also, if trayvon was such a threatening TEENAGER ,

why did FULL GROWN MAN , George Zimmerman , not shoot him in the foot or the leg or both, even !? ,

not STRAIGHT IN THE HEART. !!?

come on people,
what is operating here...
what force causes you to find zimmerman so valiant and innocent ?

what is wrong with people who want to defend zimmerman, no matter what he does... how many times he displays odd behavior, or how many times he gets in caught in trouble as a full grown, armed man ?
Maybe instead of following the rule of law, we should have just lynched him. Sounds like that's what you want. Check your heart.

haha. funny. i never once mentioned that zimmerman should be harmed physically.

pretty blatant ( and emotional ) logical fallacy there, in your argument (?) , if it even is an argument.

but on the other hand, though i did not state that i wished any form of physical harm to zimmerman ( who seemingly wears a white unblemished robe of innocence, no matter what he does- in what seems to be presented by your opinion, )

martin lies dead in the grave-
with no consequence or justice served.

You complain about how terribad it is that we would defend a man under the rule of law. What else should I see when you shout, "Crucify! Crucify! Crucify!" Surely you're not talking about baking cookies with him.

The fact of the matter is this, under the rule of legitimate law, there wasn't enough to convict him of murder. You can try him for something else if you'd like, but I think you should make sure you don't have hate on your heart. It sounds a lot like you hate Zimmerman and anyone who isn't demanding he be exterminated.

You are accusing a Calvinist of believing men are innocent.

Please reconsider your accusation.

God takes care of Justice, but I think Martin and Zimmerman will be seeing each other again.

did you also not see that the title of this thread is : 'George Zimmerman arrested for assault on his new live-in girlfriend (not his wife)'

whether he assaulted his wife or not, he has just been arrested for assoult on his new live-in girlfriend.

he just seems to be found in all kinds of coincidentally questionable, yet innocent sitiations... doesn't he ?
I suppose if he was found with parking tickets and a library fine that proves he kills kittens, right?

sure sounds like a hero, being framed multiple times by multiple different people...
Calm down. No one said he's being framed multiple times. There's no library fine conspiracy theory here.

Give up your emotionally driven babblism and come to the table of rational discussion.

NOT ! ! !

nowhere did i " shout, Crucify! Crucify Crucify! " not one place. i didn't even mention what kind of consequences he should face... nowhere did i describe or state that i was capable of judging this.

and no, i would definitely not like to bake cookies with George Zimmerman, after all... he could ( and probably would ) pull a gun on me- just for my opinion or how i was dressed, alone.

this dude keeps getting into trouble.
there's nothing more i need to say.

The "crucify" is more of a metaphorical reference to the vehement nature of your responses. Text doesn't always tell the whole store, but it sure looks like hate on your heart.

I don't particularly like killin' people myself, but that doesn't mean I get to hate errwun who does.

Everyone get's in trouble every day with God, including you.

Fortunately I am not American and did not live through this nonsense. I get the feeling that had the two people involved were white it would have just been a local news story and nothing else.

I had no idea who Zimmerman was until a few days ago.

From the half hour odd I spent looking at the situation I see that a man driving along in his car spots someone acting suspiciously, so calls the police. He decides to follow him during which there is an altercation where it appears there was a struggle in which the young man acting suspiciously was shot and killed and the other had his head beaten on the ground.

The person waited for and surrendered to the police and admitted what he did citing self defence. The courts found him not guilty. End of story, or it should be.

problem is people are being "clever" by making out this young man is an innocent child robbed of his child hood at the hands of a crazed killer.

Then there are others who say that its great the law protected someone from using their firearm in self defence, good riddance to nasty people.

then ther are people like myself who couldn't really care less and thinks its all hyped up political posturing and point scoring on back of various agendas.

This incident illustrates why its a good thing that people are not allowed to own handguns or carry unsecured firearms around in my country, heated arguments result in shootings. Unfortunately we still see a lot of shootings in the UK.

i agree about gun laws...

i just don't think whether or not i cuss and/or shout obscenities while being chased by a full grown man as a 17yr old,
that that should justify my being shot directly in the heart as i try to run the other direction while being chased.

who wouldn't fight for their life when their opponent had a gun , while being completely unarmed and chased by someone who had been warned by professionals to stop/cease and desist from chasing this young man.

i don't care how much pot he smoked, or how much of a lively teenager he acted like.

he was unarmed, and running away from confrontation.

i smoked and drank and was quite a rowdy and rebellious teenager myself, that doesn't mean i would have tried to attack a full grown man following me around in a car, and then on foot, after he had been warned by professionals to STOP following me.

heck yeah i'd cuss him out, and try to defend myself.
armed with a bag of skittles and some tea, trying to shake some man with a bloated ego and dangerous weapon from my tracks, i would have done everything i could to save my own life.

and aside from that-
it doesn't change the fact that he's been dropped completely by his then wife,
and now face charges of assault for a brand new relationship with another woman.

oh yes, so innocent.
innocent as a dove, i'm sure.

such a pure soul, fighting for the rights and morals of all everywhere.
he deserves a pat on the back and some ice cream.
what an innocent, unassuming, non-violent and humble man.
fighting for the rights of gun toting egotistical americans everywhere!

please.

HOw do you know he was running away from confrontation? Its easy to jump to conclusions especailly When children and fluffy cute animals are involved. Thats why people like to call Tyvon a kid as its scores more points.

how do you know he wasn't running from confrontation ?

and where the heck did fluffy cute animals ever come into the conversation ?

martin was a regular teenager, displaying a wide range of interests... which didn't exclude a variety of things many teenagers experiment with ...

no, he wasn't a little boy, or a baby. strange logic you have, strange indeed.

...and also, maybe he didn't want to lead a strange man with a weapon directly back to his families' home.

how do you know he wasn't running from confrontation ?

That would be because he was shot in the chest, at close range. That doesn't make Zimmerman innocent, but it is impossible to get shot in the chest while running away from someone.

Watch: MMA Trainer ‘Mounts’ Defense Attorney In Court, Calls George Zimmerman ‘Soft’ | Mediaite

158 lb. martin against 198 lb. zimmerman,
zimmerman's recorded involvement in mma,
and his mma's teachers attempt at defending the position of zimmerman...
before the mma training business decided to offer up a ' zimmerman ' training program.

also, there was only one small abrasion on martin's hand...
which professional investigators concluded,
could have happened before the confrontation.

i did drugs and was rebellious as a teen,
as i have stated before.
that doesn't conclude that i had the heart of a murderer or thug, especially prepared while walking home to be
out to pounce on someone armed with a lethal weapon.

and yes... there is 911 dispatch record of zimmerman following martin, and being asked to stop following him,
as professional law officials were on the way.

i'll find the tape some where.
zimmerman was following, on the phone with 911 dispatchers-
and they were asking him to STOP FOLLOWING the young man.

he could have been initially running from confrontation, for sometime.. up until zimmerman caught up with him.

who in their right mind wouldn't try to defend themselves while being confronted with a gun, and unarmed simultaneously.

and if martin was on top of him ( zimmerman ) , how could he (zimmerman) possibly reach around to get the gun and aim it dead center at martin's chest... if he was pinned with no way of defending himself ?

i think it was sixteen inches away- the delivery of the bullet from the gun.
