In your comment on "theistic" conflicts, I imagine the definition you had in mind was all those who accept the existence of God or gods.

Marxism is essentially atheism, materialism, and economic determinism wrapped in a Hegelian dialectic framework. Going by your logic before the Soviets were brought up by Jimmy, Communism counts as atheism.

We both know that isn't the case. So why don't we consistently consider theistic and atheistic worldviews before tossing them under the rug?

I was kind of surprised about that myself. I knew they were largely ignorant and behind on scholarship, but I didn't think they were still stuck in 1347.

Egyptian Muslims have been persecuting Christians, other religious groups, and atheists for a long time now.

I don't really like the first video because it misrepresents language. I'm not an expert on the attacks against Christians in the region so I can't say much on the rest.
