Colin (Kah-lin): It has two origins. One is from the name Nicholas in Poland. However, my parents chose it because of the famous Celtic myth hero Cu Chulainn (Koo-kah-lain). Among the Irish the name was shortened to Colin.
Mount: A German/Scots/English name that originally comes from the clan Lamont of Scotland. After the fall of the Kingdom of Scotland to England, the Lamont clan split into four parts. Those who stayed in Scotland took the name Lam/Lamb. Those who went to Ireland became the Lucas family. Those who went to Australia kept the Lamont name. Those who went to England took the name Mont, and eventually married among German aristocracy in England changing the name to Mount.
