That's what reading with a carnal mind gets you. I'm not going to explain, not because I don't want to, but only because the Lord says "enough". I've been explaining so far, but have gotten a lot of criticism. In the end, that's just how it is.
So instead of accepting what the Bible says and that you were in error you try to explain it away. The verse is clear, they do have a spirit. You need to study what the spirit is.

About God is Spirit... yep He is... But He is a Spirit that CANNOT sin and does not mix with sin. His Spirit is light and holiness, not darkness and sin... that is Satan's campsite. God's is light and NO SIN...

When God's Spirit enters into flesh, that flesh CANNOT sin becasue it is FILLED with Glory and holiness. The Spirit of God MOVES that flesh, even the thoughts of the flesh... The NEW heart, in that flesh is ALL GOD, and it is the Spirit of God that CAUSE that flesh to KEEP his commands (LAW)

The Spirit of God makes sure that the flesh HE LIVES IN only do GOOD WORKS... The Spirit of God cannto sin, not even in thoughts.... So EVERY fleshly Body that is BORN OF GOD, is a NEW creature.... 100% like Jesus was. Same Spirit, same heart, same soul. Everything is not being made new, from the moment God puts His SEED in that person, that person is BORN OF GOD, Like Jesus was BORN OF GOD...

If you want the Scripture ask. I will gladly post it...

If you deny animals have a spirit from the word of God , this honestly shews you are not here to leran but to argue .

Not because all of us comes from a different teaching means we cannot learn something from eachother . It is the word of God that corrects not man . Hey if someone shews me from the bible xyz and it says xyz i better believe it no matter what religion . just a thought

The Bible suggests that animals have bodies and spirits but not souls. Eternal souls separate us from animals. Humans after all, are made in the very Image of God!

Error TINTIN .... God says we should not eat the blood of an animal his soul in in the blood....

Not hear with that nonsense about we cannot sin , please for all of us not here . Are you holier than David ? are you wiser than Solomon ? I think not and they had God Holy Spirit hmmm did they sin yep they did even worst than some of us today hmmmmmm i wonder why

Isdaniel believe this....
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
and this...
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

You take things to the extreme don't you. I'm saying you seem so sure about everything. Being sure that's there's a God, He's one and True and personal and holy but also merciful etc. Being sure of your salvation. Those are all great. But being sure about everything, that's not humanly possible, even with the Holy Spirit (at least not this side of eternity). I certainly don't know everything and I've been following Christ for most of my life. My age isn't important, neither is yours but humility does go a long way.
I'm already in the Kingdom of God. That's why I'm so sure about it. Yes, humility does go a long way. And I try my best to be humble. But, when it comes to God, I know I'm saved, and I know that this is the truth. Because God said so. Not because I did. But, I am done. I think stopping is of good use for now.

And btw, the Devil attacks in every way, and form. He was one of God's top angels for crying out loud. So, He doesn't come like a wolf. He comes like a wolf in sheep's clothing. Humble, and what not. But, then you'll see his true colours.

I'm done, and God bless all of you.
Toodles.

read that verse again. But, before you do. Ask God for guidance. Don't read it on your own. I did, it doesn't help.

There's an important Christian saying (it's not from the Bible but the message is true to the spirit of God's Word).
It goes something like this:

Don't be so heavenly (focused on the spiritual realm) that you're of no earthly use to God's Kingdom.
Don't be so earthly (grounded in the physical world) that you're of no heavenly use to God's Kingdom.

In Post 264 you said you will learn if it comes from God's Word these are the verses from 1 John 3 I did not suck it from my thumb.. I cpied and pasted from the KJV... It is from God's Word, so live up to your talk.... You talk the talk but you do not walk the walk.... Admit that whosoever is born of God Sinneth NOT, for His Seed remaineth in them and they CANNOT sin be casue they are Born of GOD...

Davis was NOT born of God, Moses was NOT born of God, Jesus was the FIRST, of many.... Only AFTER Jesus did God give the BORN OF GOD... I thought yuo would know this.

People see my age, and they immediately criticize me. Weren't you my age before? "Don't judge another person just because they sin differently than you."
Sin, doesn't matter. But sin, is the only thing on your minds. Was on mine too. I'm not here to judge, ridicule, nor am I here to hurt your feelings. I'm simply speaking the truth. The Lord spoke the truth, and everyone despised Him. the Lord speaks through me, and that's just how it is. Whether you agree, or not is totally up to you. I'm not pointing a gun at you, asking you to believe every single word I say.

God bless,

ElizabethPeter,

Often they forget the words in scripture,Samuel was young,John the baptist was FILLED WITH the Holy spirit BEFORE he was even born,Timothy was young also. They also forget the words of Jesus

Matthew 21

…15But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that He had done, and the children who were shouting in the temple, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they became indignant16and said to Him, "Do You hear what these children are saying?" And Jesus said to them, "Yes; have you never read, 'OUT OF THE MOUTH OF INFANTS AND NURSING BABIES YOU HAVE PREPARED PRAISE FOR YOURSELF'?" 17And He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, and spent the night there.

Matthew 11

25: At that time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.

Matthew 18

10: "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

Mark 9

36-37 He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me."

Stand firm on His Word.

The verse is plain, it looks to me that instead of accepting what the Bible says you are trying to explain it away. Some do that, instead of accepting a verse they will try to spiritualize it away to make it say something it does not.

I feel I need to say this again. I'm not talking about being sure about there being a God etc. and being sure of your salvation. I'm talking about the other details. The meat, not the milk of the Good News. Also, just because someone disagrees with you, doesn't mean the Enemy is attacking you. Sometimes that happens but certainly not always. More often it's because people have different opinions/beliefs or even they want to help to bring loving correction.

Reading is one thing. Understanding is another. There is a meaning behind every verse. But too many people take what they want to hear, and throw away the rest. God also said that you can drink the poison of a serpent and you will not die. Guess we can all drink poison, huh? If one verse has a meaning behind it, then so do the rest. We can't say that it means what it means. Cause if we did, where do you think we'd all be? Dead, probably.

There's a reason the Holy Spirit enters a born again believers heart.

Where does he say this? If you're talking about the last part of Mark (16:18) that's mentioned once and it's a latter addition to the book (not found in the original copies). Also, you can not base your theology on something if it's mentioned once in the Bible. That's not how it works.

Not theology. Alright then. What about parables? Do they simply mean what they mean, or is there a spiritual teaching behind it? Because Christ is quite fond of telling parables. So, if parables do have spiritual teachings behind them, the rest of the Bible doesn't? Sounds funny.

Please don't make excuses. I know you're doing it out of love. I'm just asking you to examine yourself and look at not WHAT you share but the WAY you share God's Word with others.

UMMM Tintin does this sound loving when Jesus said this to HIS DISCIPLES

Matthew 17

14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him.15 “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
17 “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.”18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faithas small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” [21] [a]
Mark 8
32 And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

And remember JESUS DID NOT SIN when He said those things.
