I hate when dreams stick with you making you ponder. Had new ones lastnight which is a great break. Very eventful.

Isn't it great when your boyfriends mom believes all the stupid rumors spread by the ex husband? I'm just loving being my boyfriends moms enemy..... {voice dripping, oozing, sopping wet with sarcasm}

Do you ever stop to think that if you weren't related to your family, wether or not you'd have anything to do with them?

I actually have thought of that. I'm afraid I may have wrote that wrong.... I have a wonderful family.. I'm blessed and content with who God gave me as family. I was more referring to my sisters soon to be family. We used to be best friends with her boy friends mom, but she changed a lot to cover a sin in her life... then she got defensive and started the whole " I haven't changed... everyone else has. " idea. It's really sad. I hope and pray she gets things right sooner than later. I still love her but feel very uncomfortable " hanging out " with her.

I'm sorry, that was supposed to be an open question to everyone. It was sparked by your post though. Thank you for sharing.

What a strange week it's been. Not bad, but very weird.

I succeeded at cooking a few things.
My sister was sneaky and got married the other day.
I slept for 10 hours the other night, when I'm used to getting about 7.
My husband and I watched The Fly last night, and...yeah, no words...well, except maybe, "Sick."

Do you ever notice how easily and often people will get up in arms about anything? It seems especially true in the Church.

Now, I'm not trying to step on any toes or be negative, as I'm sure my first line may already 'start something', but seriously...can we grow up a little? We don't have to argue and debate about EVERYTHING. In many ways, our differences can make us strong (*see 1 Cor 12).

On that note, psychologically, we know that anger is a second emotion, so..what's the first emotion? Did the idea counter to yours scare you? Have you been hurt by it? Is there any amount of arrogance, conceit, weakness, or ignorance in your life which will not allow you to objectively see or think about things? (*see 1 Cor 8)

I'm not trying to get on a soapbox or anything, but I'd just like some conversation here. Think people. Please. You can see things many ways (as we do), and even be right in doing so (when simultaneously counter to someone else's viewpoint)!

As an example, 3 blind tribal men felt an elephant in the Savannah for the first time. One grabbed the tail and said, "An Elephant is like a rope." Another grabbed the trunk exclaiming, "An elephant is like a snake." The third found a leg and claimed, "Elephants are like trees."

Now, were all the men right on some level? Yes, they were. On the other hand, did any of the men really understand fully what an elephant was? No, they did not. Such is like us with things in life, let alone those of God or the spiritual realm.

We must have ears to hear, eyes to see, and a mind to understand. (*see Mark 14-21) Even in scripture, this holds true...(*see 2 Timothy 2).

Now, I realize the amount of hypocrisy in this post. I have done this, much as many, but are we not called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds? (* see Romans 12) So why then do we continue to fight about what often times, though of some small substance, does not amount to a great deal? It perplexes me...

Perfect to go along with what I was going to say wwjd!

Seriously, there are so many things I could say to certain people on this site today, but causing enough commotion with certain said members, I really don't feel like causing more. Seriously though, when, when, WHEN will people start using the brains God gave them. I see so many stupid and ignorant arguments made about such asinine things it gives me a headache. (yes, part of what I'm referring to has to do with a dog commercial, please don't bring it up again, I can't take anymore)

There's an internal war that goes on in my head when I watch pro sports games (which isn't that often, admittedly).

I see someone make a mistake, and I feel bad for them, because I'm sure they feel horrible and stupid. But, then I think, "I think for 9 million dollars a year (or more!) I'd be okay with making a mistake." But THEN I think, "Well, a mistake is a mistake, no matter how much money is involved. You still have tens of thousands of people angry at you, you still feel that mess-up, more so in a big game."

But...9 million dollars...I still think I'd be okay with it. ;)

Edited to add: Though, my brain can't really even comprehend 9 million dollars. I don't know what I'd do with all that. I don't think I'd WANT that much, honestly.

I made Ramen noodles for lunch today. Sometimes I like it with lots of broth. I was in a sort of "soup mode" type of feeling.
I thought of MissCris. Then thought of this.... vvvvvvv

My son just got picked up by his dad. Now my house is quiet and empty for the next week. But before he left, we got to work on his Halloween costume, his alter-ego, Honeydew the Dwarf. I performed a quality-control test on the beard this afternoon.
