All your crusades against seemingly everything is begging the question, what do you do? Are you a monk in solitary confinement who's distanced themselves from the world, from the people of the world, to the point where you can't make connections with people whatsoever? That's the impression I'm starting to get from you. And it's kinda like the pharisees. The pharisees couldn't connect to the common people. They were too busy with their spirits of religiousity, where all they could see was what was not of God, but they couldn't see anything that was of God. And as such, Jesus rebuked them on a number of occassions. I hope you haven't fallen into that group.
Sadly that's not the country that I live in.

I think Praus is definitely not like a Pharisee. These people were such hypocrites, I don't think we fully understand their hypocrisy today.
It might be hard for you to realise, but I think that we ignore a lot of evil today, because we have been desensitised to it. Praus has been highlighting some of the evils we have probably overlooked, as we are used to seeing them on a daily basis.

I'm throwing some ideas out there so we can try to discern these things together, I'm not expecting to change anyone's mind. I'm not desensitized, I live in Los Angeles and I've been noticing the mammon obsession for a long while.
I ran away from Jesus Christ for more than 30 years--I know very well what the world looks like when you live outside of the word of God--it's brutal and it gets worse every year. Today is October 14, I have 16 months alcohol-free today--that's from drinking to vomiting every day for years.
Daily rigorous Bible study seems to be critical to my continuing sobriety. I can't get that kind of healing from any other text or anything else I've ever run across. Even my atheist friends see the fruits of this--18 months ago they wondered (behind my back) if I was about to die.
I hope and pray we are all seeking the Blood of the Lamb daily-- that's what I preach--because that's what really keeping me alive (and saved).
