Anyone know of any good technical death metal, sort of the same style as fleshgod apocolypse or the berzerker?

A Hill to Die Upon sounds a bit like them, I'm not the best source though, wait for Ugly to weigh in

Yeah apparently there was a lot of controversy over that one. He said he was still a christian when he released it, but then said he wasn't shortly after he got arrested. I haven't heard it yet, so I don't have a clue

I believe that project was made with some blatantly non-Christian, and i believe somewhat anti-Christian members.
 
This is one of the few Tech Death Christian bands out there. Sadly it's a neglected genre
