I'm somewhat a nerd and geek. But that's just because I am. Not because it's a trend. :p But I agree, people trying to pretend they're nerds and geeks are annoying.


Though another trend I'm tired of is everyone simply thinking they're a musician and can sing. You know the basic chords on a guitar and have an average voice. Cool. Now can you show me some real lead guitar stuff? No, not Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne. Not Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin.

Though I gotta admit, even I'm not that good (nearly 7 years of guitar playing, and I still haven't learned everything I should know. Or I just haven't found the right songs to play.). But at least I can admit that I know I'm not all that and a bag of chips. I don't even think I sing very good, which is the reason I only sing at my youth group and I don't sing for anything else.
 
In high school I had waist-length silky straight hair and wore dark matte lipstick. I was kinda doing the grunge thing with Doc Martins, low waist jeans, tight Ts, and over sized flannel. I went to a small school so there weren't really enough of us to participate in anything enough to call it a trend.
 
In the late 90's and early 00's I went through the track pants phase. Everyone wore them back then, even if you didn't exercise. You begged your parents for track pants. :cool: All your favorite bands wore them.
I loved them. They were super comfy, made that neat swish-swish sound when you walked, and the double layered ones were warm in the winter months. Whether they were big brand named or not, fat-striped or thin-striped, from the boy section or the girl section of the store, didn't matter. If they looked nice, I'd want em.

I was sad when the zipper on one of the legs of my favorite pair broke. I still wore it for a while after that though.

Yeah, I definitely wore those a lot. Along with these too.

Do you mean the up-high ones or just...side ponies? I wear my hair in a side pony a lot, but it's down by my neck/below my ear, definitely not up high.
