There are times when I really love being single and other times when it feels incredibly lonesome and I would love to be sharing my experiences with a Christian husband. Either way, I'm learning to always give thanks unto the Lord!

I was married for 16 years, and have only been single for a little over 1. Do I enjoy it? I enjoy certain aspects of it, but I do miss the companionship.

I don't really know if I can say I enjoy it because I've never had a boyfriend. I'm contempt though. I don't feel like I need to look for someone.

I'll assume you meant to say "I'm content though" or was it a Freudian slip, having contempt for being single? :)

Yes and no. There are many things I enjoy about it . I prayed for years that God would give me grace and help me to be content no matter what his will for me was and He has :) At the same time I still desire to get married and have a family , but only with the ok from God. :)

I am just used to it, I don't like it, but I am always alone, I eat alone, I pray alone, I live alone, I sleep alone, I go to church alone,
I do everything alone as well and sometimes it sucks but other times it's quite peaceful

We're never alone. The Lord is always with us. We can talk to him. I think he wants us to.

Isnt this the same Chili that someone found a half chopped finger in??? Look it up if you dont believe me :p

I enjoy being single. If i find a wife she will have to learn to listen to me or were going to have problems :D I am not one to be controlled. Dont get me wrong, I listen and I am very conscientious of both parties, but I got that military no BS attitude as well. Besides, my mom wore the pants in the family and I cant stand seeing my dad just nod in agreement with everything she says. Especially because in his previous marriage he was the man of the house. Anyway, I may end up being single for quite awhile but thats ok :D
It wasn't MY finger. I think that is the important thing.

tbh, not always. but what's so awesome being single is that God always wants to remind me that only Jesus can fill the empty spaces in my heart that i wrongly assume any man can fill. :)
