Ugh! I read Matt 5:17 and 5:43-44 and Matt 5:19 and I think Jesus enforces the LAW. Then I saw He approached Samaritans in Jn 4:9. Social enemies of Jewish people, and He said sonething we ignored (Jn 4:22). Does this applies for samaritan onlym who became Catholics?

Some teachings keep me Catholic yet, but Apollo moved to were some Jewish were expecting (Acts 18:24-28). Since God is SPIRIT I need the baptism Jesus is about to bring in my life, as a promise and a SEAL (Acts 19:1-6) Because I walked in the baptism of repentance that John mentioned.

I choose to believe in Jesus! No matter other might say.

And many are making this same point, just from different angles.
Kind of like firemen putting out a fire. There are four corners as to which are four firemen, all are putting out the fire each from a different corner. Yet all are after to putting out the very same fire. If we all could just sit back a little, view the battle from the stands, and see what others are saying as well, with God who lives in us to see truth and error without condemning the others. And then we might love as God does, you think? praying so
whos battling and whos is condeming,if they want to miss quote thats up to them. i will point it out.(best i can) however when has my quote, been used to condemed or miss used, to further my point of veiw. the facts are plain to see.(not to all by your statement) and there are different walk and sects on here. take a j/ witness they call them self christain, but do they believe in jesus, as the saviour.
and this is not a church, so if they want to think that, thats up to them. as it say christain chat and forum on the door of this web site. god bless you too.

Relevance?

If one is a part of this covenant ratified by the blood of Yahshua they will love Yahweh's Law, as how could it be written in ones heart if they rejected it?

Yeremyah 31:33, "After those days, says Yahweh: I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; minds, and I will be their Father, and they will be My people.
The law which the Holy Spirit writes on their hearts is the law of love of God and others, which gives them to love God and others, thus fulfilling the law.
"On these two commandments hang all the Law"
Your point?

Mattithyah 22:37-40, "Yahshua said to him: You must love Yahweh your Father with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your hneighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."
Jesus explained that he was referring to the Ten Commandments when he said love fulfilled the law.
More than 10...
So more than ten are fulfilled simply by loving God and neighbor.

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be.
And Jesus said: "the work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." (Jn 6:29)

"Repent, and believe the good news!" (Mk 1:16)

I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices falsehood."
Keeping in mind that they are outside the New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb.

All those outside the Bride of the Lamb are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers.

You may argue that you "never said follow the law for salvation" but those like yourself determine righteousness by works of the law regardless.

You clearly follow a lukewarm doctrine that mixes grace with works of the law.

We cannot mix grace with works of the law.
Rom 11:6
And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Prophecy is HISTORY written ahead of time, so, only God can prophesy ; AND the real world is made of physical people and spiritual being, angels, who are all involved in making the history, His story, God's story, happen . God has to make the evil and the good alive to us. therefore God chose to make His prophecy very ugly, and beautiful at the same time. His purpose is to REVEAL and also to make it complicated, even hard to understand for a test to our trusting Him, and waiting on Him .He is in no hurry. It is all a trail, like endurance race for us to win the prize of eternal life.: read 1Cor 9:23-27 2Cor. 13:5 "disqualified"=LOST. First, prophecy is given, 2nd, it happens(history), then 3rd. God interprets it, by His "HOLY MEN" 1Pet. 1:10-12 2Pet.1:19-21. Love to all, Hoffco

And Jesus said: "the work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent." (Jn 6:29)

"Repent, and believe the good news!" (Mk 1:16)
"Believe in the one the Father has sent." So then let's believe in what he says. Christ says "repent and believe the good news". What is the good news? Because the good news Christ preached was not that Christ would go to the cross; he never actually told *anyone* to believe he would die on the cross (for their sins), except his disciples. The only other times he alluded to it was when he was arguing with the pharisees and mentioned (1) destroying & rebuilding the temple in 3 days and (2) that they would get no sign of his authenticity but the prophet Jonah.

Other than that, he never told ANYONE except his closest people he was going to the cross. Yet Christ CONSTANTLY preached the good news to *everyone*, just like John. John ALSO preached the good news, but again he never preached to people that Christ would go to the cross; he only told his closest disciples that Christ was "the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world". So what's the good news?

The good news is that the Kingdom of heaven (and all the blessings that it represents) approaches; that it's near/imminent, so John & Christ was telling people to repent of their sins to get ready for it (i.e. "get clean by being baptized and turning from one's sinning"). Again, sinning = breaking God's commandments, so they were telling people to obey the commandments.

This is also why Christ went on and on about the kingdom; why he would tell people how they should conduct themselves in the kingdom to come; explaining how God's eternal law operated in the coming kingdom, and how we should treat each other in that kingdom. This parable and that parable for understanding the kingdom that IS on its way; the reward one would instead receive if one gave up this kingdom.

"Thy Kingdom Come...Thy will be done." this is the gospel. The gospel is *only* possible after Christ went to the cross, but the gospel is The Coming Kingdom.

---

So a young man, believing in the one whom God has sent (Jn 6:29), came up to Christ and asked him...

Matthew 19:16
Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?
And Christ gave him an answer to how he can obtain what he wants...

Matthew 19:17
17 And He said to him, "Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments."
Now the next question is the obvious one...

Matthew 19:18
18 Then he said to Him, "Which ones?" And Jesus said, "YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT MURDER; YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY; YOU SHALL NOT STEAL; YOU SHALL NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS;

19 HONOR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER; and YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF."
In other words, Christ points to the commandments shouted down at Mt. Sinai as the way to "enter into life". Then...

Matthew 19:20
20 The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?"
The final piece to finish the task.

Matthew 19:21
21 Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be **complete**, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.
And this scene has two more witnesses in scripture: Mark 10:17-21 & Luke 18:18-22. In BOTH accounts the rich man is requesting the way to eternal life, and in BOTH instances Christ (1) references the commandments from Mt. Sinai to obey and then (2) tells the young man to follow him to complete the process.

This is what Christ means when he says he hasn't come to destroy/abolish the law but to fulfill it. Obedience to the Commandments given at Mt. Sinai is the first element required for entering into life, but to "complete" the formula one needs the faith of Christ.

John 1:16-17
16 For the *fullness* of him we have all received, moreover grace upon grace. 17 For (a) the Law was given through Moses; (b) grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.
The one-two punch. The Lock & Key.

These are the laws still valid to Christians, spoken by Christ himself. So let's believe in the one whom God has sent.

I feel very sorry for you three (and more ) I don't need name you ,you know who I mean by what I say: "YOU MOCK GOD" by denying the HOLY FAITH , REPENTANCE and HOLINESS that God requires of you to inherit Heaven and you keep glorifing "Faith ONLY" as in a free gift, like , you think sal., is totally free, just for the asking, NO WAY! SORRY , Gal.6:1-10 tells me , You are mocking God and you will end up in HELL. If you don't "SOW to the SPIRIT" fruits of a holy life, you are not going to Heaven , you will never inherit the Kingdom of God. Jesus made it so plain, only good people go to Heaven, Bad people go to Hell.! Jh,5:28-29. Now ,I will say it LOUD and CLEAR: If you are a law breaker, You will go to HELL, Love to all. Hoffco

No matter what there is a distinct difference in before the cross and after the cross. I see it wise to remember this before under Law under curse, and after freed from the curse of the flesh that could not obey the Law in it's entirety, all the way down to that rich man that literally obeyed all the Mosaic Laws from birth on. And he still walked away sad, not being able to give up worldly pleasure for eternity in through Christ to Father. Matt 19, shows one's complete inability to obey Law, perfectly, and one's need to be born again dead to flesh Spirit and alive to God's Spirit, and this did not take place until after the cross, and the ascension, in order for that very first day of Pentecost to take place, where believer's in the finished work of Christ are born again from God the Father, not ever earned, a gift to us from God can we rejoice or continue to put self flesh works in the midst?

I do not know why you are feeling this way about what is said by me from me to all.
Do we not all have our own stories? Are our own stories real to each or not? Do we not all have this right? So why can't we look at the other's story as to why? may the below might help and quit being so concerned as if we are going to be deceived, when Father is faithful to cause each one of his to stand.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Lesson our judgement of others. We never see the whole picture. Never.
there are 1,000 reasons a person can behave a particular way. We don't know what is going on in their movie that motivates them to act in that way. I never know how I'd behave if I were in the other shoes. Today little by little, it would be good to learn to be more forgiving. Learn to where we can come from a place of help, rather than Judgement.

Judgements are only based on what one sees, from their owns thoughts. From their own experiences. There is truly only one that knows all. that one would be and is the creator of all.
If one learns to listen to the creator as Jesus Christ revealed to all mankind. (Christ taught us, to do nothing or say nothing w/o Father's instruction first and foremost), we would make the right judgements, with out condemnation. ( coming from the one listening),much less likely
The ones that argued would reveal their true selves, as was done in the day of visitation from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Steer clear from arguements, seek the truth in all things and one shall be free from the world and it's traps.

Actually, what Jesus made plain is that all who do not believe in him are condemned (Jn 3:18, 36), no matter how good they are.

A warning to all? James ch 3 verse 1 .......
Thats first thing? Secondly Romans 14 verse 4.......

Stop condemning Jew/Greek/gentile / how do you know we're each one is you also are a mere man, ? Gods ways n thoughts are certainly not yours? Nor his ways? Argue yes , debate, by all means, vociferously for the establishment of the truth ? Yes, bt condemning anyone when god has t issued his judgement on his child. Is at best naive, and at worst putting yourself into judgement ? No one wilfully mocks god I hope on here for all to some degree show lots signs he already resides in many here , apology in order here brother?
