I'd bet this is hilarious...if I understood it. Anyone want to explain it to me, then throw it at me again to see if it still goes over my head?

It's become kinda painfully clear to me of late that my kind of humor is waaaaay to immature. Moderators - please? Is there a kid's CC I can join? (walks away with head down and drool running out of mouth)

oh well - back to work...

To paraphrase kenthomas, it's going under your head.

"Meh" is a word (more properly called an interjection) with Jewish origins that expresses indifference or apathy. Kind of like saying "What's that spell? Who gives a rat!"

Thank you sooooooo much! Just that little bit of information helps us understand kenthomas27's joke, for those of us who were scratching our heads. A comic can only be truly appreciated when the audience understands the reference. That is why some comedians, like Dennis Miller, don't last long. Most of his references didn't resonate with the Monday Night Football fans.

Prior to the "Naked Gun" trilogy of movies, the TV show, "Police Squad," was introduced. It only lasted six episodes which made me sad because I love that type of humor. The reason for its cancellation was "the viewers had to think too much." The question is then, is it better to stay true to the individual's vision, water it down to appease the masses, or a balance between the two.

All kidding aside, I can absolutely see why you would cherish your jewish roots. :) Studying the history and customs of the jews can greatly enhance the reading of scripture I've found. It's a blessing :)
