I biked today for a total of...drum roll please...30 minutes, at around 24 mph! :D (Granted, it's one of those old-fashioned exercise bikes that don't have much resistance...but I don't care. I'm still proud of myself. :p)

Those who seek and are blessed with understanding will understand. Those who do not will not if they choose not. What is, IS. Denial changes it not. Unbelief changes it not. Unacceptance changes it not.

Please pray for the Philippines. One of the largest super typhoons ever recorded is headed straight for the center of the country, where all of my mother's family lives. Additionally, the area that will supposedly be hit the hardest is the precise location where my father is currently located.

The storm is expected to make contact within a few hours.

I saw that. :( I wish I could do something besides pray...but I pray protection over the Philippines in Jesus' name, and that loved ones will be safe, because we know You can control that typhoon, just like when you calmed the stormy seas in the Bible. I pray that the Christians over there don't let their faith waver. I pray that the ones that don't know You may see You in this time. In Jesus' name, amen. <3

Amen to Lil's prayer.

"Lord, please protect everyone You will in the Philippines. Let this be a time in which people see Your goodness and glory, even if things get rough. Please let the nonbelievers see peace in the Christians' lives and seek You for themselves.

If You will allow the typhoon to completely miss that area, PLEASE do so, Sir. In the holy Name of Jesus, amen."

Praying for your mom and family in Phillipines, HisLoveneverfails, and, agreeing with littleChristone and jillly in prayer. God will find a way when there seems to be no way. He thinks in ways we cannot see, does things for us entirely, yes, He will find a way for your family :)

is it weird i stare at people all day just so i can tell everything about someone when i fist meet them.?
Nah, maybe, a bit psychotic, but, weird, is it weird, the word, 'weird,' ? Nah. Maybe a bit psychotic and schizophrenic but, 'weird,' nah, not one bit :D

OK, that was being funny, thanks for the opportunity. The Lord leads. But, yeah, here now is a serious question: Why are you staring at people all day just so you can tell everything about them?
Keep in mind, Scripture is clear, we can do nothing without God. And, just in case you think 'nothing' means something, it doesn't. I mean, you can not do anything of your own accord, not successfully, anyway. Remember, whatever you do, even if you're staring at people all day, give that glory to God and if you are thinking your are finding out something about someone from staring at them, go up to them and say, 'I just thought you could use a friendly hug.' And, then, wait, a second, and, if they say 'ok,' or, remain without fists suddenly flying at your face, then, HUG THEM :)

TODAY, the REC ROOM, TOMORROW, the Tour De France !! :D
That sounds pretty impressive in all seriousness, littleChristone, 24mph held pretty steady for 30 minutes, that is an extremely fast speed. That's athletic talent there, in fact, I'm not much of a bike rider but, yeah, that's a fast clip for 30 minutes straght, I think. God gives us strength, there are times of my life where I just did things, athletically, that I normally did not do. This was God showing me things. :) I'm not sure what God shows you from going at a 24mph clip for 30 min straight on an excercise bike, but, the Lord leads, He knows, be open to where He has you go 'running and not growing weary and wakling and not fainting.' :)

Funny thing is, biking has been the only sports related thing I'm good at. :p I love doing it. And when I was able to bike outside, it gave me lots of time to think. The only time I was able to bike was when I was at my grandma's, because grandma's neighborhood (before she moved to the nursing home) is really safe. And everything is in biking and walking distance.

I could have biked all day there as a kid. I still like biking, just don't have the opportunity to do it anymore. It almost seems like even the biking trails are a little sketchy.

Being honest, as much as I love y'all, think you're awesome, and enjoy this site...sometimes I think Christian chat makes me feel worse. It amplifies the disconnect, if that makes any sense...

Does anyone know if Ben Moody, the ex member of Evanescence, is related to Dwight Lyman Moody, also known as D.L. Moody, an American evangelist and publisher who founded the Moody Church, Northfield School and Mount Hermon School in Massachusetts (now Northfield Mount Hermon School), the Moody Bible Institute and Moody Publishers?
