Seriously that is my only question WHY??? why on different sites such as facebook myspace, even this one for example.. do women that say there christians post pictures of themselves hardly wearing any clothes or there shirts so low cut they might as well not be wearing one... or the way there posed in the picture is rediculas... i mean i understand you wanna look nice in a picture but COME ON.. why is it necessary to dress like that.. or to stand that way.

What got me thinkin about this was some of my friends just recently got a myspace page, and these are dedicated christian women. Well they posted pictures up of themselves that they took standing in front of a mirror, and there hardly wearing any clothes... THEN they have the nerve to wonder WHY so many guys are messaging them sayin nasty stuff.. its like seriously? do you really wonder why..... so i dont understand... someone tell me Why is that necessary. Why is it okay for a woman to say there christians and dress borderline like a street walker, and pose like your tryin to get sex.... Or what about those women out there that preach this that and the other till kingdom come.. and look like there gettin ready to pose for maxim...

Does that irritate anyone else or is it just me? I feel as a woman its embarassing to me to see women like that. Because i wonder what other people must be thinking about christian women... .

I think it just shows that these women aren't totally committed to the Christian walk. And different people of both genders have different ways of expressing this.

Lots of girls want to be seen as beautiful and feel that they have value. An easy way to get this is to get the attention and praise of men. Since it's easier to make yourself more attractive on the outside than it is on the inside, a lot of people take this route.

I'm glad to hear another girl speaking out against this! For me, I'll take the girl dressing modestly. Who knows where the other one has been.

I think makeup is the problem. It is a creation of satan and when girls put it on it makes them want to take everything else off.

I think the problem has to do with more than a girl simply putting on makeup. I think it is nice of you to think that women do not need makeup but come on do you really think makeup is the real problem?

I do not like to see women especially young girls dressed in a provocative way. I do not feel a women has to dress in revealing clothes to be beautiful.

Im sorry, but theres MANY young LADIES and older LADIES at my church that wear makeup all the time & look very nice. None of them look or act like street walkers & they love the Lord with all their hearts! I just think its unfair 2 say makeup makes women want to take their clothes off!

Yes, I think its part of the problem. Makeup, fancy clothes, all these products in bottles, facebook, modelling, advertising, its all related. Look at the advertisements for makeup on television, look at the clothes they are wearing in the ads. Its one and the same and it gets into people's heads. I would like to see a return to this type of clothing:

What better way to set ourselves apart from the world by dressing modestly, and doing away with all the products and chemicals of modern society! I'm not saying we should all be amish, I'm just saying this would give credibility to our claims as christians that we are different from the world.

Many people call themselves Christians without having any idea what the word means. Myspace is idiotic in the first place. Never go there. Never have. You can blame the girls, but you can also blame society.

What modern society says to young people today is, sex+looks+ money = happiness. Most of the sheep seem to follow that route. I am personally looking for a girl who goes against the flow no matter how hard it is because her principles matter more than what other people think.
 
Even though they complain...they secretly like the attention they are getting. They do not have the Holy Spirit...or if they do, they do not listen to it. It's sad but all Christians mess up. It's like a blind spot. For some it's things like alcohol or lies...or others it's sex or lust. All we can do is pray for them.
