KenThomas: Awesome doors! Are you thinking of painting or staining them? I just finished making some boat oars, that was a fun project. They just need to be... coated with a kind of grease that is not firm at room temperature, if you catch my drift. I might put up some pics of them in time.

I made a couple of doors today. The doors on this out building were all rotted and I had been meaning to replace them. I made the doors out of 2X6 pine. I ripped them down a little a planed the edges and put them all together with biscuit joints then drilled through and pounded in dowels for extra hold. I put chamfer joints on the edges to dress it up and I'm going to screw in cross rails on the backs on the top and bottom to keep them flat and I'm thinking about putting a little shelf in the middle on the back. I think they turned out real nice.

It made me feel like that Alaska guy on PBS! Anyway, I'm not walking down there tonight but i'll take a picture of one in the am because my truck is still down there and will share. It's been raining so I hope I make it out of there.

Why did you make doors?

My dog is dozing by my side, starting to shake a bit inbetween deep breaths, this often is with subsequent mini, soft 'woofs,' saying she is after that varmint, perhaps, after a squirre--oh, I can't say that next letter of that word. And, the 'woof's are accompanied by 'grrr's' she does. This means she's about to get that varmint. This is a quite often event in my days, quite cute :)

I took my kiddos to the park this morning for a bit. My son has yet to get over his aversion to the piece of equipment that you go down by sitting on your bottom. He enjoys throwing rocks and pine cones more. Instead of taking a nap with the kids after we got home, I figured I'd better get to work on the mess we've got out there. We've had 50% the town drive by our yard, staring and pointing, and once or twice offering sympathy, but nobody has yet offered to assist us in putting things back in order (with the exception of the guy across the street, and his yard is second after ours, damage-wise). Good times...

I worked with wee one's this morning at a building filled with knowledge. I also food shopped with my husband and I'm making stuffed shells for dinner. I am going to help my offspring with their homework. My spouse is on a break from work for a week, we will be spending some needed time together. :)

Why did you make doors?
Well, they're just some replacement doors for an outbuilding and I didn't want to spend $$ on them, so I just made them out of some wood I already had. Well almost anyway - I still had to buy about 3 pieces but still a lot less money to build them. So, to answer your question it's because I'm cheap.

i'd like to see some pictures! Oars are hard to make- lots of angles especially on skull type. They sure make pretty pieces and use a lot of hand gouges and stuff I don't even have. I'm sure I'll just paint these doors.

I had the day off today. It's been great! In fact, despite a chore or two, I've just been resting and enjoying my existence. ^_~ Did some music stuff, and may do more. Checked my Youtube, Facebook, and whatnot. I get to check out the house tomorrow, and am stoked about it!! Anyway, might get on Yousing in a bit. Remember...You're Awesome!!

Yes, sarcasm font/because everybody did so well with C/sarcasm font.....I think we need another consonant first. New letter: L

I will do mine after work today.
I woke up before I would have done under the current situation this morning. Instead of remaining in bed, I started my day by checking CC. After a few humorous diaphragm expressions jettisoned past my throat and mouth, I proceeded with my morning routine. I had a meeting first thing this morning, so I didn't retard my evacuation of my dojo, and proceeded onward. A friend of mine required PT in the city located 45 minutes south of here, so that put a nice break in my day. Even though having an hour to pass in the waiting room is not preferred, I brought cryptographs to pass the time. I do enjoy the conversations we have to and from the big city. When so desired, I stop at Taco Time for Stuffed Mexi-Fries and Mr. Pibb.

I prefer Mr. Pibb because he's not as pretentious as that Dr. drink.

Round 2.
Today was peachy sweet at work, but quite busy at home. Today I had a hair cut and friends were saying I appear to be younger. Perhaps, Mr.Darcy may care to marry me now.
Call me 1-800-Debt-Free! or text me. The Savior God is good indeed. :)

My day was very nice indeed. I did housework, booked a few jobs, messed around on the internet, and then managed to be a bit more productive. This evening my daughters and I went to an on-stage adaptation of Pride & Prejudice that a friend directed at the university, and it was amazing! Great cast. I don't know how humans manage to memorize so much at once, and then spit it back out with a British accent to boot. Great evening. :)

I woke up - skipped my morning routine as my workday started before its customary time. I got to see the horses today. Benny forgave me for not giving him carrots the week prior. After work, I taught a session of band to young kids. The ones who work with the very dark, reed instrument did awesome. Home for a bit, then off to choir practice. In addition to singing in the group, I am their substitute accompanist, and am on the piano for the next two weeks. I have to figure out those parts!

Ha ha! You let me go. If you try and arrest me again, I'll sue the whole darn department for harassment! Yeah, that's right, I've seen ALL of the Law & Orders plus most of the spin offs.

Since you haven't posted the new letter to avoid for today, you can't penalize me yet! So put those cuffs away and bite my fanny Green-not-so-nice!

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing,' shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, 'You fool,' shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell. 23"Therefore if you are presenting your offering at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your offering there before the altar and go; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and present your offering.
