Halloween is His day, too, but, yes, The Devil has quite a day on this day . The Devil can't read our thoughts but he can easily see our actions and he's more than willing to lead us on to believe that one little day of 'horror' t'aint gonna hurt us in life the next day and the next and the.............
Trick or treat? With Satan, there is NEVER a treat without a trick, a deadly trick behind it, one that is bent on tricking us into leaving Him.
But, thank God, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, in Holy Spirit form, to Earth, through a virgin birth, to save us all from Satan's tricks. Wow! What an ultimate treat God gave humankind, one that can be eaten forever so to speak, forever treated to a life with Him , just by simply having said in our lives while existing,
"Lord, I believe in you, I have faith in what you did on that old, rugged cross, and, one day, I will see you and live with you, forever.'
And, oh, yes, I forgot to answer your thread OP, the answer is 'Yes.' Halloween is day that The Devil knows he can win others to him, even those who were with Him
Were serving Him.
So, don't entertain Satan on this day, of all days, 'course, don't give The Devil a foothold on your life any day and in our Christian human nature, doing things celebratory of Halloween CAN give The Devil a foothold on our life. And, that can make us ANGRY with our selves, with others. That's not good, if you read Ephesians 4, you can see HOW NOT GOOD .
Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body. 26“In your anger do not sin”[SUP]d[/SUP] : Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27and do not give the devil a foothold. 28Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. 29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you
I will serve Him. Dear Lord, help me on this day to bring others to you in whatever YOU have me do. Amen.
