Hi,
I was wondering, BEFORE you became a Christian, was there something that REALLY irritated you about their way of conduct or something particular they said when they were trying to minister to you?
For example I used to dislike when they said,
Matthew 7:1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged."
Sometimes when I hear that, I feel that it sounded soooo Holier than thou and hypocritical. I would think "Are you not judging me now by saying that?". The reason I post this is so I can learn how to better conduct myself as a Christian
Anyway, I post this because I want to hear
First: What you disliked hearing before you became a Christian that could have deterred you away from the religion
Second: How since becoming a Christian can you not do the same to others in order to minister more effectively
Please do not criticize other people's comments on this thread as the whole point of this thread is to learn not judge.
God Bless
