Hey guys, im personally a huge metal fan. I love Christian metal in particular. For me, sometimes I feel judged as a Christian for liking metal. I mean, I don't believe it's the devils music like some people out there believe. Just because it sounds dark, doesn't mean it's bad. Nothing wrong with have the ability to scream. The message is all that matters. I love. Christian bands like flyleaf, as I lay dying, demon hunter, wolves at the gate ect. I mean if metal was bad I would feel guilt for listening to it. But I don't. I've prayed and prayed and god has shown me its alright. I don't mean to bash anyone but I'm just stating a strong opinion I have. It's just music. It deserves to be loved and shared not judged.
If you love it then enjoy it some people don't like it it's up to them it is up to you if you want to listen to it.
i like to listen to it sometimes.
As for it being devils music well that depands what the lyrics are saying some can hurt our religion and can mention the devil a few times so i avoid listening to those ones.

Where does he find the time to create music?
Lucifer was the angel in charge of music in heaven. He is described as having musical instruments as part of his body. So i'm sure he could find time.

I was once in a heavy metal band. I use to loved it, but when i jammed i felt lost. Something changed inside me.
Now i sing Jesus la la la . Funny that.
I have put much thought into this reason as i personally was involved in it, although ppl say its just music it has a lasting impression on how we act. We don't even realize it. Like an armor or like we want to burst out. It is a subliminal message. It is hard to say Emiem hasn't had a effect on young ppls opinions. Slipknot with people = S..t, etc It is the same as TV, every generation has pushed the boundary on what we call exceptable until where we are now watching obscene TV. Its had to watch your 3 yr old daughter dancing to lady gar (whatever) That has an impact on what they think at that age is acceptable. I would agree and say that at least you are listening to christian words and I wont lie i still enjoy listening to some heavy stuff but listen to what they are saying in the (nonchristian) music. And don't worry about ppl judging you its not their job, but love G-d first.
