrs ago that was called Prison Break. Long & short of it was that this Scofield's brother was framed for murder & was sentenced to be executed,so he devises this elaborate plan to get arrested,thrown in the same prison as his brother & then break out together,etc...
So,yeah...I explain all this to them & that I notice their kid is always trying to get out of the house,yadda yadda yadda...some uneasy laughter,have a nice day...blah blah blah.
Thank God I didn't mention anything about his anti-shoe wearing self!
I have shared all this with you before I head off to work this morning...why you may ask?
...sigh,I just don't know. I just seemed like a change of pace,rather than me sharing with you how good this cup of hazelnut coffee tastes right now.

I get really restless at this time of year. Yesterday, I went and played in the freezing, pouring rain and took some pictures (and maybe possibly killed my camera...not sure, I mean, water DOES have that effect on electronics...) just to get out of the house. Sometimes, it feels like I am suffocating in here. Too many walls, I guess.
I really miss my friend today. Good as I am at keeping occupied and discovering stuff by myself, sometimes I just want to wreak havoc with my best friend. One time, we went rat hunting in the loft of an old, decrepit barn. She was jumping from rafter to rafter, waving a flashlight around and barely watching where she was going, and there I was, frozen with fear at the top of the ladder, clinging to my flashlight like it would save me from falling through the rotting wood and dying on the barn floor among moldy hay and horse poo.
I told her to be careful about a zillion times, and she just laughed at me until I joined her.
I fell off a beam into the stack of hay bales, and got stuck.
Some people are cut out to live dangerously, and others...get trapped between hay bales at midnight while their friend laughs at them.
