If we see the verses around those 2 separate quotes you gave, then we can see from it's context that it refers to believing on Jesus and letting our light (Christ in us) shine, preaching the gospel.
1John 3:11-18

Many will focus on this only in physical terms.
But scripture is spiritually discerned, 1Cor 2:14.
Consider how God describes terms as found in Matt 25.
What is the spiritual food/drink that mankind is in need of?

And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
Who are those in spiritual prison but those who are without Christ.
Isa 61:1

And what is the state of mankind without Christ?
It's sick, and needing to hear the gospel of Christ.

How are the spiritually naked clothed?
Isa 61:10
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
And those without Christ are strangers who need to hear the gospel to be taken into God's kingdom.
Eph 2:12
that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
When we share the gospel of Christ we offer to take in the lost so that they may no longer be strangers.
Eph 2:19
Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
So we see scripture speaking in spiritual terms regarding preaching the gospel of grace. And doing the works of believing in Jesus (John 6:29) Christians also let their light shine preaching the gospel of Christ to spiritually feed, clothe, heal and set free, the lost.
Matt 5:14-16
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

now haz has got the meaning to the verses they deliver a message now i as on my smart phone as there is so much you can do on a smart phone :now we must preach and share the gospel not just by words alone but in our very lives that is what i meant by them to feel the real christ when we are living a rightfull life the presence of the Lord oftenly reffered to the countenance of the Lord originaly . now living the rightfull life is important to not only salvation but to seee the kingdom of heaven remembering jessus had said unless your deeds exceed the deeds of the pharicees and scribes you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven , and scriptures say the heavens proclaim his righteousness and if the heavens proclaim his righteousness(psa 97:6) then it brings into rememberance as written the part of the Lord's prayer "your will be done on earth as is in heaven " this answers many things my brethtren for the mysteries are given to his chosen . but the rest rececive it as parables(confusion)because if seen by natural means they cannot discern for the word says the natural man cannot receive the spiritual things for they are spiritualy discerned . now we see his will be done as in heaven now on earth and the heavens proclaim his righteousness and we are to do the same , even Our Lord jesus showed us by example wich is the rightfull order (rom 12:1,1 john3:16 ) then it is written for thou lovest righteousness and hatest wickedness (psa 45:6-7) and we must do the same (psa 97:10) be there imitators of christ in spirit and in truth that his truth be fulfilled in you that you may have the right to the tree of life ..amen

Apostol I know exactly what you are talking about, why people felt the need to nitpick you about I haven't the foggiest. If we truly have the love of Christ In us we will be willing to die for each other. I see my life less valued than the lives of others because I care about them. Why should others have to die and have their families and friends suffer when I can simply give my own life instead. Besides they may not be saved, so if giving my life can give them more time to be saved then fantastic! It's really a win, win for me. Because in my opinion giving your life to save another is the best way to die, plus this could help them in the process of finally knowing Jesus Plus I can finally go home and be with my precious King.

All this about how devoted the church is to even laying down their life for Christ, is great. Yes, the world that Christ and God tells us about, the spiritual world that our physical world can touch is much superior. But if we will express love for each other, and we will keep to God's way and away from sin to the point we would lay down our life, why is it I can find no one to take me to church on Sunday or help with getting groceries? I know a marriage in the church that is in trouble and scripture talks about they can go together to the church for help in working it out, yet there is no help. I know a man who has had no work for a long time, he needs help. God says to help, they say no. It is a LOT less than laying down a life.
Because sadly Redtent the church these days is not abundant in Christ's love. Some churches are but not more than few. I would certainly love to help you out and help others who need the help in your church, if only I went there and lived nearby.

11 of the 12 disciples were brutally murdered, the 12 is believed to have diedin prison after being tortured and the apostle Shaul got beheaded in Rome, all for speaking Yahweh's truth. They exactly layed down their lives for their brothers and sisters in Messiah. They at risk of death, which was a clear danger in their day, and will be again one day, still stood strong in Yahweh truth and spoke truth no matter the consequence, all so their fellow humans may taste of the treasure of Messiah that Yahweh has prepared for those who will enter the kingdom. Yes, unfortunately, There are many with worship with just lips and their hearts far from God, not seeing what Christ did for them, and not dying to self with Christ and not coming to new life in God to worship from the heart od compassion that God gives us if we really do believe. Praying for what needs to be for you to be for you from God. Which I trust somehow allyour literal needs will be met and are, in spite of just the lip worshippers.
If the Armageddon comes in our time, we will surely get to find this out, and not take the Mark. To all those that hold onto anything of in this earth world, will be tested, such as in your Children. A terrible will come one day, are we ready to die and not take the Mark of the beast? Better yet are we ready to watch our Children, wife, significant other die in front of us, unless we deny Christ. We can talk it, but can we actually walk it. Just looking at reality. Are we really ready to die and give up all we have here on earth? This is not between Me, you and another, it is between God and you. There are scriptures pertaining to this.
Matthew 10:37 “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
